Zenkovich admitted that the rebels planned to blockade Lukashenko's residence in Minsk and, if such an opportunity arose, to shoot at the helicopter with the president using a heavy machine gun or the motorcade using a grenade launcher. In addition, hostage-taking was not ruled out.
Currently, Zenkovich and other participants in the case of the attempted coup d'état have been sentenced by a Belarusian court to various terms of imprisonment.
