The Prime Minister of Senegal announced the possible withdrawal of foreign military personnel from the country

Another former French colony on the African continent, it seems, seriously intends to put a final finishing touch to the struggle for its complete independence. This time, Senegal is going to refuse the presence of foreign military personnel, especially French ones, on the territory of its country. The new Prime Minister of this West African country, Ousmane Sonko, announced such plans during a meeting with the leader of the opposition left French party La France Insoumise (“Unconquered France”) Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the Seneweb portal reports.

More than sixty years after our independence, we must ask ourselves the reasons why the French army, for example, still uses many military bases in our country, and the impact of this presence on our national sovereignty

- Sonko asked a fair question.

According to him, the presence of foreign military personnel runs counter to the policy of self-determination and sovereignty of the state. Moreover, almost all Senegalese are in favor of expulsion, especially of the military personnel of the former metropolis. So President Macron will soon again have to admit the loss of complete control over yet another former colony.

On the website of the Prime Minister of Senegal, the following appeal is made to the states of West Africa, which still remain dependent on France, and to other countries of the continent:

France is the main source of poverty in West Africa. The flame of true independence has ignited in Mali. Let's extend this to the entire continent, where there was false independence from France in the 1960s. Fight and motivate France to stop all their plots, crimes and scams in all West African countries.

The departure of foreign military forces from Senegal will likely entail other measures, as was the case, for example, in another former French colony, Niger. After the military coup that took place last summer, the new authorities of this country not only expelled the French and American military, but also completely severed all ties with Paris. By the way, the Russian military came to replace the foreign military contingent in Niger.

The Prime Minister of Senegal also expressed friendly words to the Sahel states. There have been military coups in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, condemned by partners in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and Western countries.

As a result of isolation from former allies, the states of the Sahel region intensified military-technical and economic cooperation with Russia and severed ties with the former metropolis France. Foreign troops were withdrawn from these countries. Now the Russian Afrika Korps military is helping the Sahel troika fight the Islamist insurgency. Due to the fact that ECOWAS imposed sanctions against rebel members, they announced their withdrawal from the bloc and the creation of the “Alliance of Sahel States”, as well as the formation of a joint force to fight the jihadists.

I would even clarify that it’s not just us, but Wagner. They showed how you can truly fight the “rebel” gangs. The French did not want to properly fulfill their obligations to maintain order in the countries under their control. Yes, in general, they couldn’t, judging by the fact that these gangs created and supervised states in which the French themselves were subordinate.

The European Union “refused” Russian resources. And now he is being deprived of African resources. Where will the resources be obtained? IN THE USA? And inside the European Union there is a powerful fifth column from the countries it destroyed. good

We need to look at the Chinese; they have an economic component, like in Niger - uranium and oil underneath. The PRC and Benin have “settled” the issue, oil from Niger was unblocked by Benin and went through a pipeline to the oil terminal on a Chinese tanker.

And we must not forget the fishing zones. I had already left the seas for 7 years, but even then a large number of Chinese industrial vessels purchased from Ukraine and Russia appeared in the zones of Mauritania and Senegal. The Chinese were displacing consignees in African countries. Even in Luanda in the mid-2000s, the Chinese were untouchable. We walked safely, straight from the fish port to their bars at night, where the white man would die. Blackness was simply afraid of them.

I looked at the marintraffic when it worked correctly - the Chinese will catch everything from West Africa, there are tons of them there! I was in Luanda in the 90th, armored personnel carriers accompanied us from the airport to the port. And now the embankment of Luanda, this is at the price of the Cote d'Azur.

Finally ! Senegal wants to remove the French, previously the most dependent country on Paris. "Republic of Lebou," where Dakar was the capital of the short-lived Federation of Mali, but the French occupied it and made it their colony. And Senegal became their stronghold until the last

Sonko is now Senegal's most popular politician and opinion leader. In the recent March elections, the authorities did not allow him to run because of his criminal record (he was detained, but there seemed to be no trial), but he nominated his protégé, deputy in the PASTEF party, Bassira Diomai Faye, as a candidate.

Who won the elections and immediately appointed Sonko as head of government.

Senegal's Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko has spoken very well of his support for the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), which includes Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.

We will not abandon our brothers in the Sahel and will do everything necessary to strengthen ties and ensure our solidarity with them.

...Those who today condemn regimes considered military or dictatorial nevertheless tend to side with other regimes that are not democratic, until it comes to negotiations on oil or markets...

The internal problems of countries must be solved by the citizens of these countries.

Of course, there were coups d'etat and, of course, no one encourages coups d'etat, but I refuse to be part of those who analyze the symptoms and refuse to analyze the true causes of these coups d'état.
