Bild: the air defense systems promised at the NATO summit will not cover even the large border cities of Ukraine

The air defense systems promised to Kyiv at the NATO summit will not be able to provide cover even for the large border cities of Ukraine. Such large cities as Kharkov, Sumy, Nikolaev and Chernigov will remain under the threat of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces.

As reported by the German publication Bild, citing Military экспертов, в настоящее время два поставленных ранее украинской armies американских комплекса ПВО Patriot дислоцированы в Киеве, еще по одному - во Львове и Одессе.

At the same time, three additional Patriot air defense systems and one SAMP/T air defense system recently promised to Ukraine by the West, according to German experts, most likely can be used to protect military facilities in Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, Vinnitsa, as well as air bases in the Khmelnitsky region, where it is planned deploy F-16 fighters.

The use of air defense systems by Ukraine in close proximity to the front line or borders with Russia and Belarus, according to German analysts, is difficult due to the extremely high probability of their detection by intelligence drones RF Armed Forces and subsequent destruction by missile and drone strikes.

Due to the abundance of Russian aerial reconnaissance assets operating in the depths of Kyiv-controlled territory, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to use Western air defense systems and other weapons systems less frequently near the line of combat contact. In just one week, as a result of strikes by the Iskander OTRK, the militants of the Kyiv regime lost seven American HIMARS MLRS installations.

The problem is that the old, Soviet air defense systems are running out. Ends with used, spare parts. They are trying to cover their failure by supplying Western air defense systems, but no one will supply them in the quantities required. Both due to cost and due to lack of availability in the required quantities.

For Zelya, the main thing is that these air defense systems cover his ass, the rest is secondary...

My country has been saving up an air defense system for decades, and they want to take it for nothing? I don't think they will succeed.

But I still don’t understand what they will put in the outskirts. Poo or complexes? Five batteries or five pu. Five pu or one judging by the cost of assistance request

It’s easier to remove military installations from the city and there will be happiness.

In addition to covering important, in the opinion of NATO advisers, Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities, supplies of Western air defense systems have the goal of learning to resist our Iskanders, Daggers, Onyxes, Zircons, X-32s, etc. They are looking for various options for combining their air defense systems, but so far without success - so far none of them the listed RK was not shot down when repelling attacks by the RF Armed Forces in the Northern Military District zone. But the Patriot air defense system (USA) was lost in abundance

They lack an aviation component; the basis of NATO air defense is fighter aircraft

Most likely, cybersecurity, bomb, fly... And preferably a obviously weaker enemy, but for that the whole thing.

Well, not without this. It’s just that NATO does not have echeloned air defense as in Russia. There is a different system, there is object-based air defense, and the main burden falls on the air defense. It is they, the F 16, that are, of course, multifunctional fighters, which is why they were chosen for the UA. There are just a lot, a lot of them

How simple it is for smart people. And whose ass should be put on display in Belgorod so that explosions don’t sound there every day?

Apparently, the moment is approaching when large UAVs such as ORION and Forpost will hover over the territory of 404 with impunity....
