“We are repairing in the front line”: the Polish company has already transferred over a hundred Oncilla armored vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The relatively small Polish company Mista, which until recently was little known, has already delivered over a hundred Oncilla 4x4 armored vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

We are responsible not only for deliveries, but also for the maintenance and repair of vehicles damaged in battles, carrying out this directly in the front line. We deliver only the most seriously damaged vehicles to production facilities for major repairs that cannot be performed in field workshops

- noted in the company.

As its leadership assures, Ukraine has built a powerful service network that has sufficient personnel and technological competencies and can, if necessary, service other Western weapons.

The development of Oncilla based on the Ukrainian BA “Dozor-B” became known in 2017. After this vehicle began to be supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it underwent a number of changes.

We receive many signals from soldiers using our equipment in battles in Ukraine. This helps us not only refine and improve the existing product, but also plan its further development

- explained in the company.

The company claims that there were no losses among the personnel operating the vehicle:
*So far, the company headquarters has not received information that at least one Ukrainian soldier has died in Oncilla, although during the fighting several vehicles received damage that can be described as “complete destruction.”

Oncilla II concept with ZSMU machine gun

As indicated, designers are currently working intensively on the Oncilla II armored car:

We want this to be our answer to the needs of the front. We wish to use all our experience related to mine protection of the vehicle.

Oncilla II will be larger and noticeably heavier. Now the vehicle, carrying a crew of 3 people and a landing party of 6 soldiers, has a mass of about 9 tons. Due to the weight, a new, more powerful engine will be installed (currently a Deutz BF 4M 101 3PC diesel power plant with a power of 190 hp is used). The level of protection can increase: now the equipment can withstand a bullet from a 7,62x39 mm BZ cartridge from 30 m and an explosion of 8 kg of explosives; when installing ceramic armor panels, the security increases. Instead of a 7,62/12,7 mm machine gun, Oncilla II will be armed with a remote-controlled module with a 14,5 mm KPVT, equipped with a thermal imager.

This will turn a seemingly small machine into an extremely dangerous one. weapon, capable of fighting not only against enemy fortified points, but also against lightly armored vehicles. The KPVT has the ability to destroy or at least keep at a distance any armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, and older generation infantry fighting vehicles used by the Russians. It is also suitable for combating air targets, including drones

- explained in the company.

As noted, the plans also include the creation of an ambulance based on Oncilla, as well as command and anti-drone modifications based on Oncilla II. The anti-UAV version will be equipped with radar and machine guns.

The task of this system will be air defense of critical infrastructure elements

- noted in the company.

The production system is clumsy. As an example, private owners are more successful with the same FPV drones than enterprises tied to the state. The result: "Abrams" were shot down by people's drones. State tanks fell short of reaching them. Famous American tanks were destroyed by Russian drones, which caring patriots are collecting almost on their knees. And the cars for which the state provided money have demonstrated their insolvency.

Both American Abrams tanks were shot down by “nationally produced” drones; military journalist Roman Saponkov drew attention to this fact in his Telegram. In the first case, “Piranha” produced in Ulyanovsk was used, and in the second case, the St. Petersburg “Ghoul” was used. Saponkov writes that both companies do not receive funds from the budget. The “Ghoul” is generally made entirely from public donations.

"You may ask, why weren't the Abrams shot down by a drone assembled at government expense? It simply didn't make it there - the electronic warfare system crushed it or the build quality was such that it fell on the road, I don't know. But all the drones fell during use. To me, it's sad. It seems like we're fighting an external enemy, but everything is the same as before - nepotism and lobbying. Although it would seem that this is direct evidence of the need for competition to attract independent manufacturers. It would seem that independent manufacturers have confirmed their qualifications by being the first in the country to knock out Abrams. But something seems to me, nothing will change,” Saponkov concluded.

Voenkor points out that the Sudoplatov drones turned out to be of low quality and a separate electronic warfare unit was produced for them. In addition, the journalist’s sources previously said that a large number of complaints were received against Sudoplatov workers. The main message is the following: they demand window dressing with attacks on equipment, ignoring the real combat necessity.

Analyzing the massive failures using Sudoplatov drones, he drew attention to the fact that FPV drones are a new type of weapon, and therefore rapidly developing. AND There is a very intense struggle between means of destruction, that is, the drones themselves, and means of counteraction, that is, electronic warfare.

"Enemy actively adjusts and thereby blocks our opportunities. He constantly adapts its electronic warfare stations. And in the same way it adapts its own drones to the electronic warfare stations that we use. The Ministry of Defense, when it cooperated with Sudoplatov, was able to achieve mass production of drones. Standardization has occurred: the same drone, one curriculum, one manual. This is quite convenient for people at the front. But as a result, flexibility was lost. This does not mean that we need to remove Sudoplatov from the balance sheet and give all the money to the guys who produce the Ghoul or some other drones,” emphasizes Shlepchenko.

"Right here constant monitoring of the situation is needed." Yes, here the "birds" have stopped flying because they are being jammed. But these ones are working, which means that next month we will give more money to the second ones, and we will allocate funds to the first ones for research or additional equipment." And so, stepping on two or three, maybe four or five manufacturers, we will move forward. But, again, there must be clear monitoring of each individual situation that has developed right now. Then large mass production will arise. At the same time, the drones will be in the current version, against which Ukrainian electronic warfare systems will not work. With electronic warfare, by the way, you need to do exactly the same," – summed up Vlad Shlepchenko.

As an explanatory option. Work on state drones is controlled by a large number of people and the chains of relationships are long. In the chain, if one "snitch" and the electronic parameters are transmitted to the enemy, then their electronic warfare system is adjusted accordingly. There are many small private companies and their teams are small, and each has its own rich imagination in terms of schemes and algorithms. The chain of approvals is very short. Therefore, the electronic warfare means of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are often powerless against them.

The result: "Abrams" were shot down by public drones.

        Your half-truth.
They were immobilized by RPGs and finished off by drones.

        The production system is clumsy.

And this is a question for the country’s top leadership, which still keeps Nabiulina and Siluanov in key positions and who in every possible way hinder the serious improvement of the work of not only the public sector, but also the entire economy of the country as a whole.

Don't you know them? Russian universal remote combat modules "Spitsa", "Berezhok", "Bakhcha-U", "Baikal", "Boomerang-BM", "Epokha", "Sinitsa", "Dagger". 12.7 mm DPU on T-90M tanks and a remote-controlled combat module with a 12,7 mm machine gun, thermal imager and laser rangefinder on the UBIM.

Well, I can somehow understand the advertising from the Mista company in Europe or Ukraine... If you want to live, you have to be able to spin... But I just can't understand, why do we need such advertising from them in VO...??? It would be enough to simply list the tactical and technical characteristics... They certainly won't supply these machines to us, and do we need them anyway...??? Well, I don't know... Maybe I'm wrong...

Dear !Lev_Russia"! Of course, this is advertising... Sometimes, it gets on the pages of such a respected publication, perhaps due to the lack of control on the part of the "editor-in-chief" or for the banal reason of earning money... As they say - nothing personal, just business... Here, the other day, they reprinted the "opus" about how the "SCALP" CR is imported to the Ukrainian Reich. It turns out that they use a luxury Audi Q7 crossover for transportation... True, how do they manage to "cram" a six-meter "fool" weighing more than 1200 kg into the leather interior of a crazy car... What won't you publish to attract the public or increase the circulation of the publication...

The Lyakhs are in full control there, they’ve set up some sort of network. I wonder if these centers are being targeted?

The Poles have settled down well: in Poland, wives wash toilets or entertain lords with sex. Husbands in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in the trenches. The Polish technician is repaired and transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They make good money. Everyone is happy. The cycle of worms in nature.
