The Israeli army attacked Hezbollah military infrastructure facilities in southern Lebanon

Today, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a series of attacks on military installations of the radical Shiite movement Hezbollah in the southern provinces of Lebanon. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the press service of the Israeli armed forces.

According to IDF representatives, military targets of the Lebanese movement were attacked by Israeli air force fighter planes. Aviation The IDF carried out strikes on targets in the area of the city of Labboune in southern Lebanon. The consequences of the strikes for the Hezbollah movement have not been reported, and the Lebanese Shiite radicals themselves have not yet commented on these attacks.

Let us note that the situation on the border between Israel and Lebanon has deteriorated significantly after Israeli troops launched a military operation in the Gaza Strip against the Hamas movement. The Hezbollah movement declared its solidarity with Hamas.

However, the Lebanese radicals never began intensive military operations. Instead, they began periodically firing rockets and mortars into Israeli territory, as well as attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Israeli army responds to Hezbollah in approximately the same way - troops do not invade territories controlled by the movement, but the radicals' military infrastructure is periodically struck - both from the air, by Israeli air force fighters, and by ground forces artillery. However, constant shelling has led to civilian displacement in both southern Lebanon and northern Israel, although not on the same scale as in the Gaza Strip.
