A Russian Su-27 “intercepted” a reconnaissance aircraft and two French Air Force fighters over the Black Sea

A Russian fighter intercepted three aircraft from the French Air Force approaching the Russian border over the Black Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The Russian Su-27 fighter from the duty air defense forces was scrambled after control systems detected three air targets moving towards the state border of the Russian Federation. After the Su-27 approached the potential intruders, it was determined that it was a French E-3F airborne early warning and control aircraft, which was escorted by two Rafale fighters.

The crew of the Russian fighter identified the air targets as an E-3F long-range radar detection and control aircraft and two Rafal-S multirole fighters of the French Aerospace Forces

- said in a statement.

As the Russian fighter approached, the trio of French planes made a turn and took the opposite course, continuing to fly over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. The Russian Su-27 returned safely to its home airfield.

It is worth noting that flights of NATO aircraft in trios, including one reconnaissance aircraft and two fighters, began to be practiced near our borders the year before last, after a pair of Russian Su-27s almost shot down a single RC-135 Rivet Joint during conducting reconnaissance off the coast of Crimea. Last year, ours already intercepted three aircraft, in particular from the British Air Force. True, two fighters go out to intercept the trios; the flight of one is rather an exception to the rule.

Maybe it was necessary to sneak up from behind and intercept for real after the state border was violated? am

The Black Sea should have long been declared a no-fly zone and everything that appears there should be shot down. In general, AWACS need to be shot down accurately in the Black Sea.

And on what basis? War has not been declared on anyone, the status of the Northern Military District, in accordance with international agreements, has not been discussed. Well, it’s clear that they have moved on, but tomorrow they can declare anything as their no-flight zone. Dangerous games, you can shoot something down, and then you predict what will happen.???

We already know what happens until we shoot it down - combined attacks on Crimea, the Black Sea Fleet and the Crimean Bridge. Let's now see what happens after they are shot down.

Of course, we can’t shoot down, because then we’ll run into the possibility that we’ll be shot down somewhere over the Baltic for the same reasons. But you can try so-called unsafe piloting. Like when an American reconnaissance UAV was dropped into the Black Sea. Well, yes, the reckless pilot behaved mischievously. The same French will not risk an AWACS aircraft with people and will leave. Where will they go? Well, for example, into the airspace of a NATO country - Romania, Bulgaria, perhaps. even Turkey. It’s probably also possible to conduct reconnaissance from there, but it’s more difficult.

There will be a lot of cries about Russian aggression. After this, not a single NATO aircraft will enter the unmanned zone. No one will start a war because of one plane. Even if they shoot down our plane over the Baltic in retaliation. The score will be 1:1. But our main goal will be achieved.

Then it was necessary, on the contrary, to drive them into our space by force, not allowing them to turn back. And then shoot it down. Then everything is according to the law. You can also try this with rippers. Jam the connection and lead him into our space. A dumb car without control, avoiding collisions, will follow the course we have planned. fellow
Then shoot down. Their logic is simple. We need to use this. Perhaps drones with autopilot can also be diverted bully
They also have a built-in collision function.

Now we should probably do just that.
Once they started flying in threes, it is necessary to raise a squadron to intercept them, so that they “take the most important thing by the hand and lead it” into Russian airspace, and then force him to land.
That would be right. And not just meet and send out.

Well, it’s not that difficult when operating as part of a group that includes electronic warfare aircraft.

And again the ship is in the roadstead, without booms... like on patrol? Why are there no UAVs with heating systems in the air? Why aren't they assigned to watch? Where are our famous “Orions”, which can raise normal OLS and patrol for 12 hours, or even 24? And it can carry ATGMs so that they can immediately hit when detected.
            Where are they ?
The Black Sea Fleet command has not heard of them? But they have a reconnaissance and target designation UAV unit. Don't want these for yourself? Do not like ? Were you embarrassed to tell the command? And what kind of mania is it for to repeatedly expose ships to raids under the attacks of these BEC? Maybe someone at the Black Sea Fleet receives bonuses for these losses?

What kind of valor is this “intercepted”? They play on a simulator or practice a conditional aerial maneuver - I still understand. But what is the meaning of such an “interception”? They fly in neutral space and do not violate anything. Well, they flew up, looked at each other and scattered. Without causing harm to each other. What is valor? Why trumpet this fleeting meeting in the air to the whole world? Now, if they took a ram and they turned away at the last moment, or if they launched a rocket and they ran away from it, wherever they went. Who needs this meaningless “interception” and why? Puff out your cheeks and say, like, did we scare them? So it would be better if you shot down all the rappers and hawks who are pointing drones at our boats in Feodosia, that would be a meaning and a feat. And so the usual nonsense, chatter and lies!

I look at all this, and I get the feeling that they have, excuse me, gone crazy. All these songs about international law, I completely agree with some commentators, are worthless at all, just like the so-called political expediency. NATO is really in a state of war with Russia, we just need to admit it and stop playing games. They provide intelligence information, supply ammunition and weapons, and their soldiers fight in Ukraine. Yes, maybe we are still inferior in terms of conventional weapons, but this is not a reason to allow them to do whatever they want - in the end, they fire at Moscow. At the same time, probably the only thing that can explain what is happening is the understanding of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief that the country today is not yet ready for war. And that there is a stage of accumulation of strength. But here, probably, we need to take into account how not to oversleep their invasion. Despite the fact that the armies of NATO countries are not so large, they are mainly of a professional nature, ignoring conscription, they are strong due to their interstate mass character.

And yet. The West aims to destroy Russia - this is what they say officially. And if so, then there is no need to hope for anything that someone will “see the light.” Sooner or later, if you continue to spare them, there will be US troops in Ukraine, the Poles will begin an invasion of the Kaliningrad region and attack Minsk, and hordes will come from the Baltic states to St. Petersburg, Pskov and Novgorod, the Scandinavians will trample on Petrozavodsk and Murmansk; Transcaucasia will come to life, there will be attacks in Central Asia.... So that all this does not happen, these European comrades, stuffed with slave psychology, must really get punched in the face, otherwise they, inspired by their boss, decide that they have the right to do everything to us, whatever they want. Therefore, shoot down without talking!

the Black Sea fleet is practically out of action, what is left is hiding unsuccessfully, at least a dozen dry drones appear at night and destroy everything that is not hidden (against a dozen or more drones, not to mention a boat, almost any ship will not survive, and combined attacks from both the air and seas, and also missiles), i.e. full control of the world championship, actually destroying the bridge is a matter of technology for them, they will still practice and achieve their goal. It’s a shame that at sea there is an absolute complete failure in everything (naval aviation is absent as a class, air defense on ships manages to shoot down at most half of the drones, the rest calmly destroy their target) combat operations at sea show that the British who lead the Ukrainian Navy are several orders of magnitude higher in everything, moreover, having only perfect reconnaissance over the territory of the entire sea and sea and air drones and missiles (having neither cruisers, nor aircraft carriers, nor destroyers, nor frigates, but only boats and drones). Alas, in order to learn, the time has passed, you need to act as quickly as possible, and not hide in the bases, they will soon cover Novorossiysk with the remaining fleet if you continue to click your beak. And yes, I consider it impossible to allow reconnaissance and data transfer in wartime, all front-line countries must be warned about this (at a minimum, AWACS and reconnaissance drones must be jammed)

Yeah. This word “intercepted” in Russian is very ambiguous and vague. But in military reports it sounds beautiful.

I just wanted to write about this! I think such a “rolling” intercepted should be replaced with “escorted” or something similar. Intercepted means shot down. hi hi

It is not necessary to “intercept”, but to shoot down all NATO reconnaissance aircraft to hell anywhere in the Black Sea. Both unmanned and manned. And don’t care about the squeals and screams of the “partners” - these are their rules. Playing by THEIR rules, we will not win.

I’ve had a question for a long time: why don’t ours, at least UAVs, fly in neutral space? Or is there no neutral space? I’m not in the know on this issue, and I simply don’t have time to understand these subtleties. If anyone knows, explain in a few words about neutral space: does it exist or not?

The problem of AWACS aircraft flying over the Black Sea must be solved! What if you don’t shoot down a plane or planes, but capture it in the air and forcefully land it on our territory! Flights may stop.
