“Novy Urengoy - Moscow”: another collision between a truck and a passenger train occurred in Russia

Just a few days ago, a Kazan-Adler train and a truck collided in the Volgograd region, resulting in people being injured, when another collision between a truck and a passenger train occurred again in Russia. This time, fast train No. 11 “Novy Urengoy – Moscow” crashed into the car in the Perm region on the single-track electrified section “European - Ust-Tiskos”.

The details of the incident were reported to journalists by the press service of the Russian Railways company.

They said that the driver of the car, despite the approaching train, drove onto the railway tracks at an unequipped crossing this morning. As a result of the incident, he was the only one injured. Passengers and train crew employees did not require medical assistance. The front of the locomotive and the truck were damaged.

A recovery train from the Sverdlovsk Railway was urgently sent to the scene of the collision. Soon, employees of the railway repair brigade eliminated the consequences of the accident, and traffic was restored. The passenger train moved further along the route almost four hours late. Also, two commuter flights were canceled during restoration work. Now the railway service has been fully restored.

Traffic in the area is carried out as usual

- reported the press service of Russian Railways.

The Investigative Committee is checking the circumstances of the incident.

This is what infuriates me! There should be no access to the crossing if there is a train coming. And if the driver considers himself the driver of a tank, capable of avoiding all obstacles, then this should not be considered a violation of the rules, but deliberate sabotage.
By the way, about the income of Russian Railways. here, taken from the Novorossiysk website:
“Luxes” have risen in price to 200 thousand, and Novorossiysk is no longer accessible by high-speed train.

With airports closed, trains remain almost the only alternative for traveling around Russia, with the exception of trips by private car. Novorossiysk and neighboring resort towns can be reached by direct train from Moscow, Kazan, Chelyabinsk and many other parts of Russia. Demand is growing, and with it prices are rising.

At the beginning of summer, Bloknot wrote that train tickets to Novorossiysk were sold out until the end of August and beginning of September. At the moment, if we consider the popular route "Moscow - Novorossiysk", there are single tickets for high-speed trains for August 25, and more than a hundred tickets are released for August 28. It all depends on the day of the week. However, as for the fastest train from the capital to Novorossiysk, there are practically no tickets left until mid-September. Tourists will be able to go to NE for 30-35 thousand rubles, or in a “luxury” for 85-100 thousand or more.

Novorossiysk, compared to other cities on the Black Sea coast, can be reached more or less inexpensively, even by high-speed train. Prices for some destinations, for example, to Sochi, have increased significantly. Suites have risen in price the most: until recently you could travel for 145-160 thousand rubles in a carriage with your own toilet and all comfort conditions, but now the cost has risen to 200-211 thousand. Despite the rise in price, people still buy suites.

But train tickets are, in part, a lottery. Over the past month, the editors of Blokpad have received several requests from vacationers and local residents who reported hellish stuffiness and faulty air conditioners in the carriages. This is written about in various media and telegram channels. For example, according to E1.ru (Ekaterinburg News), a resident of the Urals was returning from Novorossiysk by train without electricity and water, traveling for almost three days.

There have always been accidents at unequipped crossings. And not only here, but also in the Americas. There are thousands of such transfers. Naturally, everything requires a lot of money. Driver discipline is also needed, which is lame for some, although the traffic rules regarding crossings have created enough rules. As for fabulous profits, 170 billion in net profit, with a workforce of more than 700 thousand people and investments of more than 1200 billion (mostly from the budget), this is not a fabulous, but a normal profit. Briefly speaking! Be careful when moving! Reckless travel threatens both health and prison.

I think it would be useful for certain violations of traffic rules, for example for drunkenness and moving, to deprive the driver of transport rights for life. Then either discipline will increase or the number of idiots driving will decrease.

Read on. Not in an unequipped place, but at an unequipped crossing. It is written in black in Russian that there is a move:
the driver of the car, despite the approaching train, drove onto the railway tracks this morning in an unequipped move

And there are countless such crossings, when there is a crossing, but it is not equipped with barriers or traffic lights

but it is not equipped with barriers or traffic lights

            There must be traffic lights.
A crossing without a barrier is called unregulated.
In an unequipped place, crossing the path is prohibited.
The solution is “automatic barriers”; even a KamAZ truck cannot pass them.

I once worked in the railway department. There was a dead-end railway line belonging to the Ministry of Railways and ending with a freight station. A cargo-passenger train traveled along this line 4 times a day. And then, at the same unequipped crossing in the countryside, a collision between a train and a truck occurred. It is clear that it is not practical to equip such crossings with barriers. Barriers are required where there is a lot of car or train traffic.

One of the problems of Russian Railways is expenses that go nowhere. For external decoration, for numerous and useless choppers, etc. There should be no unguarded crossings a priori. No money for overpasses? So-so beloved personnel at the top of Russian Railways, cut them off at least once, chip in damn.. Or cheaper than payments to those who died from all sorts of idiots (and this cannot be cured)

No need to compose. Everyone was paid $200 thousand, regardless of their passport.
In 2003, Ukraine signed intergovernmental agreements with Russia and Israel on compensation to relatives of those killed in the plane crash without legal admission of guilt. In accordance with these agreements, Ukraine paid 200 thousand US dollars for each victim - 7,8 million dollars to Russia and 7,5 million dollars to Israel[10][11][12].

If Russian Railways paid 200 thousand dollars for each dead person, the crossings would be quickly equipped :((

Carelessness and unbridled drivers are the reason, not Russian Railways. Fines from 20000 are treated very well for exceeding 20 km in the city, for moving, for running a red light, etc. not 500 and then another discount of 250 rubles. In the West, law-abiding people are not from the heart, but from good fines. An acquaintance in Poland drove 180-200 km per hour and received a fine of 800 euros.
