The press service of the Korenovsk administration (Krasnodar Territory) reported that on February 19, 2013, it was part of the 393rd Sevastopol
aviation Russian Army Air Force Base, stationed at the Korenovsk airfield, received the first new Ka-52 combat helicopter. We are talking about a car with tail number "42 red" (serial number 06-01), of those made in 2012 at OJSC Arsenyev Aviation Company Progress, which were assembled from January 2013 at OJSC Rostvertol in Rostov- on-Don (which our blog has already reported). The assembly of the first two Ka-52 helicopters with tail numbers 41 red (serial number 05-05) and 43 red was completed by Rostvertol on February 1, but the first in Rostov a helicopter with the number “15 red” was lifted into the air on February 42. As a result, it was first delivered to the Air Force, arriving in Korenovsk on February 19.
In total, according to the press service of the Korenovsk administration, by the end of February the 393-I air base should receive X-NUMX Ka-16 helicopters assembled in Rostov, although it is not clear whether this period will be sustained.
