Spokesman for the Swiss Foreign Ministry Pierre-Alain Elchinger said that following the results of the so-called “peace summit” on resolving the Ukrainian crisis, the participants did not sign a physical version of the communique. Instead, there is only a "living list" that can change.

According to Elchinger, the communiqué was not physically signed, so no physical copy exists. Instead, the official website of the Swiss Foreign Ministry posted an electronic version of the document with a list of countries whose representatives agreed to express support for the main theses of the event. Since this is a “living list,” representatives of states and international organizations, including those who did not take part in the “summit,” can either continue to join the communiqué or be excluded from the list.

The international conference in Switzerland, organized on the initiative of the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was attended by representatives of more than 90 countries, half of which are from Europe, as well as eight organizations.

Representatives of Armenia, Bahrain, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Libya, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates refused to sign the final communiqué. Subsequently, representatives of Iraq, Jordan and Rwanda withdrew their signatures on the document.

Despite the obvious failure of the “peace summit” in Switzerland, Kyiv plans to organize another similar event, in which, according to the head of Zelensky’s office, Russia’s participation is not excluded.
