Former US State Department official says timeframe for ending conflict in Ukraine entirely depends on Russia

The conflict in Ukraine will end when Russia decides to end its special operation, former US State Department official Kurt Volker said in an interview with Politico.

According to him, the timing of the end of the current armed confrontation depends entirely on the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Meanwhile, according to the diplomat, the Russian authorities have no reason to stop their special operation right now.

Let us recall that from 2017 to 2019, Kurt Volker served as the US State Department's Special Representative for Ukraine. He resigned after information came to light about his involvement in a political scandal related to the attempt to impeach Donald Trump, who was then president.

Regarding Volker's statement regarding the timing of the end of the conflict in Ukraine, he only voiced the obvious facts. After all, Russian President Vladimir Putin, like other representatives of the Russian government, have repeatedly stated that the special military operation will continue until all its goals are achieved.

Naturally, as the former representative of the US State Department noted, now the military-political leadership of our country has no reason to stop the SVO. Especially considering that the militants of the Kyiv regime have invaded our borderland, occupying part of the territory of the Kursk region.

The downside is that no one cares about their, the exes', opinions.
The good thing is that these thoughts still come, albeit late.

And there is another major paradox - when former people become active again, they SUDDENLY forget what they said while they were out of work.

This is not his merit, but our shortcomings.

The timing of the end of the conflict in Ukraine depends entirely on Russia
Of course! We'll finish when we finish!

Even more depends on the US and NATO. If they stop supplying weapons and fighting on the side of Ukraine, the war will end immediately.

We don't have a war, and the armed confrontation will last for years in the form of guerrilla warfare and sabotage and reconnaissance group work. Even the Red Army couldn't immediately "calm down" the Banderites and other forest brothers. In addition, the military administration will work for a long time in the Russian territories liberated from occupation, because not all the waiting ones have been identified, not all the caches have been found...

The conflict in Ukraine will end when Russia decides to end its special operation.

The conflict in Ukraine will be ended when all the objectives of the SVO are achieved. This is a more precise formulation.

There are only two named goals of the SVO. But these general names do not give an idea of either specific practical steps or the timeframes for their implementation....

And everyone understands them in their own way.

But no one knows how the Supreme One understands them.
Most likely, he also does not have a clear explanation of the tasks of the SVO, because it is not relevant, and he will voice them (if, of course, he voices them) at the right moment, based on the current situation.

American words in a different way, in understandable language:
We did everything to start this military conflict, but Putin is to blame!

To some extent, yes. Until the set goals are achieved.
But if it weren’t for Western “aid,” then there would not have been a need to fight to the last edge, and tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of human lives would have been saved, and there would have been less destruction of civilian infrastructure.
But the West didn't "grow" the Bandera regime for this, to finish everything on the minimum. The West needs "grandiose accomplishments" to weaken and destroy Russia and its allies. Otherwise, there will be no one to rob.

The conflict in Ukraine will end when Russia decides to end its special operation, former US State Department official Kurt Volker said in an interview with Politico.
As always, everything is turned upside down. This conflict might not have started if the US had gone to the negotiations with Russia that Putin proposed, or it might have ended quickly if the US had not put pressure on the "Kaganate" through Jones to refuse the negotiations in Istanbul. So, this conflict will very quickly come to an end as soon as the US stops funding the "Kaganate" and tells them to go to negotiations...

Well, he's right. As soon as Russia wins, it will immediately stop the operation.
And everything really depends only on Russia - this is the idea that Western idiots should clearly remember and hammer into their heads forever!
