Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee: The United States should begin supplying military aid to Ukraine with ATACMS missiles

US military supplies to Ukraine could resume as early as the end of next week. This statement was made by the head of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner.

The senator believes that the bill on financing Ukraine approved by the House of Representatives will quickly pass approval in the Senate, since they are already ready to approve it, and will also be signed by Biden. Thus, by the end of the week the first batch of American weapons may go to Ukraine. And if you consider that the same artillery ammunition is stored in Germany, then delivering it to Ukraine will not be difficult.

The senator also expressed a desire for the first delivery from the United States to send ATACMS operational-tactical missiles to Ukraine, which Zelensky has long been asking for. According to Warner, the White House had to prepare the missiles for shipment in the intervening months.

I hope when this gets to the President on Tuesday or Wednesday the deliveries will literally start with long range ATACMS

Warner added.

However, it is not yet clear whether ATACMS will be included in the first package of military aid or not, which should include artillery shells and air defense ammunition. This information was previously announced at the Pentagon.

ATACMS is already serious... I won’t be surprised that in an effort to maintain its hegemony, the West is ready to supply the caclopithecines with everything they can and cannot... Next will be the F 16, JASSM?, and tactical nuclear weapons... Maybe we’ll be the first to hit it, so that there would be no one to continue supplying weapons... am

Unfortunately, it’s not an MLRS yet, but its fist-sized size and coverage area are impressive. The Yankees' cars look no worse than after being fired from the Grad MLRS lol
And the little god also has other methods of controlling the hegemon, such as: hurricane, tornado, tornado and the like, which he uses exclusively according to them. It's time for them to calculate the damage suffered and... subtract from the amount they were going to send to the 404th and not anger God any more, otherwise some kind of "tsunami" might hit them, sweeping away half the coast laughing

Judging by the fact that the General Staff continues to build up mechanized formations, they expect that holes will appear somewhere in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Of course, a nuclear strike against the immediate rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense is the easiest way to create a hole in the defense. But there must be a sufficient number of mechanized units to get something there. I see this option as quite realistic.

while FPVs will circle over the heads of the RF Armed Forces with impunity, which in 404 are intensively attacking, incl. and with regard to resistance to electronic warfare, no deep breakthroughs are possible in principle

I don’t know, but I was taught that a massive strike from tactical nuclear weapons on the near rear and logistics hubs would blow the entire front to hell. I am inclined to believe such assumptions of Soviet military thought. I also dare to suggest that together with FPV operators.
I didn’t graduate from the General Staff Academy, but I believe breakthroughs can only be stopped by mechanized brigades. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have 2-3 real ones.

To strike with tactical nuclear weapons you need eggs. But, apparently, they are not. So, alas, this is purely a theory.
As for the operators, operators have been working outside the combat line for a long time thanks to retroslators. And there were no drones during the Soviet era. So this factor was simply not taken into account there

I don’t want to be a pessimist, I think it will come to the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
Regarding its effectiveness, no one has tested it in practice. But I believe that even without taking into account the damaging factors, the shock will be such that it will be effective. Look at the old Soviet chronicles of nuclear weapons testing, the spectacle is very impressive.
Regarding FPV, it's a good thing, but with serious limitations. A long fog set in - Avdeevka; there were showers, a hurricane - Mikhailovka and Bogdanovka. Building a defense only on them is a road to nowhere.

I agree about the shock. It will have a sobering effect immediately.
                  But application requires reputational risks.
I don’t believe that the leadership of our country will agree to this. The leadership of the Russian Federation quite calmly feels, against the background of the daily death of civilians, even on the territory of internationally recognized borders, “we are not like that”
And 404, if they are given tactical nuclear weapons, are also unlikely to confuse him.
Then they won't be able to play "victims"

These are already political issues. I don't know what politicians will do.
From a military point of view it will work, I am completely sure. And the number of civilian casualties will be minimal if used correctly.
The fact that the General Staff is preparing for maneuver warfare is also obvious to me. It speaks volumes that they launched the Volgograd Tractor Plant and began making light Sprut-SDM tanks there. How they are going to break through the front, I don’t know. You can bomb them with aircraft if they multiply your air force. But a simple solution is tactical nuclear weapons near the rear.

In tactical terms, what is the difference between tactical nuclear weapons and conventional bombs, but in sufficient quantities? Now the FAB-3000 with UMPC has been prepared, there is a FAB-1500 with UMPC. Given the power and accuracy of these ammunition against close rear areas, nothing else is needed; it is enough to ensure the density of such strikes. And when using tactical nuclear weapons, a conflict on a used one will dramatically change its quality and status. And it would be okay if we were already approaching the western borders of the used one and Lvov would have to be leveled and glazed for prevention and clarity. And so, in your own Donetsk or Dnepropetrovsk region, ruin the land?
But at the storage facility, such concern for the environment may not be shown.
Regarding the increase in the density of FAB strikes with UMPC, it is enough to imagine the number of Su-24M2 VKS in service, which are already equipped with equipment for working with such ammunition. We still have at least 120 - 150 of them in service. left . This, in addition to the already operating Su-34s, will be more than enough to break through any front to a sufficient depth. Moreover, to ensure such a breakthrough in a specific area, a few dozen are enough to organize continuous fire impact at the time of the breakthrough. To organize an offensive barrage of fire (similar to an artillery offensive).
As for the "Octopus" ... they ate at the Volgograd plant, and not in Kurgan and not to the detriment of the production of the BMP-3\3M, then ... it is possible to have an amphibious tank and will not become useless. But you can’t throw it from a parachute. And the price is the same as a new MBT (not from modernization) or even more expensive. But for amphibious landings and overcoming water obstacles by swimming, yes. Although, in my opinion, they would launch the “Manul” or even better “Dragoon” into series on the same assembly lines. It would be more beneficial. To support the landing on the bridgehead, such infantry fighting vehicles will probably be more valuable than the Octopuses. Although their combination will also be very useful.

I emphasized on this that to use it you need strength and means in order to take advantage of its advantages. It’s not enough to cut a hole in the front; you need to put something in it. What will turn everyone on is a big question. There really are three full-fledged mechanized brigades and that’s it. The rest are mechanized only in name. Its use for terrorist purposes will end with the end of Ukraine, the physical end, and in a very short time.

Next, regarding distribution. This is a bad story because it could accidentally end up in Iran or even the Houthis' hands. Then Saudi Arabia, Turkey and counting everywhere, including the Sahel countries. Latin America, Venezuela, Cuba...

For this reason, I don’t see anything terrible in the limited use of tactical nuclear weapons.

No, no, limited use is a mistake. They write correctly above - this will lead to the appearance of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Nuclear weapons must be used massively and the results must be used quickly - until the enemy is completely defeated.

to strike tactical nuclear weapons you need eggs

First of all, you need a head - solving with eggs without preliminary modeling is a gamble and quiet horror. Deciding with your head without brass eggs is Manilovism... “It would be nice to have a gazebo by the pond, but Chichikov, in addition to the puddles and potholes, did not notice the cozy ripples of water anywhere on the estate...”

Since the fall of 2023, daily reports on the state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shown a catastrophic shortage of shells and air defense systems. This is offhand - half a year, or 4 months at least.

This is a significant window of advantage for the Russian Army in the two indicated categories, which, as they wrote, will lead to an avalanche-like collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “just about.”

Unfortunately, this did not happen. And in my opinion, it won't happen. This is simply deduction, from the general to the specific. Rabotino and Chasov Yar are examples of this - these are villages, 12-16 square meters. km. Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are each ten times larger and better fortified.

Moreover, with the approval of the $60 billion funding package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the hope of changing the status quo, coupled with the inevitable strengthening of the moral component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, makes “just about” a wet dream.

Let's face reality: long and stubborn battles lie ahead, without a domino effect. And if colleagues have read the BBC factorum (at least a week ago) about the losses of the Russian Army, based on the accounting of military graves of Russia, this is a war in which on average 40 people die per day in defense and 160 people or more in the offensive.

God forbid that these calculations and conclusions are erroneous! But guessing from tea leaves what the additional nomenclature of arms and military equipment will be is pointless.

Your arguments and opinions, with your head not your balls.?!

              And then write comments.

Do our people just admire them and not shoot them down?

They shoot down, and what: 10 others fly in to take the place of those shot down. Even if it takes 404 5 mandrels to destroy one tank of the Russian Armed Forces, this is still very unequal. Apparently you didn't even know that. This happens when you only watch domestic TG channels, when they show the destruction of the enemy by drones, but for some reason it doesn’t even occur to some people elementary thoughtthat I'm playing this game together. And the enemy is far ahead of us in terms of technical equipment. Even more, they started using FPV much earlier than us.

And in general, ask questions to the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, who slept through the UAV revolution, even following the results of the war on 08.08.08, they did not draw any conclusions.
But even after Karabakh, what “experts” wrote that UAVs are garbage, turn on electronic warfare, they hit
And not only do they not fall, but they become larger, and even several communication channels + AI have become increasingly used, which makes it possible to make the flight completely autonomous and not pay attention to electronic warfare at all.

Otherwise, I see the Republicans have decided that they have nowhere to put the money, they’d better strengthen the walls and repair the bridges after Seryoga. The upper brain controlled the lower one, and that controlled the paws. So, if someone bit off the stegosaurus the lower brain, then the paws stopped moving, although the head was at a great height and even the neck with the eyes was still moving for some time, giving futile commands to move, screaming. Well, then the lower brain needs to be denazified together with inclusions. The address of the largest segments of the lower brain is Kiev, Kn. Ostrozhskikh St., 2, (the territory of the Arsenal plant) 84 meters down. Coordinates 50.442491, 30.543896. Landmark genre sculpture "event horizon" This bunker is connected underground with so-called object ChZ-417, located even deeper under Shelkovichnaya Street in the area of 12 houses, 93 m down (coordinates 50.444539, 30.532524,) 200-250 high-ranking worms are constantly tossing and turning in the pits, with about 80 Western supervising worms, the rest are local , spends the night in object ChZ-417 constantly and the Main Local Worm (GMCHZ). This adjacent object is popularly known as the “bunker of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.” Built in 1956. For the exact characteristics and coordinates of these pits, see the so-called 9 Department of the Moscow Region RF (inherited from the 9th Directorate of the USSR Ministry of Defense) The estimated consumption for each is 25-35 Iskander class missiles with a penetrating warhead.. Yes, it’s difficult, expensive, but.. absolutely necessary. (Daggers won’t work, launch that many at once it won’t work out from airplanes yet, and even if so many MIG-31s take off at once, the Main Worms, on a tip from their advisers, will understand everything and try to quickly crawl into the metro tunnels near the Dnieper). It is also necessary to synchronize the simultaneity of the time of arrival of the Iskanders with the time they are in the lower brain of the worms (well here we need Stirlitz, or observers on the fiber-optic communication systems coming from there, they become sharply activated when the Main Worms arrive and begin to have intercourse at depth. But the task of destroying the lower brain will still have to be solved, otherwise we will continue to lose our children every day.

In 2022-2023, everyone expected the West to enter into negotiations. The next step is the transfer of 404 tactical nuclear weapons and the official introduction of “peacekeepers” by NATO.

The West will go to the end, and none of the Kremlin’s dreams about an agreement will come true. They are also going to open a second front against Russia.
/Karina Stacchetti, former head of the political planning department of the French Ministry of Defense in an interview with Ukrlife.
“There are no limited conflicts in the modern world. A big war has already been unleashed, and this concerns not only Ukraine. We, Europeans, are all involved in this conflict.
At the moment, we cannot exclude the “second front” scenario. No one in Europe can allow Russia to defeat Ukraine; the opening of a second front is real and inevitable.
One of the hotbeds of conflict outside of Ukraine is destabilization and unrest in Transnistria, which could occur before November 5, 2024 (US presidential elections - note), which will make it possible to destabilize the Russian elites and population. Europe began to monitor the situation in Russia very closely.
Different scenarios will be applied, we must carefully monitor the internal situation in the country. Russia is exhausted, I’m not sure that new people can be mobilized, I’m not sure that the people of Russia want a long war...”/

It has already been written on the website that a strike on railway tracks is ineffective. The technical equipment of Ukrzaliznytsia makes it possible to restore damaged tracks within up to 3 days, even with broken turnouts. Priorities should be locomotive depots, traction substations, bridges and overpasses.

Well, that means they are already there. I have a question: if the States allow themselves to openly supply all types of weapons to Zalezhalaya and Israilovka, then why can’t we openly supply Iran with S-400s, the Houthis anti-ship missiles and Kim everything he needs?!!! What's stopping us?!

US military supplies to Ukraine could resume as early as the end of next week. This statement was made by the head of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner.
    ...

    It's not about ATAKMS!
The thing is. that for another 1 (ONE) year or more the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not have any special problems with weapons. So in 2025 we will read a similar article (if we’re lucky).

What can I say with the arrival of atacms, a lot will change, remember the recent attack on the Dzhankoy airfield, they will hit the logistics first of the airfields, destroying the air defense system, first a package of conventional missiles and behind them atacms where our air defense is located, they know the satellite constellation of NATO countries is many times larger than ours. Then the airfields will come with equipment and refineries of the nearest regions in the atacms coverage area. According to NATO standards, they will knock out our logistics. Or it is possible that Zelensky, like Hitler, once ran into Stalingrad, then Zelensky ran into the Crimean bridge.

    Nothing good.
Ukraine may receive about a hundred F-16s from European countries alone this year.
Of course, they will be supplied with hundreds of French and British-made cruise missiles.
And if the Germans with the Taurus cave in, then the Americans with the AGM-158 will also decide.
Such missiles will be able to reach even Moscow or St. Petersburg.

And if you consider that the same artillery ammunition is stored in Germany, then delivering it to Ukraine will not be difficult.

There is also a closer one:
    - Romania has 54 missiles with a range of 300 km.
    - Poland also has 30 exactly the same (in range), which ordered another 45 missiles more than a year ago.

The United States itself had about 4000 missiles of all types, and remembering how they prepared their Abrams for transfer to Ukraine (they removed all their “secret and advanced” developments), let’s hope that in the case of these missiles they will be the first to “ fuse" the earliest modifications.

The ATACMS missile launchers are the M270 MLRS (Tracked Universal Launcher) and M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.

In this regard, a not at all idle question arises, but how many HIMARS MLRS does Ukraine have?

The United States considers the number of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) transferred to Ukraine sufficient. This statement was made on August 8, 2022 by US Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl.

Kahl noted that Kyiv received a total of 16 HIMARS MLRS from Washington. In addition, Ukraine received three similar M270 systems from the UK and is awaiting the transfer of three more systems from Germany.

According to ukroSMI, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are armed with more than two dozen HIMARS, M270 and MARS multiple launch rocket systems. Moreover, according to them, not a single one of the received installations was destroyed.

And according to reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, as of August 2 of the same year, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces had already destroyed six of the twelve HIMARS MLRS. But since then there have been reports of the destruction of a further number of such installations. In February 2024, military expert Koshkin admittedly allowed a critical reduction in the number of HIMARS in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, although without providing specific data, since, according to him, making such a calculation seems to be a difficult task, because currently all information on them is classified both by Ukraine itself and and Western countries.

The US House of Representatives passed a package of assistance to Ukraine at 60,84 billion dollars, after the "Law on Additional Appropriations for the Security of Ukraine"

American money will be distributed according to the following scheme:
    -$23,2 billion - to replenish American military reserves, from which Ukraine previously supplied weapons;
    -$11,3 billion - for the current activities of the US military in the region (including training of Ukrainian military personnel);
    -$13,8 billion - for the purchase of weapons for the Ukrainian forces and the provision of defense services;
—$26 billion to continue oversight and accountability for aid and equipment provided to Kyiv.

    23.2 + 11.3 + 13.8 + 26 =74.3
