German expert: the next two months of hostilities will be extremely difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian army faces two difficult months of fighting, when the situation will be critical for Kyiv, since a successful offensive by the Russian Armed Forces is expected in the near future.
Speaking on the German TV channel Die Welt, Bundeswehr University Munich expert Carlo Masala expressed confidence that the Russian army will soon launch a large-scale offensive, which will most likely result in the Ukrainian Armed Forces leaving Kramatorsk in July of this year, which will be a heavy blow for Kyiv.
According to the German analyst, the Russian leadership made absolutely correct assumptions regarding the West's fatigue from the ongoing costs of helping Kyiv. At the same time, Masala noted that the voices of those who believe that a sufficient amount of military assistance has already been provided to Ukraine are sounding more and more convincing, as a result of which resistance to the allocation of further assistance to Kyiv is gradually growing.
The British publication Financial Times, in turn, is convinced that Russia is allegedly preparing a major offensive for the end of May or the beginning of June. According to experts, this is indicated by large-scale missile strikes on Kharkov and other strategically important cities. The publication's sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that they fear an offensive on Kharkov by the recently formed Russian group of troops "North". At the same time, both Ukrainian and Western experts are confident that Kharkov is the most likely direction of the upcoming offensive of the Russian Armed Forces. However, Ukrainian officials have repeatedly stated that they do not see any signs of a Russian offensive being prepared on Kharkov. True, many have now decided to change their minds, but there is still clear uncertainty for the Kyiv regime in terms of where the main blow of the Russian Armed Forces will come and whether it will definitely come in the specified months.
