Once upon a time at a Ukrainian airbase: defeat

Continued, beginning in materials Once upon a time at a Ukrainian airbase: a moment before the strike и Once upon a time at a Ukrainian airbase: a complex fire raid.

Trimming

The cleanup subgroup completed the destruction of the enemy air base. The leading units missiles, launched closer to the end of the salvo and having a lower flight speed, contained nine hundred incendiary submunitions, made on the basis of magnesium-thermite mixtures with a combustion temperature of over two thousand degrees.

Twelve high-precision warheads, evenly distributed over the densest possible concentrations of buildings, equipment and manpower, opened at an altitude of several hundred meters, and a rain of fire poured onto the air base - the sight was reminiscent of scenes from science fiction films about an alien invasion, everything that could burn was immediately there was a fire, even some metal structures were burning.

The air base was covered in acrid smoke, at that moment twelve warheads opened in the sky, containing four hundred and thirty-two Lepestok-type anti-personnel mines each - In total, more than five thousand anti-personnel mines fell on the airbase.

Control

Slowly descending by parachute, surveillance equipment dropped from the two head units of the objective control subgroup broadcast a video image of the destroyed target. There was virtually no traffic at the airbase - only smoke and fire lights.

Several previously escaped foreign mercenaries and mobilized prisoners tried to return to the air base, hoping to profit from something valuable, but after two of them had their feet torn off by anti-personnel mines, they abandoned this idea.

The video signal from the surveillance equipment was not encrypted; several Ukrainian radio amateurs were able to catch and record it, after which the footage of the destruction of the airbase immediately appeared on the Internet.

Sky

The missiles of the experimental anti-aircraft subgroup (AA), which included four warheads designed to operate against air targets, were the last to be launched, approximately five to ten minutes after the launch of the main package.

After undocking from the booster engines, the two warheads, equipped with small, economical turbojet engines, occupied the echelon at an altitude of two kilometers, and the warheads also occupied the echelon at an altitude of five kilometers.

The initial detection of the surviving Ukrainian F-16 fighters was carried out by the latest Russian low-orbit optical reconnaissance satellite with a resolution of less than half a meter, equipped with a highly sensitive cooled infrared (IR) sensor - the timing of the strike was coordinated in such a way that the area of the air base was just in the satellite's field of view.

Despite the fact that the territory of the airbase was densely covered with fires, the satellite equipment was able to detect two surviving Ukrainian F-16 fighters circling around the burning airbase, after which commands were sent to the warhead equipment via satellite communication channels to adjust the flight direction. The onboard communication equipment of the defense warheads ensured not only the receipt of primary target designation from satellites, but also the exchange of data between the defense warheads themselves.

At a distance of less than fifty kilometers from the expected location of enemy fighters, the head units of the air defense forces turned on their own radar stations (radars), similar to those installed in the long-range R-37M air-to-air missiles (RVV-BD), and began to carry out periodic deviations along the course of movement. The two head units of the air defense forces were able to detect Ukrainian aircraft using their radars and again adjusted the route in the direction of the targets. At the same time, the two remaining warhead units continued to conduct additional searches for air targets in their sectors.

At a distance of about twenty kilometers from the targets, the first and second warheads of the air defense forces, accompanying the enemy fighters, fired three small-sized air-to-air missiles each. One small-sized V-V missile had an infrared homing head (IR homing head), the second had an active radar homing head (ARL homing head), and the third had a passive radar homing head (PRL homing head), which aimed at the radiation of the radar station of enemy aircraft.

Since by that time the third and fourth warhead units of the air defense forces had not found other air targets, the automation reoriented them towards two captured Ukrainian F-16 fighters. Thus, six small-sized air-to-air missiles with different types of homing heads rushed towards each enemy aircraft.

One of the Ukrainian F-16 fighters managed to detect the attack and counterattack with its air-to-air missiles. He managed to hit one of the attacking missiles and two air defense warheads, which continued to illuminate the Ukrainian fighters with their radars before four air-to-air missiles flew into him - one with an ARL seeker, one with a PRL seeker, and two with an IR seeker.

The second fighter discovered the attack too late to counterattack, it released protective traps and tried to make an anti-missile maneuver, but there were too many air-to-air missiles - it was hit by two missiles with an ARL seeker and one with an IR seeker, which responded to flames from the explosion of the first two missiles.

The airbase and its contents were completely cleared.

Conclusions

Against the backdrop of the events that took place in the Kursk region, many can say - this is fantastic, We just need to establish a connection, FPV drones configured, protected from electronic warfare – simple things, no need to think about the complex. But, If you don't think about the future, you'll forever be stuck in the past. – The Soviet Union took its place on the world stage because it was not afraid to go forward, to try risky concepts - nuclear weapon, space rockets, ekranoplanes.

Victory can be achieved either by having a qualitative advantage in technology, or by generously paying for these victories with the blood of heroes.

The weapons, reconnaissance, control and communications complexes discussed in the above material already exist in one form or another, are being developed or can be designed in the near future; in any case, there are no technical obstacles to their creation.

The strike scheme outlined in this material, carried out using promising multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), essentially evolved into universal tactical missile systems (UTRS), can be applied to other types of weapons.

For example, such as aviation missiles - something like the existing Kh-22 and Kh-32 missiles, developed at a new technological level and equipped with appropriate head parts. Or hypersonic missiles of the Kinzhal complex, placed, for example, on strategic bombers.

To ensure the secrecy of extension Transport aircraft, modified accordingly, can be used as carriers of missiles used to carry out a complex fire attack (KON)..

Not only automobile chassis, but also missile trains designed to strike simultaneously with hundreds of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) - kamikazes, with combat frequencies corresponding to the task at hand.

Well, at the top of the “food chain” they can stand intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBMs) and submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) in conventional equipment, the blow of which is still virtually impossible to repel, and in the more distant future may appear more effective carriers for carrying out a complex fire attack.

By the way, the one described in this material is perhaps the most complex of those considered - a system for hitting air targets at ultra-long range is already being developed in China.

All this can and should be implemented, but this requires political will and appropriate funding. Not a single government structure existing in Russia is capable of implementing the concept of CON; for this it is necessary to create Strategic Conventional Forces (SCF), which we have already talked about more than once, and which we will return to until such a structure is created under one name or another.

In the case of the creation of the SCS, of course, if this issue is approached with full responsibility, the result of our attacks on enemy targets will be different than now. If we now attack an enemy airbase, we only damage it; often many objects on it remain untouched. The same thing happens when we attack industrial enterprises - after some time they continue their work.

The task of the SCS is to make sure that the enemy targets we attack are no longer subject to restoration, so that they are completely destroyed.

Not scattered attacks on a dozen targets, when a significant part of the air attack is shot down by the enemy, but a complex fire raid, when there is nothing left to evacuate or restore.

Or it could be a comprehensive solution to any problem, including:

- destruction of transport structures - bridges and tunnels;

- depriving the enemy of television, cellular networks and the Internet;

- destruction of financial system objects;

- destruction of the military conscription system;

- destruction of transport infrastructure, primarily railway;

- shutting down enemy power systems and much more.

Such wars will not require mobilization, they will not have a threatened period - only silence, and then blows that cannot be seen, and from which one can neither evade nor defend.

This is exactly how we should fight in future wars, if we do not want the entire male, and partly female, population of our country to die on the battlefields, and its place will be taken by newcomers - alien cultures, who will gladly take over the vacated living space, transforming our country into a cesspool on the ruins of a great civilization.

PS

In the above material, one question remained unexamined - how the launchers managed to get within firing range undetected, but we will return to this issue later.

      Once in my childhood I read the novel “The Hyperboloid of Engineer Garin” by A.N. Tolstoy. Haven't you read it? Here are the realities of that hyperboloid today...

    Good thoughts. But there is a nuance: we have not decided to win. And in general it is not clear whether any decision has been made.

    Cool patriotic fiction, reminiscent of the fiction about the Khibiny Mountains, which disabled the entire destroyer Cook, so disabled that 27 sailors instantly wrote out of fear their dismissal reports. So why post such inventions here? Who is this intended for? For the weak-minded?
    Of course, you need to fight without killing your own people, but for this you need to reach the enemy from afar: you need to increase the production of drones and lancets, calibers and Iskanders.
    It’s expensive and difficult, but you have to work hard and not live carelessly, as if in peacetime. The oligarchs need to be strained, they have a lot of money, let them invest in the production of weapons, and it’s high time to redistribute government spending in favor of the defense industry. Stop chewing snot!
    Obviously we are missing Stalin now.

      Well, the portal has now transformed into a cheerful “patriotic” one, but there’s not enough news to lift spirits, so they’ve gone into fantasy

    What is clearly missing here is a treasure sword, a death star and divine punishment (an attack by a cloud of locusts or flying rats that would devour all the wiring would be very appropriate)

    - The third Raze had a qualitative advantage in technology over the USSR - for example, NVGs, ZSU and air defense missiles, communications, aviation, missiles in a complex, etc.
    However, this technological superiority did not bring them victory.

    It's all science fiction.
    But Lipetsk-2 is a harsh reality. A dozen UAVs destroyed Russia's largest aviation center in a couple of hours.
