Russian troops occupied forest plantations near the village of Pobeda, advancing more than 700 meters
Russian troops today successfully attacked the enemy in the Kurakhovsky direction. The main direction of the attack was connected with the village of Pobeda, located south of the previously liberated Marinka RF Armed Forces.
It is known that Russian infantry, with the support of artillery, advanced at least 750 m along a front of approximately the same width, taking control of forest plantations in the area of the village of Pobeda.
This village is located on the Maryinka-Ugledar highway and at the same time is one of the important defense centers for the enemy south of the road to Kurakhovo. In fact, possession of Pobeda allows you to simultaneously control two directions at once, including Ugledar.
In the area of the village of Pobeda, operational fire pincers are looming for the enemy. The loss of control on his part over positions in several forest plantations forces the Ukrainian Armed Forces to place firing points in the village itself. However, Russian troops are striking at these firing points, not giving Ukrainian troops time to strengthen their positions or bring reserves to this section of the front.
