“They will bring victory closer”: Japan supplied Ukraine with a large batch of vehicles

The Japanese government provided another aid to Kyiv, sending a batch of vehicles from the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to Ukraine. All equipment has already been delivered to the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the Japanese Embassy in Kyiv.

According to the report, the Ukrainian army received 101 vehicles. The batch included Toyota HMV, Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata SUVs, as well as PC-065b engineering vehicles. The equipment was delivered by sea to Poland, and from there it was transported by rail to Ukraine. In Japan they hope that this technique will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces “bring victory closer.”

According to the Ukrainian press, this batch of equipment is not an initiative of Tokyo; the parties agreed on its supply a year ago during negotiations between Zelensky and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. True, during this time some changes took place; instead of the announced Morook tracked dump trucks, the APU received PC-065b engineering vehicles. The shipment was also supposed to include 20 thousand food rations, but nothing is said about them.

In Kyiv they are very happy with the equipment they received; the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now having problems with transport. Moreover, the Japanese have already supplied Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata SUVs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine; they are well known to the Ukrainian military. The Kogata is a light utility vehicle produced by Mitsubishi Motors since 1996 to replace the Type 73 Kyūs then used by the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. The power unit of the vehicle is a 4M40/4N15 water-cooled diesel engine with a power of 125 hp. s., allowing you to accelerate a car weighing about 2000 kg to more than 100 km/h.

Toyota Mega Cruiser is a Japanese off-road vehicle that is a direct analogue of the American HMMWV. The PC-065B engineering vehicle is used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces to set up positions, clear areas and transport various cargo.

You might think that our design bureaus did not have access to these machines before. We have quite a few of these megacruisers running around. It’s a good car, despite its considerable dimensions, it turns on the spot due to the steered wheels of the rear axle, has a crab drive, some modifications even have the ability to turn and turn on tracks, when the wheels of different sides rotate in different directions.

Believe me - no, it wasn’t: only when they were faced with them in this situation, some “managers” had thoughts - to see how it works, not even to copy (as an administrative instruction to designers), but to see

Well, the problem is not a lack of access to a car, but a lack of interest in existing technologies. There's simply no one to kick

The most important thing: all our guys from reconnaissance, special forces and sniper units need to remember that in these cars the driver sits on the other side.

For the military, the fewer bells and whistles in the car, the more convenient...
Still, in the fields, it’s not in the city, it might be a long way to get to SerUs, if anything.

The Japanese are counting on the Ukrainians to make Bandera-mobiles out of jeeps.
        Vain hopes.
        Jeeps are stolen as always.

The Japanese government has allocated further aid to Kyiv
And these are trying to “bring victory closer” so diligently that the Kuril agenda has almost faded into the background for a while.
People in Kyiv are very happy with the equipment they received.
This is not even in doubt.

no.. not here and not so much.. these islands are of strategic importance.. I think no one was ever going to give them to them, except for 2 of them standing to the side of the ridge.. and they themselves understand this, just for the Jap nationalists - a topic for pumping up the electorate... like, in our opinion, “Give up Alaska.”

When will these ships start sinking in the oceans?..
Or, at worst, explode in the port while preparing for unloading.

How many stories were told on TV about our subversive soldiers. And where is all this?..

Sergey, don’t be so nervous and talk nonsense. You do understand that two people can play this game, right? And similarly, our tankers with oil and LNG, bulk carriers with grain and ore may “begin to sink in the oceans or explode in port.” Therefore, we must play by the unspoken rules that apply at the current step of the escalation ladder, and play with a cool head.

        7 June 2024 08: 17
As far as I understand, the United States has an order of magnitude more LNG carrier ships and it will be much more unpleasant for them if their ships begin to sink en masse

But if there are not enough eggs.
Then at least take the Ukrainian back. Disconnect from control via the Mask system. Attach the radio control. Load onto underwater transport. Then, right next to the ship, raise the back and sink this transport ship in neutral waters.
Difficult - probably. Effective - of course.
And the lives of the men on the contact line will be saved!

I looked in detail - they sell it on one well-known car website. I don’t know how it is for war, but somewhere in a rural MTS it’s a good thing. The gusli, again, is made of rubber - it is convenient to ride in the box for wheeled vehicles. I would recommend this to the chairman of our dacha cooperative for the common economy. If only it were sold nearby and inexpensively.

Well, for the Ukrainian Armed Forces it’s a looter’s dream.

The other day Japan bought a quota for red fish from us for approximately $4 million. How is that possible? It turns out we catch willow and mackerel all year round in the economic zone of Japan." Is that Petrovich?" The Japanese, like Norway, are trying to sit on two chairs. I’m still surprised that river boats and fishermen are still using marine diesel engines made in Japan, which is very strange, the USA is not welcome.

It is the Japs who pay us for the oil and gas that we supply to them from the Sakhalin 1 and Sakhalin 2 projects.
There they take their share of the profits through the natural division of oil and gas production.
They still want our lands, naively thinking and hoping to fight after Ukraine and Poland, third place, the Japs are preparing harder.
But both North Korea and China forgot about Kim.
And so their equipment will be burned at once.
These are not tanks or armored cars.

The Japanese have always tried for “them”; I hope they will appreciate the cunning Japanese samurai payoff. Although the automotive technology itself is structurally from Mitsubishi, there is no doubt about its quality. And then the equipment is first delivered to Poland to a certain local company (legal entity), and then goes to (to).

The most fun is the Morooka PC-065B, this crawler dumper with a crane. Okay, the lifting capacity is 3 tons, the crane is 2 tons. But rubber tracks, and through a minefield laughing laughing laughing By the way, in the Russian Federation they are sold, from 1,8 ml rubles to 3,75... depending on the year. But this canvas door... Although those that offer metal doors...
