Judging by the actions of the United States in relation to other countries sentenced to death, it is too early to talk about it. The militant rhetoric is changing to a peace-loving one, but the essence of the fascist policy of this state always remains the same - to destroy and kill.
Simply, the United States realized that talking with Syria, and at the same time with Russia, cannot be done directly by force. Syrian republican troops continue to beat the rebels, and Russia does not agree to give up the right of veto on all attempts to force US-NATO intervention through the UN Security Council into the situation in the SAR.
The US is trying to approach the problem from the other side. Brute force is replaced by a soft one, threats are replaced by words about negotiations, and gradually the States, together with the so-called "opposition" of Syria, are preparing a cunning trap. As for the leadership of Syria, it is unlikely that it will fall into this trap (after all, for Syria it is a matter of life and death), but the leadership of Russia would like to warn against it.
So, the head of the Qatari coalition, personally appointed by Hillary Clinton, Moaz Al-Khatib, not without instructions from overseas, suddenly pretends to agree to negotiate with the legitimate Syrian leadership. At the same time, because of his back, there are speeches that negotiations can only talk about one thing - about the resignation of President Bashar Al-Assad, ostensibly "by peaceful means" (which is an illusion and obviously impossible, and they all know about it) and the transfer of power ( who? Not to those scumbags with whom the Syrian army has been beating to death for almost two years?). Let me remind you who Moaz Al-Khatib is a former preacher of the Umayyad Mosque, the largest in Damascus. Last July, when the insurgent operation called “Volcano in Damascus, an earthquake in Syria” began and the threat of seizing the capital arose - instantly fled the country, betraying not only the Motherland, but also his faith. And now marks the presidency.
At the same time, Mr. Kerry, the new US Secretary of State, states that, first, he has new ideas on how to influence the Syrian President and force him to resign and transfer power, but he does not want to personally voice them, because This requires a lot of coordination at the international level. Secondly, he is not going to conduct any negotiations with Bashar Al-Assad (realizing that he will not be able to convince him of this option for sure). The question is, what are these new ideas?
Speaker of the policy of the US State Department Victoria Nuland carefully reveals the cards. She says that, say, while Bashar Al-Assad feels for the support of Moscow, he takes a firm stand. So, all the new ideas of the State Department are nothing more than a rehash of old motives - to put pressure on the Russian leadership and drive a wedge between Syria and Russia. If this succeeds, then the Syrian president can be faced with a sad choice — either resignation and a “peaceful” transfer of power, or a forceful invasion. And then the US rhetoric will change again from the supposedly peace-loving to the frankly militant.
This is what Mrs. Nuland said: “When we have the opportunity to talk, we continue to negotiate with Russia in two directions. First, about stopping military and economic support for Assad, and second, that she join us in supporting that Khatib proposed on the issue of the transfer of power. "
So, a new round of US pressure will be on the Russian government. In fact, Russia is being tested for strength. They put pressure on the one who forever hesitates and hope for success.
The United States wants Russia to also act in two directions - no longer financially support Syria, and begin to incline Bashar Al-Assad to resign. Maybe they would have sent their special envoy, as in due time Viktor Chernomyrdin was sent to Yugoslavia in bleeding ...
So far, Russia has delivered humanitarian aid to Syria. Two aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the international airport of Latakia and delivered food, tents, electric generators and other necessary for the people of the country. On the other hand, these aircraft took about 100 Russian citizens, instead of clearly assuring them that they are in no danger of Syria and there is no need to leave it. While Russia has such a dual policy, the United States continues to hope for its hesitations and for the fact that it will bend in the direction that the State Department dreams of.
The question is, is the honor of Russia dear to its leadership? Are the interests of Russia dear to him? And is Russia ready to defend them? This is a test of strength for all of us. I would like to hear from the Russian Foreign Ministry a clear and unequivocal answer that the hopes of the United States are vain, and the peoples of Syria and Russia will always be together ...
In Damascus itself, for two days in a row, terrorists are launching mortar shelling of various areas.
On Monday, the Christian area of the capital, Kassa, was subjected to such shelling. One of the shells hit the inside of the hospital, another - in his emergency department. The third shell exploded in front of the Mauna School in George Hurie Square. Fortunately, there are no casualties, but the hospital and the school suffered material damage.
On Tuesday, the militants fired three shells from the mortar in the Tishrin district, and, as usual, exaggerating their strength, they issued this attack for shelling the President’s palace. In fact, one of the shells hit the Moissat hospital, the other went to the hostel at this hospital where the nurses lived, and the third burst in the Tishrin park, which no one has visited for a long time. There are no dead, but, of course, not without destruction ...
In the suburbs of Damascus Zhdeyd Al-Fadel, terrorists blew up a car bomb. Unfortunately, this time there are killed and wounded among the civilian population.
Every day, militants kill and destroy. And at the same time, Khatib still has enough conscience to play the peacemaker out of itself and pretend to agree to negotiations!
Last time I wrote about the frequent clashes among the bandits themselves. February 19 held another division of property between terrorist groups. This time - in the village of Tel-Kiliya in the province of Idleb. The collision was large enough and lasted two hours, grenades and machine guns were used. Three leaders and dozens of ordinary thugs were killed.
In the province of Homs, Syrian troops repelled two attempts by militants to invade the country from Lebanese territory and smuggle weapon. In the border town of Tel Kalyakh, whence at one time militants very often penetrated, there are fewer such cases now. However, on Tuesday such an attempt was made. As a result of competent actions of the border guards, the invasion was prevented, several militants were killed, the rest fled back to Lebanon. And in another place, in the Shamsin area, the servicemen detained two trucks with weapons and ammunition, which also traveled from Lebanese territory. In the course of the ensuing armed clashes, the gangsters suffered heavy casualties.
Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad held a meeting with a group of Lebanese political and public figures in Damascus. He stated that Syria would not surrender under pressure from outside.
"We are confident that we will win. This is evidenced by the political and military situation. Syria has the power of will to overcome the conspiracy," said the President.
He added: “This does not mean that all problems have been solved. We still have a lot of political issues to solve, as well as in the fight against extremist terrorist groups. But we are convinced that the future is ours. ”
The President also recalled that the majority of Syrian diplomats around the world remained loyal to their motherland, despite an attempt to bribe. “This proves the greatness of Syrian patriotism,” he said.
And this is the best answer to all intriguers in the US State Department, all those who could not resist the bribery and now make up the “Qatari coalition”, all those who have been trying to put the state on their knees for almost two years, but have only to grit their teeth for anger ...
