Advisor to the head of the DPR: Chasov Yar is losing strategic importance for Kyiv

Chasov Yar is losing strategic importance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, since the command of the Ukrainian army can no longer use the city as a logistics hub. This was stated by adviser to the head of the DPR Igor Kimakovsky.

Since 2014, the Ukrainian General Staff has used Chasov Yar and Bakhmut (Artemovsk) as logistics hubs through which the rotation of Ukrainian troops took place. Fresh forces arrived in Chasov Yar, while the battered ones were sent for reorganization from Bakhmut. Today, Bakhmut has long been under the control of Russian troops, and the Russian Armed Forces have already approached Chasov Yar and taken the roads leading into it under fire control.

Now, taking into account the fact that our troops are already located a kilometer from Chasov Yar, very serious problems are emerging for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, because this is a logistics hub, including warehouses, a fortified area, and supplies. Now virtually all roads are under our control, so for the Ukrainian Armed Forces this city will soon lose its strategic importance

- leads RIA News words of adviser Pushilin.

As retired general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Krivonos said the day before, the situation near Chasovoy Yar is critical for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the city will most likely be lost, but after fierce fighting. According to him, the fate of Bakhmut and Avdeevka awaits Chasov Yar. Let us recall that the headquarters of the then commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrsky, was located in Chasovoy Yar, from where he first led the defense of Bakhmut, and then the “liberation”.

Today, units of the Russian Armed Forces have come almost close to the first houses of the Canal quarter, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are building a new line of defense in the city.

So the greengrocer is ready to set up another fortification, what will be left of him... but will it work out, that’s the question?

I remember a ball already of one such figure who wanted to build fortresses everywhere and his name was Hitler.

In March 1944, “order number eleven” was issued, designed to stop the Red Army. In accordance with this order, “fortress cities” were created, or, as they were also called, “castles of the twentieth century.” These “castles” were divided into two types: “fortresses” proper and “strong settlements.” And Chasov Yar is probably more suitable for a stronghold settlement.

Actually, the main purpose of my comment was to show another parallel between Hitler and Zelensky.

Fortifications and fortified cities are not the same thing.

Of course it will work, but now the Russian Aerospace Forces are being helped not by NURS-8S, but by FAB-500 and even 1500. After a couple of dozen FAB-1500 units, any Kyiv fortifications are considered to have no strategic significance.

If only all of Ukraine would lose significance for Kyiv, it would be absolutely wonderful...
I hope the banking industry is striving for this by preparing its “reserve airfields” in the West...

If you really approach these hubs, then Kurakhovo and Kramatorsk are ahead. This is offhand. The near future (for a year). And these are very tough nuts to crack.

Now there is FAB-1500 and FAB-3000 is predicted. Even Koksokhim, with its concrete underground workshops, did not survive.

What remnants of resistance are you talking about? If I understood the translation correctly. Do you know how tense the whole situation is? What remnants of resistance are you talking about?

First, they should call it “Chasov Yar fortification,” and only then (after leaving the settlement) declare that it has no strategic significance. This is exactly how the script is laid out, block 95 is nowhere without a script. request

Chasov Yar is losing strategic importance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Yes, it never had a key significance. Neither for us nor for them
However, like Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) before that
It just turned out to be a place where two armies met
With the same success it could be Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka or any other city or settlement
What drastic happened after the capture of Artyomovsk?
We moved on to the next point on the map.
The main thing is that it is not to the east.

Soon Kyiv will lose its strategic importance for Kyiv.
Oh, we can’t bear this Russian Kyiv anymore, we destroyed the metro, plundered the Lavra, turned the people’s brains inside out, and coped with the task set by the owner.

They wrote to you in Russian - there was a Hub for the first line, now the first line has moved to Chasovoy Yar... Now the Hub has moved to the rear, and here is the LBS....
