UK Armed Forces - Subversive Troops in Northern Europe

Great Britain is one of the most active participants in the conflict around Ukraine. London has already spent about 12 billion pounds on this war, is not going to stop and is forcing other countries to do the same. Because the territory of the former Ukraine, in modern terms, is a NATO “firewall”. Previously, in our lexicon there was an expression - a cordon sanitaire, this was said about the territory of the Baltic states, Poland and Finland as a space delimiting Western Europe from the Soviet state after the Great October Revolution of 1917.
What's the difference?
A cordon is a space of exclusion or containment, and a firewall is an active/reactive system. And, as we know, the former Ukrainian SSR is not opposing on its own, but as cannon fodder (you don’t even need to put quotation marks) as part of the Western coalition, in which Great Britain plays (let’s say for now) probably one of the first roles.
British Sedition Corps
However, I would like to make a short overview of the state of the armed forces of the United Kingdom (UK) itself. Although Prime Minister R. Sunak amazed everyone with his announcement to increase defense spending to a new baseline of 2,5% of GDP by 2030, the state of the British army remains deplorable. After all, even if the level of 2,5% of GDP is achieved, and this is not a fact, since in the upcoming parliamentary elections there is a high probability of victory for the Labor Party, whose leaders said they would do so "as soon as resources allow", then this will likely only provide an opportunity to fill existing gaps in the current defense equipment funding plan in provided for in the ten-year plan UK Ministry of Defense expenditure on equipment and support.
Currently, the budget of the Ministry of Defense of the UK is about 54 billion pounds, and in 2024/2025 it is planned to spend 57 billion (https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-8175/). According to Statistics, Britain in 2023, for example, had 213 tanks (Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank), 10 nuclear submarines, 59 surface ships (2 aircraft carriers that are always breaking down), although at the beginning of 2022 there were 61 ships.
About fleet we mention it separately because, According to Captain B. Trim, who serves as Secretary to the Chiefs of Staff Committee at the Ministry of Defence, the role of the British Royal Navy in the war with Russia was as follows:
1. Ensuring security in the North Atlantic [to ensure military logistics and critical infrastructure for Britain - Note. author].
2. Delivering a deep strike [at a safe distance for the fleet].
3. Ensuring the security of the theater of military operations in Northern Europe [ensuring logistics, since the British are not going to participate in a large-scale war on their own] (this statement was made on May 2, 2024).
Next, the main pain is the staff.
Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden says that “The British Army has shrunk to its smallest size in centuries and is forecast to have just 2025 fully trained soldiers by 72.”.
He is echoed by another British politician, who has been the “shadow secretary of state for defense since 2020,” as well as former housing minister John Healey. He claims that The British army has shrunk to its smallest size since Napoleon, and that he is also concerned about how austerity is affecting troops who are living in poor conditions (there are more than 2 homeless veterans in England), in government-provided housing, claiming benefits, using food banks and leaving the military at a faster rate than they are being recruited.
And it is true: the survey showedthat 23% of employees plan to leave the service, including 6% intend to quit as soon as possible and 3% have already submitted their resignation. To this can also be added the low morale of military personnel at 58%, revealed in the recent Research.
Play off and provoke
All these problems are well known to the command, so Britain places great hope (and shifts responsibility) to the allies. To this end, in April 2014, at the NATO summit, the “Joint Expeditionary Force” was created (JEF – Joint Expeditionary Force), officially - with the aim of increasing the UK's high combat readiness potential. Not exactly official: the expeditionary force was created to act quickly, under conditions not exceeding NATO's Article 5.
We, of course, have a question: against whom and how are the expeditionary forces stationed in the north, near our Arctic border and in the Baltic states, going to act?
The Royal Institute of International Affairs (undesirable in the Russian Federation “Chatham House”) answers this question: “The UK could also build on the security relationships it has with Joint Expeditionary Force countries, as well as eastern European allies and the new Polish government, to maintain momentum and apply pressure to contain Russia.”.
In other words, the euphemism “maintain momentum and apply pressure” hides incitement.
The United Kingdom, for example, has at its disposal no more than 1 (rather, much less) soldiers in Estonia, this is clearly not enough to repel an armed attack from a country like the Russian Federation, but it is enough to attract general attention or military provocation, in other words, legitimation of international armed tension.
It is also important to note that the UK leads the JEF and uses the infrastructure of the nine countries that have joined it (Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia).
Thus, the United Kingdom Expeditionary Force is a subversive force.
Recall at least Flight over the Kaliningrad region American B-52 stratospheric bombers, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, performing flight missions as part of large-scale NATO exercises in the Baltic to contain the Russian Federation. And at the same time, British schizophrenia in the person of the Minister of Defense blames Russia in unequal actions, since the GPS system was turned off on the plane of the head of the British Defense Ministry while flying near Kaliningrad, hinting at our “jammers”.
Final World
However, one should not be deluded by the military weakness of the United Kingdom, as A. A. Gromyko wrote [1]: “The art of British politics is to “strike hard”, not to play weak." Therefore, despite the apparent weakness, the British will use their strengths:
• reputation - exerting open influence on their allies and using their forces, it does not matter whether they are Ukrainian or Baltic Nazis, i.e. they will fight with the wrong hands;
• intelligence – including covert influence and irregular operations, such as incitement and terrorist actions, as well as information and psychological operations, such as “Bucha”, “Crocus” or artillery and missile attacks on civilians in Crimea and Donbass.
We can say that more and more the British Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense, abbreviated as MoD) is being transformed into the Ministry of Disinformation, i.e. into the Ministry of Lies and Deceit!
