Ukrainian officials: As a result of the strike, the Zmievskaya thermal power plant was completely destroyed

The Ukrainian side, after the usual statements that “almost all Russian drones and missiles are shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ air defense system,” switched to different rhetoric. Now the main emphasis is on the fact that Russian missiles still reach objects, including energy facilities.

Thus, Centerenergo announced that the Zmievskaya thermal power plant in the Kharkov region was completely destroyed as a result of the impact.

From the report:

All units of the Zmievskaya Thermal Power Plant were destroyed by the missile strike. Debris clearance continues. No access to most of the equipment. So far we cannot say exactly how much money may be needed for restoration work, as well as the time of work.

At the same time, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, who visited what was left of the Zmievskaya Thermal Power Plant, said that “funds for repairs will be found.”

Also in Ukraine, they announced serious problems that arose with generation after attacks on the Kanevskaya hydroelectric station, which is part of the Dnieper cascade.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine stated that from the evening of March 29, it was necessary to again switch to emergency power outages and introduce an hourly schedule “due to the energy shortage that had arisen in the Kharkov, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy and Donetsk regions.” By “Donetsk region” the Ukrainian regime understands the territories of the Russian DPR occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Let us recall that since March 22, the Russian Armed Forces launched a series of attacks on a number of energy facilities controlled by the Kyiv regime. Kiev stated that it is now “importing electricity from Poland, Slovakia and Romania.”

...you guys are evil, judging by the rusty air ducts, this station would not have been operational for long even without our influence.
In principle... this should have been done a long time ago, and we discussed this more than once last year and the year before.

        agree to negotiations

Negotiations are also possible, only with the condition of unconditional surrender of the Ukronazis, with the conditions for the return of all gifts to this under-country, the punishment of all criminals...

In general, we are doing what the Ukrainians wanted. They screamed about decommunization... The USSR built all these thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power stations... now we are correcting ourselves - we are cleaning up after ourselves, because there must be complete purity of the experiment: democracy does not tolerate another base, an exclusively neutral environment

And when did they manage to gouge Zmievskaya? Did you write about CHPP-5? If Zmievskaya (and it is the main one that supplies the Kharkov region) was covered, then Kharkov should be left without electricity and water.
The question arises: if they decided to cut off power to Kharkov, then why don’t they cut off power to Kyiv first, which is much more anti-Russian, where the entire military-political leadership sits? This is all strange, to put it mildly.

The Zmievskaya Thermal Power Plant suffered a massive blow on the same day as the Thermal Power Plant in Kharkov itself. From the very beginning there were reports that the strikes hit all the main power generation facilities in the region, as a result of which there was no light and water in Kharkov for some time. Now power and water supplies have been partially restored due to emergency generators and power flows from the western part of Ukraine.

The main mistake of planning the Northern Military District (in my opinion, and not only in my opinion) is just stupid “head-on” assaults on Donbass fortifications. As a result, we already have half of the breakthrough armored vehicles that we had at the beginning of the conflict. And it is still unknown whether we will have to take Kharkov or not. At the moment there are no funds for this.

It’s the autotransformers 750/330 (52 pcs) that need to be leveled, then there will be no interregional flow of energy. many of its regions are energy deficient and live only due to this flow. And then Geyropa will only be able to power Lviv, and maybe also the Carpathian region and the Odessa region. That’s it! Other areas - no. What to do? Ask for energy. From whom? In Kharkov, the lights are turned on in districts according to a schedule of 6-8 hours a day, so far only the residential sector and factories seem to have been severely cut off. It seems that private industries such as seamstress will move to the basements of residential buildings - where bomb shelters have not yet been equipped... it’s a pity that this is the case in Kharkov, and not in Lviv, Ternopil and other Kuyevshchina...
