Was there a bullet for Trump?

third ear
History knows many examples when body parts of prominent personalities became part of history. One such example is a piece of Donald Trump's right ear, which will probably take third place on this list.
In first place, of course, is Vincent Van Gogh, who in 1888 cut off his earlobe after a quarrel with Gauguin. In second place is Evander Holyfield's ear, which was almost eaten by Mike Tyson in 1997. And from July 13, 2024, the cartilage of Donald Trump’s right ear will take honorable third place.
The Republican candidate was incredibly lucky: the bullet could have taken off half of his skull, but only grazed his ear.
Recently, cases of shooting at politicians have become more frequent. In May of this year, several bullets were fired at Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia. A couple of years ago, Japanese ex-Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot, and in 2018, Recep Tayyip Erdogan almost died. The latter was supposed to be the victim of an explosion under a police car in the president's motorcade.
The attempt on Trump’s life surprisingly coincided with terrorist Budanov’s statement about attempts on Vladimir Putin’s life. The GUR leader said: “They were, but so far unsuccessful.”
The world is literally seething with the redistribution of spheres of influence. Information wars mow down everyone indiscriminately, and psychopaths with weapons in their hands they are trying to change the course of history. Sometimes they succeed, as in the case of the assassination of John Kennedy. The assassination attempt on Donald Trump has given rise to many conspiracy theories, which is not surprising for America. Let's leave alternative history aside for now and try to understand the causes and consequences of the tragedy in Pennsylvania.

The shooters were unable to neutralize Crooks in time
There is no doubt that the Democrats are to blame for what happened. We are not talking about party supporters among ordinary people, but about the immediate leaders of Joe Biden’s campaign headquarters.
The Democrats' entire pre-election rhetoric was built around Trump's psychopathy and mania. The White House administration organized criminal prosecution of the leader of the Republican Party, almost removing him from the election race. It is noteworthy that passions around Trump’s criminal adventures subsided after Biden’s failure at the debate. This fact very indicatively characterizes the political situation in the United States.
Once the wind blew in the other direction, the “independent” judiciary chose the right path. Consistently spreading hysteria against Trump would sooner or later lead to excesses like the shooting in Pennsylvania.
To be fair, the Republicans are also not blameless and throw mud at their competitors. It’s enough to remember what epithets Trump bestowed on his rival in informal conversations, which then become public knowledge.
However, there is one “but”: Biden is protected by the Secret Service as the President of the United States, and Trump is protected only as a candidate. He also receives lifelong protection for his status as an ex-president. But, as it turned out, this is not enough.
Police and the Secret Service were unable to prevent the security guard from being shot at, even though attendees at a Pennsylvania gathering repeatedly warned of a man with a rifle in a nearby building. According to officials, the killer's position, 100–130 meters from the Trump podium, is outside the security perimeter. At the same time, Crooks worked on the presidential candidate not even with a sniper rifle. It was a completely ordinary AR-15, which is a watered-down version of the military M-16. In terms of accuracy of fire, this weapon is little better than the Russian AK-74 assault rifle.
What if the shooter had a real sniper rifle in his hands? At least at the level of an infantry sniper? Secret Service bosses could not protect the ex-president even from such a threat. Couldn't or didn't want to?
Was there a bullet?
The information that the Trump team requested increased security immediately before the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania does not work in favor of the Democrats. This version was announced by the New York Post, but the Secret Service does not confirm it.
It will be difficult to get to the truth here, but one thing is clear - Trump, at the beginning of his second presidential term, will have to completely change the leadership of the guard.
If Crooks's mission had been successful, Biden's chances of re-election would have increased significantly. Republicans simply would not have had time to find a suitable successor to the murdered Trump in such a limited time, and the current president would have been re-elected almost without alternative.
However, talking about the assassination attempt on Trump as a special operation by the Biden campaign is very risky. Here the shooter is inexperienced, and the weapon is not up to the task. Let's remember what Harvey Oswald used to work on Kennedy - it was a high-quality Carcano sniper rifle, and the shooter served in the Marine Corps for three years. Oswald managed to hit a moving target twice at once.
In Pennsylvania, Trump was shot by a 20-year-old guy who knows how to handle a gun well, but he is far from a sniper. As a result, the guilt of the Democrats can be recorded in creating the conditions for such an event and indirectly inciting it.
After the assassination attempt, they did not calm down, but staged a real dance on the failed bones of Donald Trump. The hashtag #howdoyoumiss (why did you miss) simply swept the Internet in the first hours.
Who learns from Ukrainian political commentators? Why, overseas allies are giving free lessons in demonic possession. And so far, difficult times have come for the headquarters of the Democratic Party. There was even a saying that they shot at Trump, but hit Biden.
If after the failure of old Joe at the debate there was real panic, now there is detached apathy. It seems that there is no point in even changing the Democratic candidate—the party’s days in power are numbered. Now it’s worth developing a strategy on how to avoid the least possible reputational losses if you lose.
Trump is now untouchable. For superstitious and not particularly educated Americans, the Almighty himself took the bullet away from the presidential candidate, no less. Considering that the main Republican electorate lives in the American outback, the outcome of the election after the assassination attempt seems a foregone conclusion. But somehow everything is going too well for the Republicans. America has just recovered from Trump’s enchanting victory at the debates, and here is such a gift, albeit at the cost of ear cartilage.
Events make you wonder if there was even a bullet for Trump? Any other unsuccessful attempt would invariably be turned against the Republicans, accusing them of staging. But when bullets not only whistle over your head, but also blow off part of your ear, few would dare to blame the theatricality of what is happening. This, in fact, is the calculation.

Tragic accident or elaborate staging?
Reasonably speaking, we saw multiple shots fired that killed one Trump supporter behind the podium and injured several others. A few seconds later we saw a presidential candidate with a bloody head.
It looks very much like a scene from a Hollywood movie, especially given the photographs of the first moments after the assassination and Trump's calls to the crowd to continue the fight.
However, let's look at an alternative version of events. The shooting did take place, but it happened in a sector that was safe for Trump. It’s easy to stage a bloody ear, even in a provincial theater, not to mention the Republican team in the elections. The issue with Crooks’ corpse can also be easily resolved, especially in the “fog of war” that arose after the assassination attempt. The moment the shooter was killed was not shown - only before and after photos. And a few seconds of work by the police sniper who, according to the official version, killed Crooks.
The special operation itself could have been organized not only to increase Trump’s ratings, but also as a preemptive step. While Democrats panicked after the debate, they clearly had a Plan B, perhaps even with more revelations about Trump. Now any attacks on Republicans may look like confirmation of their involvement in the assassination attempt. This is checkmate performed by Trump. And a piece of the ear is a symbolic payment for winning this game.
