Ukrainian citizens in a car with military license plates broke through the Hungarian border

In Transcarpathia, Ukrainian citizens broke through the Hungarian border in a GAZ-66 truck with military license plates. They acted boldly and confidently, showing “creativity.”

A Transcarpathian journalist reports this on his Telegram channel.

The truck had fake black military license plates installed on it. In fact, the car was civilian and was not listed on the balance sheet of any of the Ukrainian military units.

32 of its citizens left the country in this car. It’s easy to guess that they did this to avoid mobilization and not go to the front.

Soon after breaking through the border, Hungarian law enforcement officers found an abandoned car, in which at that time there was no one left. Soon, local police detained 32 people who arrived in Hungary illegally in a truck.

This was not difficult to do, since the Hungarian border guards already had information about illegal border crossings. First, they noticed the tracks of the car's wheels on a country road, and then saw from the cameras how the car entered Hungarian territory.

It cannot be ruled out that the efforts of Ukrainian draft dodgers will be in vain if the authorities of a neighboring state decide to deport them to their homeland.

Practice shows that there are practically no Ukrainian citizens left who want to voluntarily go to the front. And after the tightening of mobilization rules, many of them are trying to leave the country by any means.

Cross-country ability is good, but was it done wisely? I doubt it. Question for the Hungarian border guards. How can you find out from the cameras where the car came from? Share your knowledge. Or did the author put it that way? Then there are no questions.

I understood the essence later, but I couldn’t delete it. For some reason the cameras (wheels) got into my head. And as for the 66, I mentioned cross-country ability; it’s torture for the driver to drive such a car. Not to mention the speed lever. After hundreds of kilometers you feel like a disabled person, I mean military roads and not asphalt near the capital. I survived it myself.

66 was often used as a duty station, but in principle during the design it was intended as a towing vehicle or with a booth for various equipment. With the gun, crew and ammunition it doesn’t shake. It also doesn’t shake with a divisional radio station in a trailer with a generator.

A little better than in a loaf where the driver must be no taller than 60 meters. And when the bast shoes are 47 plus... Well, screw both of them. They couldn’t put the Valdai cab on a four-wheel drive lawn. It's more convenient there anyway. Although in Valdai the engine is also partly in the cabin - it is not convenient to pick the cylinder head. On a loaf, by the way, you can’t squeeze the clutch with the door closed - the steering wheel needs to be raised 5 centimeters up. And press the gas and brake 47 with a shoe... And this is in the summer. Height is also about 190 cm.

So there was such happiness in almost all parts of the USSR. Antifreeze was expensive and in short supply, not everyone had warm boxes in winter, but this was for basic equipment. The “duty room,” as well as the duty tractor, always stood in the heating box, near the transformer substation, next to which there was a stoker. Even in the garrison commandant’s office, the duty officer was placed in a warm box. I know and remember this from my many years of service. At first, our advanced team even stood outside, which on the one hand was even better than in unheated boxes. On the street, snow will drift under the bridges; they don’t freeze as much as in these boxes. It got ridiculous on the street -35, in the box -47, the pre-heater of the engine with the front axle was warmed up, you could barely turn the transfer case with the transfer case, warmed up, but the rear axles... They even tore the transfer case and twisted the cardan shafts. Well, this is after the collapse. When we went out once a year. there is no fuel - the equipment stood motionless throughout the frost, and here it is in mid-January. someone from the district is eager to see - “urgent departure”...

Yeah, that’s what happened in the first year of service (1987-1989). All nights we ran around every 2 hours to warm up the equipment because the ensign stole 20 of our cans of antifreeze and sold them to the local population. He was no longer lucky in the second season,
went into the store to trade again, but the canisters were gone - we confiscated them from him in advance in the summer wassat

Gasoline was also in short supply here, but diesel fuel was something to fill up. One of the reasons why we loved diesel. The second reason was the climate - in the summer it was +50 and all the rubber gaskets, cuffs, etc. on equipment crumble into trash. The membranes of all gasoline pumps resembled the “web” of the surrounding desert. It was not possible to order rubber bands separately from MO, just the entire fuel pump (immediately shouts: what did you do with the previous ones?)
PS it is clear that in your sub-zero climate everything was exactly the opposite; I wouldn’t be surprised if the diesel fuel thickened to the consistency of jelly.

Judging by the flag, you served in the Air Force? Regiment, OBS, OBATO, base? It’s just that 20 canisters is 400 liters = 2 barrels of liquid, which was specially registered at least until 2010!!! Which was very difficult to write off. Moreover, taking into account monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, unscheduled reconciliations, as well as inspections from various visiting commissions, at least one per week... The “ensign” after selling the first canister of this liquid would already be sick a month after the flight. And 400 liters of this not cheap liquid is already the level of at least soiling the base. Even now, with the complete transition of all equipment to antifreeze, considering that citizens are changing it from Remdizel, at most you can agree with the men for a liter or two. All replacements are clearly recorded. How much I drained - minus % for mileage. How much did you fill, how much was left, and why was there left? Everything is accounted for, with fuel and alcohol, you can still stir things up. No problem with antifreeze. even if it leaks from a torn pipe in front of the inspector, then you must prove that this pipe burst due to a manufacturing defect, and not because you did not service or replace it in a timely manner. So they will also attribute the multiplicity to negligence... I am writing this based on my personal experience.

But this didn’t even happen in the battalion’s garage, but simply at the RLG (Radio Location Group) point a little away from the battalion, about 2,5-3 km. What kind of checks are there, it’s almost like in the saying “there are 3 holes in the world Kushka, Termez and Mary”, if anything, then these holes were resting compared to us. The technicians at the point were overwhelmed; there was no garage even close. Each radar is equipped with at least two diesel generators. In addition, car radiators were also installed in the PPK (Receiving and Transmitting Cabins). No one came to us for inspections at all (who cares about radiation). One day, a general accidentally wandered into the final room and wanted to give a scolding for uniform No. 8 (we wear what we wear), but he didn’t have time - the school bell rang on the PRV-17 PPK, this is a standard warning that a high grade will be issued antenna. Of course, immediately amid laughter and our hoots, he ran away in a car, swerving in figure eights across the desert, dodging the altimeter antenna. We ourselves were afraid of him, and directing him towards our house made of foam concrete blocks was strictly prohibited. And in terms of the number of equipment, I alone had 4 Urals, 4 AD-10 diesel engines in a kung, 1 AD-10 on a single-axle trailer and 2 AD-30 in kungs + 1 PPK. And there were 10 people like me, many of them had more equipment than me and they already had AD-50, AD-100 and 200 kW twin diesel engines, so it was not easy to feed all this equipment, let alone control its completely unrealistic. Tanks with diesel fuel are buried underground, from time to time we sit and fill out logs for writing off diesel fuel, we try to do the maximum, and yet we have to dump it into a ravine from time to time - they will bring in another car of diesel fuel, and if there is no space in the storage facilities, then the acceleration: What did they save again by working from the network? what if the network disappeared? Always work only autonomously from your diesel engines! (their noise bothered everyone, and therefore they were not always turned on).

RLG Group. never belonged to BAO, BATO, OBATO. She was part of the OBS and RTO. Precisely to the Radio Engineering Flight Support group. The fact that the RLG group stands separately is no secret, but within the boundaries of the airfield, and in the most visible place, even mounds were specially poured under them so that they would be more visible. And don’t fill in here what kind of performance checks there are for equipment that supports flights. Almost all inspectors are required to travel to RTO points during inspections, and RLG, RSP and DPRM with BPRM will check, especially documentation. forms, records of refusals, measures taken, etc., etc. And the RLG group, especially after they were removed from the OBS in the early 90s, was generally loved very much. Although if your unit was a simulation training unit, then maybe you did not have such frequent checks as in permanent readiness units.

Perhaps your unit’s superiors were stealing left and right.

The authorities in the person of the Minister of Defense? Let's start with the fact that until 2008, such liquid as antifreeze and antifreeze never arrived at our fuel and lubricants warehouse. and according to the statements of all warehouses, not only were they not listed on the material register, both in the consumables and in the reserves, these items were not even on the list of fuels and lubricants and nuclear fuel allocated to the division. If you are not aware of the supply of the USSR Armed Forces, then there is no need to throw oats at people that have passed through the digestive tract of a horse. At Start with the tank crews and on Liana with the air defense officers, this never happened to us until 2008. Since 2014, all equipment has been switched to antifreeze. Even in ATI warehouses... And about the theft of antifreeze... It's like shooting yourself in the knee through the temple. I don’t know where and how, I’m writing how it was with us in 2008\9 we decided to transfer our advanced team to antifreeze, I was lucky, I already had a length of service like a mammoth, and after a couple of years, in theory, I was supposed to go into non-farm, or rather, plunge into the capitalist market. I did not fill the cooling system of my PRS with antifreeze. I didn't even bother to receive it. And after one and a half to two weeks, a trickle of fogging began in the cooling systems of all the cars of the advanced team who had filled in antifreeze. The cars rode on the water for almost 15-25 years. The pipes for this happiness were not ready; at least they would have been sealed with sealant. Yeah, at the end of October, beginning of November, at -12-18, someone in an open parking lot will remove the pipes and coat them with sealant, which has a minimum application temperature of +18-20, and most importantly, who will buy it at their own expense? But they reported here, we moved on . And then in November, start it up, start it up for warming up, start it all up beautifully, I’m the only one chasing the soldiers with buckets for water. But only the “antifreeze” ones started leaking from all the cracks, and I was the only one on the water who was combat-ready.

This whole chaos is not understandable in an army with buckets, in 42 there was Operation URAN in Stalingrad to deliver antifreeze for the equipment of that time, the frosts were severe, but here (here) it turns out that there is no such thing in our army (miracles in a sieve). In principle, I don’t know anything about the supply of fuel and lubricants, but the heroes of the army are known, one of them is the THIEF and PILDER of socialist property Abramovich is a friend or acquaintance of the Guarantor. He started by stealing gasoline in a military unit, succeeded and switched to a government unit.

Once the driver of our battery 66 drained colored liquid from the engine cooling. I asked why, winter was just around the corner. He says it is corroding the engine block. I don't want to bother with repairs. A neighbor who traveled more often had to disassemble the engine, and they poured antifreeze and water together. This was in 1972.

...yes, no one is missing anyone there in Transcarpathia...I repeat...they raked it a couple of times and don’t show their nose there again....residents of Transcarpathia calmly move across the border...and for a penny they see others off there.. ..this incident was published because it was massive...and small groups constantly move without fanfare

If they have dual citizenship, which is most likely, they will be accepted as refugees. In the Outskirts, men with dual citizenship were banned from leaving. Therefore, most likely they broke through illegally.

It cannot be ruled out that the efforts of Ukrainian draft dodgers will be in vain if the authorities of a neighboring state decide to deport them to their homeland.
. It was necessary to break through straight to Rwanda and nowhere else... there is no extradition from there!

To prevent the Hungarian authorities from returning fugitives to Ukraine, they must apply for political asylum. It will be considered for at least six months, during which time a way to legalize can be found.

32 people, on one shishag. They abandoned her and dispersed throughout the area. And then the valiant Hungarian border guards tied them all up at once.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Hungarians are lying, to put it mildly? The fact that there was a car is hard to believe. Just like the fact that 32 runners were caught. I can’t believe that it’s all interconnected the way they presented it.

Perhaps these are ethnic Hungarians, who are also being recruited by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, despite their dual citizenship. In this case, they will definitely not be returned to the country for disposal. Some ideological admirers of Bandera will be easily packaged up and solemnly returned. Let's see. Hungarians completely lack the Nach Ost mood. In general, it’s interesting that in the past, the sentiments of the Hungarians towards the Russians were similar to those of the Poles. Now, of course, there is no popular love, but there is practically no negativity. Hungarians are close to our values and Hungary has not accepted the main degenerate trends of the West. LGBT is almost completely prohibited; even migrants were blocked from entering the country. Regarding migrants, ours could learn from the Hungarians.
