The US and UK have demonstrated their inability to confront Yemeni rebels without a ground operation

Without a ground operation, the United States and Great Britain will not be able to effectively neutralize attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels in the Red Sea. At the same time, it is unlikely that US President Joe Biden will decide to launch a ground operation in Yemen in the pre-election months.

Based on this, the Houthis will most likely continue to dictate their terms in the Red Sea and launch targeted attacks on Western and Israeli ships, thus significantly limiting the intensity of shipping in the Red Sea. According to the American publication Bloomberg, as a result of shelling carried out from Yemen, the number of ships passing through the Suez Canal decreased by 36%.

Currently, Yemeni rebels have effectively taken control of sea communications on trade routes between Europe and Asia. Before the Israeli attack on the Palestinian enclave, which the Houthis oppose, 30% of the world's total sea container traffic was carried through the Red Sea.

Houthi attacks on shipping vessels in the Red Sea have accelerated the rate of increase in fuel prices in the European Union. In addition, according to experts, the blockade of sea trade routes by Yemeni rebels could have an impact on the global food market.

At the same time, bulk carriers and tankers unrelated to Israel, the United States and Great Britain continue to pass freely through Houthi-controlled sea routes. Thus, the rebels demonstrate complete control over the situation in the region and the ability to let in those they wish, while showing the whole world the limitations of the capabilities of the West and its allies. This is a kind of sanctions from the Yemeni rebels.

There will be no ground operation! There is simply no one to start it.

You might think that in a ground operation they will defeat the Houthis... You can get stuck in such a war, you will never win... Vietnam, Korea and Afghanistan are examples of this... Even after bombing all populated areas to smithereens, they will not get victory, but a stream of coffins to the same States or to Europe will quickly cool their warlike ardor and they will have to leave in the same shameful way as they fled from Afghanistan... am

it’s just that they are very far from these countries, the trick is not to win on earth, but the trick is that such a country can’t do anything else and not let them come around, just periodically bomb) the states live and Europe lives, no one knows their problems bombs

You can come to an agreement with the Houthis... but the Anglo-Saxons, with their insatiable thirst to dictate rules to the whole world based on their understanding of the world order, will bring the world to a bloody massacre of everyone and everything.
And until the British and Americans get a tambourine for complete peace, there will be no peace in this region... just like in Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, and Africa.
I wish the Houthis success in the fight against this global evil.

Not likely, but after the Anglo-Saxon attacks they will definitely continue and keep this section of sea communication under control. Here you have the Houthis, who were not afraid to speak out against Israel and the United States, and now, sitting on the shore, are showing the so-called middle finger. coalition. In the spring of 2017, the North Koreans did the same thing with American AUGs, which Trump drove to their shores in order to intimidate.

Of course, they should be helped through Iran with missiles and specialists, the Anglo-Saxons will have a big pain in the ass, after all, our hands are untied, will we have enough will? But there Egypt can beg in tears, it is losing income from Suez, and we have big contracts and friendship with them.

It’s strange that there are no attacks from the Houthis using “motors with explosives.” Equipment from a FPV drone, one drone repeater (if the coast is high, then it’s not necessary) and a 100 kg servo machine for “steering” and ... about 20 of these motor boats in a group. Letting supply ships sink to the bottom is the way to go.

why start something on the ground; satellites are being monitored; scouts are flying through and Androy and Apple are monitoring where and who is bombing! They don’t want to capture the Houthis! The USA simply needs to destroy those who are trying to do something)

Interesting idea. Throwing away equipment and weapons worth a lot of money. Which could have been conveyed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine when they learned that the Russian Federation would launch a military defense system. Nothing bothers you? Or maybe they transferred the Afghan contingent to Ukraine. Also no. Marvelous.

Well, I guess there was a reason for this
Which could be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

a major conflict was planned; knowing time was the most important thing for them!
      Doesn't bother you?

Is there something going on in Afghanistan right now?
Or maybe they transferred the Afghan contingent to Ukraine. Also no.

      no, maybe in Europe???????
      surprisingly

and very surprising! drop everything and leave! probably guessed that the loot would have to be poured into another country)

Of all the motley company of “decolonization fighters,” the Houthis are the most ideologically motivated. By the way, our weirdos in the news continue to automatically call them rebels. A couple of hours ago I heard fm on the news. I.d.i.o.you

Level - expert). The loot ends up in the USA both here and there. It's not like it's a secret. And all the level answers:
Well, how do you have to explain the same thing to people in the USA))) otherwise they would say there and the courts, are you crazy?))

Have you now become an expert on the Middle East and motivation? Without financial injections and arms supplies, the Houthis would lose motivation quite quickly. Or maybe you, as a specialist, can tell us which factories in Yemen produce anti-ship missiles, for example?

Maybe, according to their plans, the conflict should begin in 2024-2025, and there may be many nuances) but the conflict between the USA and Europe artificially made this a fact!

Why do they need this? Destroy the launchers, cut off the anti-ship missile supply channels and the issue is closed, let them continue to live in their mountains and chew khat. The Houthis do not produce weapons themselves - everything comes from Iran

Just like... like in a computer game. I can ask you too. If everything is so simple, then why did the United States enter Afghanistan? They would have bombed the terrorists (they were there to fight terrorism) that’s all. I won’t even ask why they fled

The Northern Alliance pushed the Taliban out in 2001. The US only helped from the air. Without the Mujahideen they would not have gotten involved. And then, they admitted that they were mistaken. Why the rake with the Houthis now?

Without a ground operation, the United States and Great Britain will not be able to effectively neutralize attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels in the Red Sea.

January 15 this year in an interview with The National, the vice-president of the internationally recognized government of Yemen, Major General Aidarus al-Zubaidi, said:

US airstrikes in their current form are not enough. There must be a comprehensive approach - military, political and economic. What is needed is “an extensive military operation involving regional power centers to put an end to piracy in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.”

No idea. They are unlikely to solve anything by bombing alone. In any case, so far there is no sense, judging by the news.

What kind of rebels are these? Mujahideen are ordinary. Business is like this. How many years do they fight to fight? They simply don’t know how to do anything else. Yesterday against some, today against others, tomorrow against others or everyone else for whom they will pay...
