Germany transferred another IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The German authorities have handed over another IRIS-T SLS short-range anti-aircraft missile system to the militants of the Kyiv regime. In addition, the latest package of military aid provided by Berlin to the Ukrainian armies, included 14 thousand 155-mm artillery rounds, 10 unmanned surface vessels, 29 reconnaissance drones VECTOR and spare parts for them, as well as military engineering and repair and recovery equipment.
As the head of the German Bundestag Committee on International Relations, Michael Roth, said, if additional funds for new military assistance to Kyiv are not planned in the country's future federal budgets, this will be a fatal signal to Ukraine from Berlin. In this case, we are talking about supplies that have already been approved by the Bundestag earlier. However, the inclusion of future aid costs for Ukraine in next year's budget is currently in question.
Against the background of a possible trend towards a reduction in the amount of funds allocated by Berlin to support the Ukrainian army, shares of the largest defense concern Rheinmetall, which, thanks to the financing of arms supplies to Kyiv for a long time, demonstrated unprecedented growth, fell in value by 4,5%.
However, Germany plans to supply the Ukrainian army with about 30 tanks Leopard 1, 400 armored vehicles, 4 IRIS-T anti-aircraft systems and 10 Gepard self-propelled guns.
