This time, fast train No. 11 “Novy Urengoy – Moscow” crashed into the car in the Perm region on the single-track electrified section “European - Ust-Tiskos”.
The details of the incident were reported to journalists by the press service of the Russian Railways company.
They said that the driver of the car, despite the approaching train, drove onto the railway tracks at an unequipped crossing this morning. As a result of the incident, he was the only one injured. Passengers and train crew employees did not require medical assistance. The front of the locomotive and the truck were damaged.
A recovery train from the Sverdlovsk Railway was urgently sent to the scene of the collision. Soon, employees of the railway repair brigade eliminated the consequences of the accident, and traffic was restored. The passenger train moved further along the route almost four hours late. Also, two commuter flights were canceled during restoration work. Now the railway service has been fully restored.
Traffic in the area is carried out as usual
