Footage of the destruction of another American Abrams tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been published

Footage has been published online showing the moment of destruction of another tank Abrams, supplied by the United States to militants of the Kyiv regime.

On filmed drone Objective control footage shows how an American combat vehicle, moving along a country road along a forest belt, was hit in the turret, after which a fire occurred. Apparently, the tank received serious damage, since its crew did not react at all to the Russian FPV drone that approached it closely, circling around the vehicle and choosing a vulnerable spot for another strike.

At the same time, it is reported that, according to data provided by NATO experts, the Russian Armed Forces irretrievably lost about 22 T-90M tanks during the entire period of the special operation in Ukraine, while the Russian defense industry produced at least 400 MBT units during the same period of time T-90M. Thus, even taking into account the maximum values declared by the enemy, the percentage of losses of combat vehicles of this type does not exceed 10%.

For comparison, the militants of the Kyiv regime managed to lose at least a third of the total number of German Leopard 2, British Challenger 2 and American Abrams tanks delivered to Kyiv by the West.

Thus, the T-90M is the most “survivable” tank in the current theater of military operations, which is facilitated by the dynamic protection complex installed on combat vehicles of this type, which can significantly increase resistance against both kinetic and cumulative ammunition.

The first modernized M1A1 Abrams of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a barbecue and "Contact" was destroyed. Several units of modern American equipment were destroyed on the line of combat contact during the Northern Military District. Among them is the recently modernized M1A1SA UKR Abrams.

The enemy lost this tank near the village of Sokol. The Telegram channel “Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring” contains video footage made by soldiers of the 2nd Army of the “Center” group of troops.

Even the fact that it was equipped with an anti-drone visor, known as a “barbecue”, and added “Kontakt-1”, developed in the 80s, to the standard dynamic protection did not help the overseas heavy combat vehicle survive on the battlefield.

Ранее Telegram channel "Informant" posted video footage transfer of the Ukrainian M77A1SA UKR Abrams tank on the trawl of a four-axle MAN HX1. Apparently, after modernization, the combat vehicle is returning to the tank battalion of the 47th separate mechanized brigade. It is possible that it will soon be advanced to the line of combat contact.

Just yesterday my grandson sang in kindergarten:
      "Burn, burn clearly,
      To not go out.
      Look at the sky -
      Birds are flying
      The bells are ringing!
      One two Three,
      Last pair - run!"
      Nice song, huh?

In the video we see the “destroyed Abrams”, do I understand correctly?? Abrams is considered destroyed if the Armed Forces of Ukraine set fire to it?)) To call it destroyed is at least ignorant. Since the tank can be restored in the field. But most likely it will be recorded in the statistics as destroyed, but in fact it will most likely be restored.

During the entire period of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces irretrievably lost about 22 T-90M tanks
As I understand it, those captured by Ukrainians do not count as irretrievable losses)
The info itself about 22 is from here Dylan Malyasov. Russia loses 22 T-90M tanks that Putin calls world's best Date of access: August 9, 2023.

This Abrams became the fifteenth of 31 units, originally located in the tank battalion of the 47th separate mechanized brigade.

Shot down and abandoned M1A1 SA-UKR Abrams APU with anti-drone grill and d/z (ARAT-1 on the sides + K-1/Knife on the hull/turret).. 2024

“At the same time, it is reported that, according to data provided by NATO experts, the Russian Armed Forces during the entire period of the special operation in Ukraine irretrievably lost about 22 T-90M tanks...”
I can’t know these “NATO experts,” but only in the Oryx database there are 97 T-90Ms and another 47 T-90s of other modifications. The nameless author of the article should not have written this paragraph negative

You understand the term “irretrievably lost” - it is not subject to restoration, but if a tank, after hitting a mine, had a couple of rollers replaced, after repair it will go to the troops.

I understand perfectly well, there is a breakdown there: of the 97 lost - 52 were destroyed, 4 were captured, 28 were damaged and abandoned, 13 were damaged (it is they who can fight again after repairs, however, like some of the abandoned, if not they'll finish them off later). But this way it’s even worse with Western tanks, for us, of course. Because out of 38 lost Leopards and Strv 122, only 17 will be irretrievable, Abrams, respectively, 11 and 4-5 irretrievable. A sweet lie is more harmful than a bitter truth...

It is not visible that it has been destroyed. Something is burning at the back of the turret, but Abrams has a standard “basket” there, where tankers store all sorts of junk.

That's the whole point, that even the knockout panels didn't work. The second drone may have been destroyed, but this is not visible in the video.

Thus, the T-90M is the most “survivable” tank in the current theater of war,

If T-90s had been supplied at the same pace and volume as NATO tanks, there would have been nothing left of them long ago either.
    Completely incorrect comparison and conclusions
