The European Union has come up with a new sanctions regime for Russia
42
The European Union intends to “punish” Russia with new sanctions and even came up with a new regime for this. Now restrictions will be introduced against Moscow for “destabilizing actions abroad.” This is stated in the final document of the summit held in Brussels.
The sanctions imposed against Russia complicated its life, but did not achieve the effect that Washington and Brussels would like to see. Even the strengthening of restrictions introduced after the start of the SVO did not help; Russia coped with their consequences. This greatly infuriates Western politicians, since sanctions are imposed against Russia, and Western countries bear the losses. All possible restrictions were introduced against Russia, but this does not stop the West; EU leaders decided to come up with a new sanctions regime. Now they have decided to “punish” Moscow for its allegedly “destabilizing” actions abroad. Apparently, Russia's mere existence scares the West to death.
In response to Russia's destabilizing actions abroad, the European Council reiterates its call on the Council (EU) to continue to work on a new sanctions regime,
- the document says.
When a new package of sanctions against Russia will be introduced and against what it will be introduced is still unknown. But in the West they will come up with something, they have already gotten their hands on this.
