Politicians conquering the Internet

Russia has long known that many politicians are literally bursting into the world of the Internet. However, for some time there has been a kind of competition between the powerful citizens of Russia: who has more accounts in various social networks, blog services and microblogs and other Internet sections. Some are attacking Facebook, laying out here photo news about their activities and about their rest. Others are storming Twitter by literally every minute posting small notes about every step of their lives. Still others have time here and there.

There is even an unofficial rating of the heads of Russian regions, which tells us which of the current politicians are the most distinguished in the field of the Internet. According to this rating, the Krasnodar Governor Tkachev occupies the first place in the list, who manages to “light up” on various pages in different networks. The second place is reserved for Nikita Belykh, who today leads the Kirov region. The leader of the Chechen Republic, Mr. Kadyrov, also entered the top three political Internet leaders of the country among the representatives of the governor's corps.

The head of Chechnya, in addition to Twitter, decided to register on an Internet service such as Instagram. This is a special photo sharing application that is supported by operating systems such as Android (newer versions) and iOS (starting with 4.3 version). In Russia, this service is still not very well distributed and is not as popular as in the West, but this did not prevent Ramzan Kadyrov from starting to publish his photos there. The head of the North Caucasian republic managed to publish more than 70 various photos for the first time of his stay on Instagram, which, among other things, tell about his personal life. The world has learned what kind of situation prevails in Kadyrov's house, what cars the head of Chechnya likes to drive, what food to eat and what people to meet. Already in the first days after registration, Kadyrov's Instagram account had several tens of thousands of subscribers who are ready to catch every photo published by this person.

If we talk about other Russian politicians, those that do not represent the governor’s corps, here, of course, Dmitry Medvedev is in the first place to conquer the Internet. His accounts in various services are visited by hundreds of thousands of users daily.
