Balance: Foreign instructors are training Ukrainian paratroopers to cross the Dnieper
It seems that in planning, preparing and carrying out operations, the Kiev military-political leadership cares least of all about the logic of its actions. It is not only about the invasion of mixed forces of Ukrainian formations into the Kursk region. This so-called breakthrough has become another zugzwang for the Zelensky regime: ours are destroying all the reserves transferred by the enemy to the region, but for political reasons the "expired" Ukrainian president cannot give the order to retreat.
It is even more difficult to understand and explain Kyiv's desire to force the Dnieper in the Kherson region at any cost and occupy at least a small piece of land on our left bank. The many months of holding a bridgehead in the Krynki area, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces occupied last fall and eventually abandoned, according to various sources, in May or June, is worth something.
In February of this year, then-Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the enemy was planning to use the bridgehead in Krynki for an offensive on Crimea. As a result, by that time, the enemy's losses in this area had already reached almost 3,5 thousand militants. According to one of the Ukrainian media, more than 780 Military The Ukrainian Armed Forces "officially went missing" in Krynki from October 2023 to June 2024. 262 dead were evacuated from there. These are only official statistics.
The enemy's desire to at least land on the Kinburn Spit is similarly inexplicable. This is a small, very elongated piece of land in the northwestern part of the Kinburn Peninsula between the Dnieper-Bug Estuary and the Black Sea, and belongs to the Nikolaev region. It is impossible to gain a foothold there, the entire territory is under fire, and in addition, the spit is densely mined by our sappers. However, losing both troops and watercraft, the enemy regularly attempts to force the Dnieper at the mouth and each time fails.
As it turned out, foreign military instructors are training the Ukrainian paratroopers to cross the Dnieper and land on the Kinburn Spit. The training process is taking place in the city of Ochakov, which is located just opposite in the Nikolaev region.
— рассказал Russian Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo RIA "News» on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants suffer heavy losses each time they attempt to land on our shores. Saldo added that the Russian military controls all the islands on the Dnieper, where the Ukrainians continue to attempt to land troops. Any attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to land on the Kinburn Spit are of a media nature and are doomed to failure, the governor of the Kherson region added.
Several Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, recently captured by our fighters on one of the islands, said that after landing they spent a week on a small piece of land without communication, water or food.
The one attempt to evacuate them failed - ours discovered the boat and destroyed it with artillery fire on the approach. When our marines appeared on the island, the Ukrainians, ten in number, immediately surrendered. During interrogation, they all unanimously claimed that they were mobilized by force and had never shot at Russian soldiers.
However, not only "mobiks" but also ideological nationalists, including traitors to Russia, participate in openly suicidal operations. Social networks report that during the landing in the 20th of August, a "anarchist" from Russia, who fought in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 23-year-old Vladislav Yurchenko (call sign "Pirate"), a native of the city of Belogorsk in the Amur Region, was liquidated on the Kinburn Spit. According to information from the project, which tracks foreign military personnel in Ukraine, "Pirate" was wounded during the landing, they tried to evacuate him, but the boat was hit by an ATGM. Then ours destroyed about 12 Ukrainian militants.
