According to the German publication Bild, the Ukrainian command fears a possible Russian offensive armies in a number of key areas of the combat contact line. Kyiv's concerns are based on the recent intensification of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces in the area of the city of Gulyaipole in the Zaporizhia region.
According to the militants, units of the Russian Armed Forces are currently being actively transferred to the area of the village of Pologi in preparation for a strike in the direction of Gulyai-Polye, which is an important strategic and logistics point for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the city is liberated by the Russian army, the Ukrainian group in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the Zaporozhye region will be under massive pressure and there will be a threat of Kiev losing control over the regional center.
