As screwed to Krut

Legend has it that Hrushevsky, Petlyura and Vinnichenko are convinced fighters for the independence of Ukraine. In reality, separatism was announced only a week before Crute.

As screwed to Krut

From the memoirs of the participant in the battle of Kruty: “I feel like a yak, then I’m lost to my head:“ I lost sight! That is the third with me. ” Znova zachinivsya sharvarok, znu blastless "...

One of the readers of the newspaper Today, who sent his comment to our website, suggested calling it historical event "by the bike" Pid Krutami ". Like, there’s so much lied around him. But a bike is not only bullshit. In another sense, it is a fable. And a fable in its very genre is an instructive work, the task of which is to allegorically teach us a lesson. The battle of Kruty, as a trick, gathered all the typical features of Ukrainian history: cowardice, confusion, vanity, embezzlement, futile efforts of a few professionals to defeat these vices with a flash of heroism, their quick failure and the desire to hide their ends in water - under the muddy foam of PR.

There is a misconception that many researchers share that the “Project Ukraine” was a deeply thought-out special operation of the German and Austrian special services during the First World War. They say that Russian intelligence had to face just a hundred-headed hydra grown in Galicia in the laboratory of the black genius of Metropolitan Sheptytsky! Alas, the ridiculous truth is that this Austrian cavalry officer of Polish origin became “Ukrainian” only because he fell off a horse and, because of his injuries in the most important place for a man, was forced to change his uniform for a cassock. He was anything but a genius.

Sinezhepanniki. The glorious warriors fled home soon after their arrival in Kiev in the spring of 1918

All the other fathers of independence turned out to be the same "eunuchs". Take at least the same Grushevskogo. Best of all, he managed to build houses and mobilize his students to write the multivolume, incompatible work “History of Ukraine-Rus”. Until the end of his life, Grushevsky did not learn to really speak Ukrainian. The language of his Ukrainian works is dead. When you read his Ukrainian-language works, it seems that he writes in Esperanto. His texts written in Russian leave a completely different impression. Immediately obvious - this language is native to him. Hrushevsky spoke Russian in the family, in the gymnasium, at the university. And the “Ukrainian right” turned out to be just a job for him - exactly the same as for some current grant eaters. The future professor simply did not have a place in the department of Russian history at the Kiev University of St. Vladimir, and he went abroad - to Lviv, where, due to the lack of local cultural personnel, there was a free professor’s position. Few people remember that the article in which he first called Galicia "Ukrainian Piedmont" was written in Russian and published in St. Petersburg in 1906 year - for royal rubles!

Legend has it that Hrushevsky, Petlyura and Vinnichenko are convinced fighters for the independence of Ukraine. What plans of this struggle they hatched for decades. In reality, the only supporter of Ukraine’s independence was, until 1918, only the eccentric Kiev lawyer Nikolai Mikhnovsky, the author of “Independent Ukraine”, published in Lviv in the year 1900. But even Mikhnovsky tried with all his might to conceal his "independent acts" from the tsarist government. His brochure was published anonymously. The general public did not know him at all. More precisely, she knew only as a rowdy who had beaten off his wife from his boss. Idealistic love for Ukraine did not prevent Mikhnovsky from conducting the entire world war as a military prosecutor in Kiev.

Hrushevsky most of all dreamed of getting a state professorial pension from Austria

Both Simon Petlyura, and Grushevsky, and Vinnichenko, and the whole Central Rada were federalists up to January 22, 1918, when the IV Universal came out. The maximum that they claimed was the autonomy of Ukraine within the Russian Democratic Republic.

While in Petrograd their political friends, the Freemasons of Kerensky and the company, were in power, such a federation seemed quite possible. Both the Provisional Government and the Central Rada spoke the same political language. They dreamed of a Constituent Assembly and endless discussions, and the future history was seen as intellectual gatherings. Only not in the kitchen, but in the parliament. Everything changed the coup 25 of October (7 November to n. Art.) In Petrograd. The arrival of the Bolsheviks - tough and resolute people - showed that discussions are canceled. But after that, it took two months for the yellow-blue parrots from the Central Council to figure out: it's time to take independence!

The battle near Kruty occurred on January 29 1918 of the year - just a week after the adoption of the Central Rada IV Universal, which proclaimed independence. It is surprising that at least someone rode Kruta! There was simply no time left for “mobilization” and preparation for war.

People often ask why Ukraine failed at the beginning of the 20th century? After all, Finland, Poland gained independence. Yes, and Lenin managed to seize almost the entire former Russian Empire, although in the past not a single day was in the public service. The thing is that between Pilsudski and Lenin, on the one hand, and Grushevsky and Petlyura, on the other, there was a fundamental difference. Pilsudski is a gangster. During the years of the Russian-Japanese war, he managed to get as far as Japan to beat out money for terrorist attacks against the Russian government. Pilsudski personally led the train raids! Lenin also did not direct the institution of noble maidens, but a gang of the most dangerous thugs. His young assistant Comrade Stalin took the banks! Dzerzhinsky cut the throat of a policeman was easier than you and me chicken. This tubercle was shooting hundreds of people, and no one ever heard that after that he was tormented by nightmares. "Iron" Felix was truly iron. The only one who was not afraid of him was Koch’s wand. And Vinnichenko in his entire life learned to command only his wife Rosa. And even students were frankly laughing at Hrushevsky. Bearded, in galoshes, always afraid of colds - is this the leader? And even Petliura, before learning to shoot, had to undergo a long evolution from the editor who published the Russian-language magazine Ukrainian Life to the “dictator” of Ukraine before the revolution in Moscow, which in fact it will become only a year after Krut!

"Leaders" of Ukraine. In the center - Prime Minister Vinnichenko. Far right - Minister of War Petlura

Finland was fully prepared for independence. Until 1917, this is a completely formed country with its Sejm, political parties and currency - the Finnish mark. Only the common emperor connected her with Russia. As soon as the first revolution overthrew the king, the separation of Finland became a matter of time. What was missing was the formality. Before the 1917, Ukraine existed in the minds of only a few dozen more or less intelligent people.

In 1903, a monument to Kotlyarevsky was opened in Poltava. All the “conscious Ukrainians” that were available at that time went there from Kiev. We rode the train. Someone joked that if the train crashes, then the whole Ukrainian movement will end there. The audience laughed. But the phrase did not mean that the whole train consisted of some “Ukrainians”. If one were to assemble them in one place from this train, there would hardly have been more than one car!

The Red Guards at Kruty. Reconstruction of the club "Red Star" shows both sides of the conflict

Lenin all his life before 1917 year calculates options for his invasion of active politics. His articles show the passion with which he follows events and tries to predict their development. He left a great theoretical legacy. He possessed the instinct of power and already in the era of the first party congresses he managed to knock together a group of loyal energetic comrades - that same famous Council of People. Sverdlov, Kamenev, Stalin, even the “Judah” Trotsky are all brilliant personnel records of Vladimir Ilyich. They, like dogs, had to be untied - they would tear.

The nominal head of the Central Rada of Grushevsky against the background of these red guardsmen of the revolution is just an old barrel with rotten cabbage. Do you know what he dreamed about before the First World War? Serve an Austrian professorial pension in Lviv and quietly resign. I repeat, he never dreamed seriously about the independence of Ukraine! For him, it was a way to make money and originate against the background of dozens of ordinary "loyal subjects" professors. When the story called him, he was not ready, like a bad student for the exam.

But maybe the people were different? Our bottoms are used to throwing everything to the top, forgetting that the "cream" is made from milk. What kind of milk - such and cream. Necha blame the mirror, if the face is crooked. What was the "face" of the then Ukrainian people?

In the memoirs of Petliura general Yur Tyutyunnik there is an episode, as in 1917, he decided to form a “Ukrainian” regiment. For this, within the framework of the policy of Ukrainization, which was carried out by the Provisional Government and the Central Rada, recruits from the Poltava, Kiev, Chernihiv, Volyn, Kholmsk, Podolsk, Kherson, Ekaterinoslav and Kharkiv provinces were selected. In general, from all over Ukraine. I quote literally:

“It hurt up to seven thousand. In my opinion, I zaproponuv:

- Who are you, Ukrainian, podnesіt hand to burn!

Not three times the hands.

- Little Russians! Give hands!

The hands of Kolo half of the presence.

- Hahli! Give hands!

Znov pіdnesla hands good tretina.

- Ukraїntsі, malorosi and hahli! All at once pіdnesіt hands!

Ponad heads kіlkatisyaknoi ї рrbi pіdnіsssya lis hands.

So, out of seven thousand people who arrived to Ukrainize (this is a very decent sociological sample!), In the 1917 year, only three hundred Ukrainians identified themselves as Ukrainians! Pathetic 4,28 percent! The rest considered themselves to be Ukrainians, Little Russians - by anyone, but not Ukrainians. This is the real picture of what we call the national consciousness of the masses.

Jammed damn piece of iron! And in 1918, the headquarters also ran off drunk

During the First World War, the Austrians tried to form military units against Russia from the same prisoners "Ukrainians", "Little Russians" and "Ukrainians". Nothing succeeded. The head of the Austrian intelligence, Max Ronge, was forced to state: "These prisoners were interested in socialist ideals, but by no means national."

Although officially at the time of the battle at Kruty, the power in Kiev belonged to the Central Rada, but for the most part the population of the “capital of Ukraine” was either red or white. Podol and Arsenal controlled the Red Guard detachments. All the forces of the Central Rada were sent to suppress the Kiev uprising of the Bolsheviks, who enjoyed great support from the lower ranks of the city. Therefore, a tiny detachment was sent to Kruty, right up to the notorious student platoon, captured by ants.

To tell the truth, in Ukraine in 1918, the struggle between several political projects unfolded. Red, white, yellow-blue and black (anarchist). Three of them, one way or another, were focused on a united Russia. Only saw her in their own way. Against this background, the weak Ukrainian project had no chance. It was not for nothing that he was perceived as operetta. The lack of seriousness was already in the names that the Kermans offered to the people. For example, the Ukrainian army began with the “Vіska Ukrainian Club of Hetman Polubotka,” which was invented by Nikolai Mikhnovsky. Think about what kind of associations a normal person causes the word "club"? A place where they drink and walk! So it happened in reality. As the participants in the battle of Kruty recalled, their command was overwhelmed before the battle and jerked from the station on the train at the very first shots, leaving the fighters without cartridges. The train with the commanders had to catch up on the loose snow. You can imagine what speed the Ukrainian junkers developed, if they nevertheless caught up with this staff! And with machine guns that dragged on themselves.

Not without reason, these memories did not come out from the same 1918 of the year when they were published in the Kiev Military Science Bulletin. Here's how this heroic story sounds in the original: “Dovgo rose didn’t turn, the year’s return on 2 of the day was returned by the head of 2-oє, where the reshta dilosi - nevidomo i said, the Bolsheviks are advancing. Yak I feel tse, then I am lost in the head: “disappearing around! That is the third with me. ” Znova zachinivsya sharvarok, Znova bezgluzdya, Znova vse otltsі, bіlsh yak half, pіshli on linіyu, Mayuchi on 1 th clip naboiv. Nykhto without turning uvagi on those scho headquarters pulling out of the station already lit up !!! from the headquarters of the two officers ofits-art-ours and our centurion, the headquarters efforts were carried out by a little girl and young people, before the headquarters they rushed into the middle of the battle for the tools, the ale yogo and the next idle

If, fortunately, Ukrainian myth-makers were lucky, the Bolsheviks would not capture a student platoon that did not participate in the battle along with the nephew of the Foreign Minister of the Central Rada, Vladimir Shulgin, and not break it, Kruty would have remained only a banal exchange of fire followed by a drape. Young people want to make war. But in war they kill. It happens. Nothing can be done about it. Moreover, the young people are killed the more, the slower the brains of adults at the top move their brains. It is not for nothing that the memoirist, already mentioned by me, called that event “bikoy pіd Kruty without patrons”. And if to be completely accurate, then without brains. Until Krut tightened. And now get out - for almost a hundred years.

Yes, we don’t need equality ... Just end the war and bring the peasants back to the women ... so that we live like before the war ... That was the basis for the policy of the Greens ... Hit the Reds until they turn white, hit the Whites until they turn red ... And in translation, fight somewhere outside our villages, and we will live ...

Oh, how great !!! Another lesson of the Russian version of the history of Ukraine ... The only true and immutable. Other versions are not accepted, because judging by the colorfulness of the narrative, the author was there personally everywhere. Anyone who tries to refute is automatically recorded in the sheep "and" traitors "... Any attempt to write such a thing about Russian history (there are a million of such moments) is branded as treason, and by the hand of Washington smile

      Vital 33,
It is not necessary to bliss if only adult men were conscripted into all armies, half the wars simply would not have happened. And then children, children, the rifle shoots regardless of who pulls the trigger, a woman, a child or someone else, took it in hand weapon, you are a soldier, kill, or they will kill you. The more shame on the heads of the "samostiiniks" who did not disdain to hand weapons to children.

Yes, there were guys 16-18 years old, high school students and students, whose heads were bullied. However, the fact remains. They fought as best they could. In this case, shame on "commanders" and "government". It was not for nothing that they said: "In the carriage there is a directory, under the carriage there is a territory" That's all "independent Ukraine"!

Nonsense, this is when Ukraine has repackaged the history of whitewashing the villains as "heroes" (because there are no heroes of its own apart from together with Russian military glory! But I really want it! There are only its own shameful treacherous pages of history. What it does now is TRAITING) is when "patriots" like you start to deny the obvious offended! Then, one cannot do without the crazy ideas of "independent". It's hard for you to admit that the country that you consider your homeland is behaving vile. Not nice, but true.

Only this self-styled man returned to the USSR and plowed for the Bolsheviks, thrusting his self-styled ideas into the anus, and plowed so well that he became an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR! That's all ... and the whole story of the "fighter for independence" ...

Sergey is a plus. I myself have a bunch of questions about nonsense from the series "which were all cool under the Cool". Even from a tactical point of view, all these descriptions are complete nonsense. A platoon (even 40 people and with a field gun) cannot stop a brigade. And the regiment cannot stop. The battalion might notice him, but not for long. This platoon will simply be showered with caps. Even with corrections for the carelessness of Muravyov's army (not to mention the degree of sobriety, as some sources mention). The maximum damage they could inflict was 200 corpses. Provided that a platoon of snipers was on the defensive. And songs about the fact that there were children on the defensive - the usual concomitant with an attempt to justify their own bungling and brainlessness. Any body moving around the battlefield with a weapon is an enemy. And the sooner you move it into the category of "irrecoverable losses", the longer you will live. It is felt that the fairy tale "Bey by Kruty" was abruptly processed by "historians from the war" who do not even have a military education or seasoned students of the Military-Political Academy named after IN AND. Lenin (by the way, professionals who need to look for)

In troubled times on the water surface you yourself know what is emerging. At that time Kiev was a Russian city, moreover, overcrowded with those who fled from Great Russia from the Bolsheviks. It was corny for the officers to spit on the "Ukrainian project" after 4 years in the trenches; they simply ignored the mobilization. In addition, Kiev was attacked, albeit by the "red", but Russian, and not incomprehensible Galician-Ukrainian units. By that time, the emperor had abdicated the throne, and in the eyes of the officer corps, the "red" had relative legitimacy, in contrast to unknown figures with a funny "mova", chosen by several hundred onlookers in the circus. But youth is prone to exalted heroized acts, especially if the weapon in hand to give. The military professionals banally ignored Muravyov's advances, not wanting to participate in the fratricidal conflict, preferring good brandy on the train to shooting. And the students went to act as heroes against the front-line soldiers who had gone through the war, as a result of which a couple of dozen soldiers were laid down. But rrrrevolution needs heroes, so the myth was born about the "three hundred Spartans" who tried to stop the hordes of Muravyov near Kruty, and a banal skirmish turned into an epic battle such as the Battle of Cannes. And by and large, the meanness, or worse, was committed by adult politicians, who sent the boys to certain death without any sense. Tsentralnaya Zrada was supposed to answer for this nonsense, but instead organized a magnificent funeral with speeches at Askold's grave. And the Cool were just the beginning. The entire history of the Civil War in Ukraine is a chain of nonsense, betrayals, and weirdest alliances. And this war ended only in the 50s, when the proud Hutsuls, who from day to day were waiting for the arrival of NATO liberation troops, were "pacified". What is sad, and now many in Ukraine hope so. They should wear T-shirts with the slogan "Remember the victims of Cool".

Interesting article with analysis of details on this subject:

... The Central Rada leaders relied on their own army - the so-called Ukrainian regiments. But as combat units, these regiments existed exclusively on paper. Initially, they were formed from a very unreliable contingent - deserters. In the course of the general collapse that began in Russia after the February Revolution, a huge number of soldiers appeared in the rear, who in every possible way evaded military service. They were very afraid of sending to the front line. The slogan “We won’t go to the front until Ukrainian military units are formed from us!” I liked them very much. In droves, deserters declared themselves Ukrainians, which caused great enthusiasm in the Central Council.

The Chairman of the Rada Mikhail Hrushevsky and his associates perceived what was happening as "an awakening of national consciousness in the Ukrainian soldier masses." More sane people already noticed that these newly-minted "Ukrainians" were ready to declare themselves to be even Chinese, if only not to return to the trenches. But who then in the Rada listened to the voice of common sense?

Naturally, when the Ukrainian units were formed, they did not go to the front. Now deserters have announced that they remain in Kiev to guard the Central Rada. The regiments took loud patriotic names (Shevchenko's name, Doroshenko's name, Grushevsky's name, etc.), willingly participated in parades, gathered for rallies, where, of course, they unanimously voted for resolutions in support of the Rada. And the leadership of the latter took everything at face value.

Enlightenment came too late. As soon as the love for “Nenko-Ukraine” had to be proved not in words but in deeds, the deserters fled to the end. Echelons sent to the front against the Bolsheviks arrived at their destination empty.

The Central Council was left without protection. She could not count on the support of the population. Grushevsky and his comrades did not use any authority among the people. “A gang of fanatics, without any influence” - this was described by the French consul in Kiev (and part-time resident of the French intelligence) Emile Enno.

Only a small group of students from two Kiev universities (St. Vladimir and Ukrainian National), as well as one gymnasium, did not dare to disobey such power. Of course, most of them did not experience any “patriotic upsurge”. But when a handful of politicking gorlopans made a meeting, demanding that everyone sign up for Student Kuren (and whoever doesn’t sign up - boycott and expulsion from educational institutions!), No one dared to protest. Students and gymnasium students obediently recorded.

However, at that time it seemed that joining a kuren did not pose any danger to enrolled schoolchildren. The authorities vowed that this unit would not be sent to the front, but would use it exclusively to maintain order in Kiev itself. Indeed, the youths were not even taught to handle weapons. They were placed in the building of the former military school. There, the “recruits” spent most of the time lounging, only occasionally doing drill-down training (they learned the commands “to the right!”, “To the left!”, Etc.). After dinner, they were allowed to go home overnight. Thus, service in the kuren turned out to be not burdensome, and even made it possible to live at state expense. Someone probably liked it. But this lasted only a week ...

VO Liberty called on Ukrainians to prepare for an armed uprising.
      http://polemika.com.ua/article-109197.html#title
The widely announced Freedom march took place in Kiev, timed to coincide with the day of the Battle of Kruty. “At seven in the evening about 500 supporters of the VO Svoboda gathered on Independence Square. The flags of Ukraine, the UPA and Svoboda are flying above them.
The people are in an unorganized crowd, piled in piles. Some have masks on their faces. Several adult men sing along to the guitar, dancing:
"The river Tisza, in the new Moscow shelter,
If we beat, let us beat the dreams.
There pіd Lviv castle a birch cross,
And on that cross is the golden Trident. "

The speakers spoke more not about the Battle of Kruty, but about the fact that "Svoboda" is the best political force that will protect the national interests of every Ukrainian. What will happen to other nations was not specified. but the speakers were kind toOmandira Heroes Krut Averky Goncharenko, who, according to many historians, threw a binge while those same heroes were dying, and fled the battlefield when he saw a threat to his life. Later, during the Second World War, he fought on the side of Hitler in the ranks of the SS "Galicia" ...
Most of the attention was paid to the future seizure of power by force, which, according to Svoboda, will take place in a foggy "nezabar":

      And here is other information
Antifascists burned a red and black flag while Svoboda members shouted slogans
In Odessa, anti-fascists burned a black and red flag near the building of the National University. Mechnikov. This was reported by the polemic correspondent.

As far as everyone knows, the first mention of Ukraine (as a place, and not as a state) was used by geographers in the 18th century and they called it then simply "The edge (ie border) lands of the Russian Empire". Ukraine is Rus. Those. Ukraine (even as a concept) did not exist until the 18th - 19th centuries.
By the way, it’s still interesting: after deciphering the genetics of Russian and Ukrainian, there’s no difference, but there are some with the Poles, but it’s very miserable.

At the expense of the Crimea, not quite so, it seems to you that they took him away. I will explain that the vast majority of Great Russians live there and the battle-worthy fleet stands there. But you, as part of the Russian nation in Crimea, have exactly the same rights as the Great Russians, but not individually, but as common property, which is actually the case now. Zaporizhzhya Cossacks are not cowards and scum, but great warriors, but they have nothing to do with Ukraine, they did not call Ukrainians in any document. It was the Zaporizhzhya Army, something in all the regiments and was magnified. The so-called reunification of Ukraine with Russia is nonsense, it was the annexation of the Zaporizhzhya Army and its cities and lands to the Russian kingdom, which is confirmed by a letter from Hetman and the decision of the Zemsky Cathedral.

The Ukraine project (generally successful so far) is a project to dismember and weaken the Russian people, designed and implemented by one of the oldest centers of evil in the world, it’s not Berlin or London, well, it’s not the Warsaw princess, it’s the brainchild of the Vatican. Catholic Poland and Austria-Hungary were papist performers. And the fault line is on - the Uniate. In principle, under the leper Yushchenko, there was practically a pre-war situation, though the ruined army and Galich sailors were not capable of anything at all, but nonetheless. When the centers of evil, such as Wahhabi Saudi Arabia and Masonic London, will be eliminated, we must not forget about the Vatican, it is impossible to erase from the face of the Earth because of Michelangelo’s creations, but it’s absolutely necessary to break into the GRU special forces and arrange a demonstration massacre.

After the February revolution of 4 (17) on March 1917 in Kiev at a meeting of representatives of political, social, cultural and professional organizations, the creation of the Central Rada was announced. On 7 (20) on March, elections for her leadership were held. Mikhail Grushevsky, who at that time was serving a link in Moscow, was elected chairman of the UCR in absentia. On March 14 (27) Mikhail Grushevsky returned to Kiev from exile and personally headed the activities of the UCR

After the October armed uprising in Petrograd, the UCR of the 7 (20) November proclaimed the Ukrainian People's Republic as part of a federal state.

On November 25 of 1917 in the general election, Grushevsky was elected to the All-Russian Constituent Assembly in the Kiev district No. 1 - Ukrainian Socialist Revolutionaries, Selyanskaya split, Ukrainian Social Democrats [5].

After the Bolsheviks dispersed the Constituent Assembly (6 (18) on January 1918), the Central Council proclaimed the independence of the UPR.

In January 1918, the Kiev Bolsheviks revolted, which was crushed by the troops of the Central Council.

27 January (9 February) 1918 The Central Rada representatives signed a separate peace treaty with Germany and Austria-Hungary, on the basis of which Ukraine was occupied by Austro-German forces.

At the end of April 1918, the Central Council was abolished as a result of the coup d'etat of the hetman P.P. Skoropadsky, supported by the occupation forces.

      1919 - 1934 years

At the end of March, 1919 left for Austria, created the Ukrainian Sociological Institute in Vienna - the ideological center of the Ukrainian nationalist counter-revolution. After several appeals of Grushevsky to the Ukrainian Soviet government, in which he condemned his counter-revolutionary activities, the All-Russian Central Executive Committee in 1924 allowed him to return to his homeland for scientific work. He was a professor of history at Kiev State University, elected an academician of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, head of the historical and philological department. He headed the archaeographic commission of the UAAS, the purpose of which was to create a scientific description of publications printed on the territory of ethnographic Ukraine in the XVI-XVIII centuries. At the end of the 1920's. a number of Marxist historians, in particular M. I. Yavorsky, criticized the writings of Grushevsky and his colleagues, who were engaged in research of the Ukrainian national movement of the second half of the 19th century and emphasized the question of repressions of the tsarist authorities against Ukrainophiles. Grushevsky’s opponents pointed to the underestimation of the social, class factor, criticized the “bourgeois narrow-mindedness” of the leaders of the Ukrainian national movement and emphasized the importance of Russian-Ukrainian revolutionary cooperation [6].

Starting from the 1930 of the year, Grushevsky was subjected to repression and harassment by law enforcement agencies. He was accused of “counter-revolutionary activity” and charged with participation in the anti-Soviet Ukrainian national center, including demanding that he be recognized in organizing terrorist acts and attempts on leading party leaders. The repression also affected most of his students and employees who worked with him during the 1920's. Almost all of them were repressed, and Grushevsky himself worked in Moscow from 1930 of the year [7].

In 1929, Grushevsky was elected a full member of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

He died in 1934 from blood poisoning in Kislovodsk, was buried with honors.

Nobody here is interested in Russia in the sense of rewriting this very history and proving that Moscow is just a regional center in the Kiev region. Nobody wants to take away the Kuban from Russia, they want to "put some ogirochki" there. Nobody in Lviv hangs up with kalei, take it easy, brothers. Get carried away with reading such authors less. Have you forgotten that every nation has the right to self-determination? Why does Russia have it, and why do you deny Ukraine this right, because you are "senior"? Time does not stand still. The USSR is no longer and never will be, more than twenty years have passed. Instead of building normal relations (which are quite normal at the level of the common people), some clever people, both in Russia and in Ukraine, are engaged in self-promotion. Probably, an opinion that contradicts the generally accepted one is not welcomed here. But I generally dared to point out to the moderator that he was not right about the vile picture in the article.

The debate about the autonomy and sovereignty of Ukrainians is a transfusion from empty to empty. New ideologists create new myths. At the same time, it is modestly silent that Ukraine at the 100% Austro-Hungarian project of the beginning of the twentieth century.
Having visited the great principalities of Lithuania and Moscow in 1523-1524, Pope Clement VII Ambassador Albert Kampense wrote to Rome that the inhabitants of Russia, both Lithuanian and Moscow, are considered to be one people, because "they speak the same language and profess the same faith." We bet that the language was not Ukrainian, but the Catholic faith? And in modern Ukraine, the Russian language in everyday communication is used by> 80% of people.

It is a pity that in Ukraine people like Oles Buzin are considered enemies. Those people whom Little Russia could be proud of are not held in high esteem. Well, they robbed themselves.

The dominance of the “Moscow language” in Lithuania was complained by the Lithuanian writer of the 16th century, Michalon Litvin, and the king and Grand Duke of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Jan Kazimir (who went down in history as an opponent of Bohdan Khmelnitsky), speaking in the Sejm, pointed out that the main threat to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth lies in gravitation the population of the Little Russian and Belarusian lands to Moscow, "associated with them language and faith."
I recommend to everyone who claims that Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians are ethnic groups, and not a single, but divided people, to put their languages into "mouths that do not speak Russian"

    morpex,
So where did you see the fascist in the picture? lol Already at least they wrote a German of the 1st World War, and so it was a fascist = black cap only like the ss of the Gestapo, only there is something missing essentially from the eagle with the swastika, apparently they tore it off in battle? winked
With such success, I will say that the cap there looks like this cap, the officer of the USSR Navy (just kidding) >>>

In short, there is some kind of Makhnovist.

I respect Oles Buzina, for his irreconcilable struggle against modern Ukrainian nationalism, Ukrainian "sharovarshchina", but I do not share all his convictions, especially regarding the October Revolution and its leaders. I agree with certain points in his article. In any case, I read it with interest, like all his publications.

The article is interesting, there is a lot of truth in it, but I did not put either a plus or a minus, since in order to clearly understand the event, you need to have in your hands and operate on the memories of not one, but several participants of that battle. And if you justify the article on the recollection of one participant, who, moreover, could have been at that time a schoolboy of 17-18 years old, who was perfectly brainwashed and intimidated, then you can write this ...
And as for the battle near Kruty, I can say that having lived most of my life in Ukraine, I judge the battle as a disgrace and helplessness of the Ukrainian authorities, which dismissed the army home, but at the right time could not gather it and threw young people into the meat grinder - the future the elite.
