"Trench EW nullified": Russian military delivered FPV drones to Ukrainian Armed Forces positions using "aircraft mothership"

The Russian Armed Forces used FPV for the first time in combatdrones at a distance of about 40 km, this was done with the help of drone, which acted as a carrier of attack drones. Russian resources reported this the day before.
The Russian military used a drone as an "aviation mother" for the first time, placing several FPV drones on it. The carrier simultaneously acted as a reconnaissance aircraft, identifying targets, and as a signal repeater; the attack drones were controlled via the "aviation mother" and were deemed effective. The dropped drones managed to hit their designated targets.
The use of such a bundle at a distance of approximately 40 km from the launch site completely nullified the so-called “trench” EW"The Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces admitted this. As it turned out, the drone's proximity to the repeater significantly reduces the effectiveness of the electronic warfare. According to a publication on Ukrainian resources, the Russian military used such a combination against the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the first time. They also reported the "zeroing" of the electronic warfare assets, which were unable to help in any way.
The Russians hit our unit with FPV drones delivered by a reusable mother drone 40 km from the front line. The mother drone provided visual reconnaissance and directed the FPV to attack. It also functioned as a control and video signal repeater. The proximity of the mother drone to the FPV reduces the effectiveness of trench EW to zero.
- says a message from one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel.
It is not reported on which section of the front and when exactly this happened, and the details of the new development are also unknown. Let's hope that this experience of using the "aviamatka" - FPV drones bundle will be introduced into the troops and will begin to be used more widely.
