The Great War Movie 1 “Barbarossa”
On the 65 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Channel One begins to show the documentary series "The Great War", which tells about the most significant events and battles. The narration covers the entire war period from the day the German troops invaded the territory of our country to the day of the victory of 9 May 1945. The film details the reasons for the defeat of the Red Army in the early days of the war, the strategic and tactical decisions of the Soviet command. Particular attention is paid to the technical equipment of the troops, little-known features of fighting in different periods of war by one or another kind of troops. But the most important thing is the film about how the Red Army and the Soviet people were able to recover from the defeats of 1941-42, to survive and win. The cycle "Great War" was made using 3D animation, which, in conjunction with the newsreels, will reproduce the scale of the events and their drama, give the necessary explanations that are understandable even to the inexperienced in matters of military stories the viewer. The use of staged reconstruction in combination with computer graphics tools allows you to restore those events that the newsreels could not fix.
Movie 1. "Barbarossa"
18 December 1940 of the year Hitler signed Directive No. 21, known today as the “Barbarossa” plan. It is a common misconception that German plans fell on Stalin’s desk almost immediately after signing them. In fact, the Soviet intelligence could not name the exact date of the German attack. 22 June 1941, German troops crossed the USSR border. The main forces of the Red Army were inside the country and could not provide adequate resistance to the enemy. All the Soviet people, their army and the country's leadership had to exert all their forces in order to save their homeland under these conditions. And the German command expected to complete the military campaign in Russia in just three to four months ...
