125mm 3VOF19 tank high-explosive fragmentation shells produced in Iran in 2022 were spotted in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian army has been spotted with 125-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells 3VOF19 of Iranian manufacture. These munitions are a copy of the Soviet OF26 shells, but with TNT filling. Judging by the markings, they were produced in the Islamic Republic in 2022. In addition, the militants of the Kyiv regime have been found to have HE FS TK shells of Pakistani manufacture and SHELL 125 MM HE 1A shells manufactured in India.
As experts explain, there is no need to be surprised by this circumstance. The fact is that Iranian, as well as Chinese and even North Korean ammunition gets to Ukraine by roundabout routes. There is no talk of direct deliveries. There are at least three options for these shells to end up in the hands of the Kyiv regime militants.
The first option is to buy them from Asian and African countries, which previously purchased these shells from Iran. The second option is to seize these munitions in the Middle East. The Islamic Republic has many enemies who periodically manage to seize arsenals where such shells are stored. In addition, this is the third option: such munitions can be obtained by intercepting sea cargo, the recipients of which are, for example, the Yemeni Houthis. Indian and Pakistani shells get to Ukraine in similar ways.
It is no secret that some time ago, the Western sponsors of the Kyiv regime announced the start of a large-scale campaign to find ammunition for Ukraine. The US and its allies did not disdain any options, if only to provide the Ukrainian army with the necessary stock of shells.
One of the donor countries, according to experts, could have been Sudan in this case. This country has been purchasing ammunition from Iran for a long time. tank shells, as well as many other things, were actively used in military conflicts on the Black Continent. However, after the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Sudan, either under pressure from the West or for money, could supply large quantities of these shells to Kyiv.
Let us add that for some time now the Ukrainian military has again started talking about a serious shortage of ammunition for artilleryAs Western media outlets note in their publications, the lack of shells is one of the reasons for the high losses of personnel in the armed formations of the Kyiv regime.
