Su-30SM for the Russian Air Force

55
My visit to the Irkutsk Aviation Plant was related to the transfer of 22 on November 2012 by the Irkut Corporation to the first two multi-purpose Su-30SM fighters for the Russian Air Force.

2. The contract for the supply of thirty Su-30CM in the period up to 2015 was concluded between the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and OJSC Irkut Corporation in March of 2012.

3. December 5 Russian Air Force crews overtook two Su-30SM State Flight Test Center located in the city of Akhtubinsk, Astrakhan Region.

4. As the official representatives of the Air Force note, the entry into service of modern super-maneuverable two-seat fighters Su-30CM will significantly increase the combat power of the Russian Air Force.

5. The first flight built by order of the Russian Air Force Su-30CM fighter made 21 September at the IAP airfield (exactly m = on my birthday!)

6. Su-30M has super-maneuverability, is equipped with a radar with a phased antenna array, is able to use modern and advanced high-precision armament of the class "air-to-air" and "air-to-surface".

7. In addition to solving combat missions, this aircraft can be used to train pilots for advanced multi-purpose super-maneuverable single-seat fighters.

8. The Su-30CM multipurpose super-maneuverable fighter is a further development of the Su-30MKI combat aircraft family.

9. Experts of the Sukhoi Design Bureau have adapted the fighter to the requirements of the Russian Air Force in terms of radar systems, radio communications and state identification, an ejection seat and a number of support systems. Also made changes to the composition of weapons.

10. The Indian Air Force pilots at the Su-30MKI conducted several dozen training battles with the F-15, F-16, Tornado, and Rafale planes of the Air Force of a number of countries.

11. According to unofficial data, the final score with all types of Western fighters is in favor of Su-30MKI.

12. 24 December 2012. During a visit to India by the President of Russia, a contract was signed for the delivery of X-NUMX Su-42MKI aircraft kits to India for assembly under license.

13. Thus, the total number ordered by India Su-30MKI reached 272. More than 150 of them already delivered.

14. Su-30CM super-maneuverability is provided by thrust vectoring engines. For the first time, this innovative technology was used on production aircraft of the Russian Air Force.

15. The Director General of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of the Irkut Corporation OJSC, is Alexander Veprev, Vice President, and Irkut Corporation President Oleg Demchenko, Hero of Russia, Major General Alexander Kharchevsky, meet the pilots of the Air Force who performed the first flight on Su-30SM.

16. Hero of Russia, Major General Alexander Kharchevsky.

17. Oleg Demchenko: “We worked for many years for export, and now we have begun to supply aircraft to our homeland. Today we give the Russian Air Force the first two Su-30SM fighters. It - historical an event for our team, for the Sukhoi company, for the entire United Aircraft Corporation.

18. Alexander Kharchevsky: “It is important that the Su-30CM is already in mass production and will be sent to the Air Force not by single copies, but by squadrons.”

19. Alexander Kharchevsky: “The Su-30CM significantly increased the combat capabilities associated with the detection and destruction of targets, and not just one, but several at a time. The potential of one such aircraft is comparable to the potential of two aircraft of the previous generation. ”

20. “The entry into service of the Su-30SM is a new stage in the rearmament of the Air Force. The capabilities of the fighters allow us to increase the combat potential of our aviation. To date, the Russian Air Force did not have an aircraft that would allow solving problems at such a high level. "

21. Alexander Kharchevsky: "At one time I dreamed of flying on this plane, but today this dream is becoming a reality for many of our pilots."

22. 19 December 2012, Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov and President of Irkut Corporation, Senior Vice President of UAC Oleg Demchenko signed a contract to supply the Russian Air Force with a second batch of Su-30M multi-role fighters. In accordance with the terms of the contract, Irkut Corporation, up to 2016, will build for the Russian Air Force 30 Su-30CM airplanes.

Frankly, I like the new tricolor stars, and why did Shoigu decide to abandon them? Indeed, in fact, the red star stands out most of all there, which is right because it was under it that our Air Force reached the peak of its glory and power, at the same time, the blue and white edging symbolize both the continuity of the development of the Air Force from the time of the tsarist era, and alas The union is no more and we live in a different country. Those. such a star combines all the periods of the development of the Air Force, but the red star, the same is the Soviet period, is still dominant. So even though I don’t like stools, three-colors are the right stars. IMHO

Before you write something, maybe you should familiarize yourself with the question? Google in the end, can you do this task? Shoigu decided to return the red stars to the planes again, as well as the camouflage color, but they will do it gradually, i.e. according to the regulations when updating the painting of the aircraft, so that for some time the three-color, as well as the gray color will still be present. Smart ass.

Maybe Max means THESE stars, tricolor? As for me, the Soviet ones are more to their liking - only diminish their brightness and reduce their size. And you can make contour, as on the T-50 (only not dotted (!) Is considered as an option), and not necessarily a red contour, you can also gray.

The pilots, in my opinion, are not old. Zhenya Averyanova is about 30, the second is somewhere closer to 40. So she’s the very age. There was an assistant behind the photographer who dragged the tripod, and there was no one else, although the event was significant, but in principle the situation is ordinary.

The brake flap was abolished only on the Su-35S, because this, according to the designers, is like a fundamentally different plane, albeit similar to the entire T-10 family. And the Su-30 is the usual modification of the Su-27 line.

Though I’m not an aviator (ordinary amateur hi ), but I’ll try to explain to you:
Firstly, the SU-35S is single, unlike the double Su-30MS. Those. Su-30MS is more adapted for shock functions. Plus, the possibility of training / retraining of cadets (Yak-130 is also good, but, you must admit, this is not a difficult Su).
Secondly, the Su-30MS is, so to speak, the intermediate link between the Su-35 and Su-34. The first is a fighter with strike capabilities, the second is a front-line bomber with fighter capabilities. In short, the Su-30SM is a clear representative of the fighter-bomber (with which the Su-35 and Su-34 are a stretch). Perhaps the Su-30SM will close the former niche of the 23rd and 27th MiGs.

In general, wait for the answer of one of the three Sergeyevs (Vaf, Serg, SSI). These aviation gurus will explain to you in two words, who of hu.

It’s a pity that the Indians are only 250 cars for us, and we are 60! Three-color stars are annoying me. And also the inscription-Russian Air Force. As if the identification marks do not show whose planes. If for foreigners, then it’s already in English ... Or obscene under the Americans- "us air force" so it seems they have a sense in this, after all, the navy also has a lot of things, that is, the navy flies a lot. And we cannot confuse the naval flags with the Andreev flags. And there are not many of them.

A little about the stars. There is practically no difference for the consumer, especially at the first stage. But for the production of "three-color" not in a "line" - the painting cycle of the product increases, and significantly, because colors are applied only sequentially. (the painting technology is such) And the color option itself is not technologically advanced.
