The Russian nuclear submarine Kazan and the frigate Admiral Gorshkov began exercises in the Atlantic Ocean

Squad of ships of the North fleet, performing long-distance missions, began training on the use of high-precision weapons in the Atlantic Ocean. This is stated in a statement from the Ministry of Defense.

The Russian frigate Admiral Gorshkov and the nuclear-powered multi-purpose submarine Kazan are conducting exercises in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean on the use of high-precision weapons. As part of the exercises, covering enemy ship groups with missiles at a range of up to 600 km is practiced; practical launches are not carried out; strikes are indicated by computer modeling. There is a high probability that there are American warships somewhere nearby, sent to monitor the Russian ones.

A heterogeneous tactical naval strike group of the Northern Fleet, consisting of the Project 885M multi-purpose nuclear submarine missile cruiser Kazan and the frigate Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov, performing long-range missions, began conducting exercises on the use of high-precision missile weapons in the Atlantic Ocean

- said in a statement.

Earlier, the Pentagon reported that they would closely monitor all actions of the frigate Admiral Gorshkov, as well as the nuclear submarine Kazan. In total, the US Navy command allocated six warships for this purpose.

By the way, this is not the first time “Admiral Gorshkov” has visited Cuba; the ship has already moored in the port of Havana during a long-distance voyage in 2019.

Six are only surface ones. No one can say how many other tracking means there are.

I searched through the entire Cuban press, there is nothing about Gorshkov’s visit to Cuba yesterday, there is nothing at all. But in Grannma, the newspaper of the Cuban communists, I found this. (“A children’s fairy tale crashed: Santa Claus is not real”) A Canadian military icebreaker will come for a visit friendship, on the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and Cuba. The parents of the current Trudeau were friends with Comandante Fidel Castro. Evil tongues say Trudeau’s mother was especially very friendly.

Fatalist. I just know that Cuba doesn’t have icebreakers and their sea doesn’t freeze.

There is no such class - Offshore patrol ships - ocean patrol ship (displacement 6600 tons), especially on the Canadian coast.

Damn... For those “observing” this is a GIFT!!! To know: WHO came to you and didn’t draw a portrait of him!? You must be joking! I am sure that among the 6 “shepherds” there is also a long-range observation vessel. And in addition to this, the coastal g/a observation stations will probably be vigilantly, 24/7, scanning the water area. Here we will see which of these teachings will gain more benefit for themselves. If “Kazan” can become “invisible” - it’s our victory. The Yankees will start scratching their heads. She won’t be able to, and she will be grazed like a cow in a pasture --- our naval officers will have to tell fairy tales and scratch their turnips: what is wrong again on our collective farm, and why is it so difficult to pick out a pound of raisins from a bun. I would really like for the first option to prevail... Then the Yankees will cool down at least a little and start urgently looking for a panacea for the 885M project. They will bombard Congress with demands for additional injections into the PLC, etc. Yes
And the second. The author is brave! I immediately determined the distance at which the ships would operate our corrals...
covering enemy ship groups with missiles is being practiced at a range of up to 600 km,
Damn....Where do you order Kazan to unload its CRBDs with a launch range of more than 1200 km? What if Gorshkov’s GZKR with D combat has 1000-1500 km loaded? What then do you order me to do? Withdraw the application for provision of RO from the Aerospace Forces/ and the forces of the Kyrgyz Republic???
Therefore - One should not forget a good rule: if you don’t know, don’t talk!
      AHA.

        Extra charges:
This was reported by CBS News. Sources of the publication claim that the multi-purpose nuclear submarine Kazan of the Yasen-M project is of particular interest to the American command.
...to monitor the actions of the Russian submarine, Washington immediately dispatched four ships. According to CBS News, Kazan will be monitored two destroyers and two ships with towed sonars.

NATO members, during exercises in May of this year, practiced launching nuclear strikes on Russian cities
Today's exercises are our move, quite predictable
      Why in Cuba?

And here you are writing about some kind of “electronic launches” (with modeling-pedaling!)... Take it higher!!! fellow

In short, it’s not a “demonstration of the Flag” by warships of the Russian Navy, but a joint naval exercise between the Russian Navy and the US Navy: “Caribbean Summer Breeze 2024”.... Something like this... In short: we’re somewhere, There we “electronically” beat, and they, “electronically”, search for us in the Caribbean.... To the “great” pleasure of both sides....

It is difficult to understand what pleasure the Russian fleet gets from this. :((
