Two seriously wounded soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to survive in the gray zone for five days

Amazing story occurred on the line of combat contact in one of the directions. Two seriously wounded soldiers, one from the Russian army and the other from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, tried to survive in the gray zone for several days, helping each other. Russian resources write about this.

The story of the Russian soldier was told by doctors of the 1486th regiment. As it turned out, a fighter named Alexey with the call sign “Babka” was seriously wounded during a not entirely successful attack by our units on Ukrainian positions in one of the LBS sections. I woke up among the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers with severe wounds to my back, lower back and buttocks. Next to him was a wounded Ukrainian who also could not move independently. The fighters provided each other with first aid and tried to survive in these conditions.

The wounded were in the gray zone, where neither the Russian nor the Ukrainian military entered, the Russian soldier was considered dead, the Ukrainian died from his wounds on the fifth day. Only after this did our fighter begin to slowly crawl towards the Russian positions. Alexey ate snow and crawled until a Russian drone spotted him. He was able to crawl on his hands alone to the dugout, from where he was already evacuated by soldiers from the 1442nd regiment.

Currently, Alexey is in the hands of doctors; his life and health are by and large no longer in danger; doctors are trying to save his frostbitten legs. So far the prognosis is positive, but amputation cannot be ruled out.

According to Russian fighters, this story is a true example of humanity and the manifestation of fortitude and will. It once again proves that the ongoing war, in its essence, is civil, when two parts of one divided people fight among themselves.

Well done Alexey for crawling to ours! He should have done this a little earlier, but apparently he, as a human being, did not want to abandon the Ukrainian alone before his death, until he himself died.

I wish Alexei would recover completely soon and that the doctors would definitely save his legs!
          God take care of him!

For some reason I remembered the film “41st”, how our girl, a Red Army soldier and a white officer ended up on an island in the Aral Sea. They also had to survive together, but when a boat with whites sailed to the island..., their hand did not waver, although they understood that they would be immediately killed by the whites.
Then there was the film “Cuckoo” about the Finnish war, where our Red Army soldier survived in the taiga with a Finn, deftly settling under the skirt of a Finnish girl. Well, this is a movie, and here is life.... And the guy is a real hero, at least make a new film on this basis and it would be nice with a happy ending for both, but...

Only strong and courageous people are able to show humanity, as if it is a “sign” of such a character. Health and long life to our hero... Kingdom of Heaven to the Ukrainian soldier. It's a shame that he died in vain...

During the Great Patriotic War, their grandfathers beat the Germans shoulder to shoulder. In the 21st century, grandchildren were pitted against each other by their overseas “partners.” It’s good that at least in the last hours of their lives the fighters decided to help each other!

What should two wounded Russian soldiers share, besides their stripes?! We have to survive. The Ukrainian clearly realized that he shouldn’t expect help from “his own” people, and if they evacuate ours, they won’t leave him either. What’s interesting to me is that they sit in a trench until the last bullet, but in their hearts they hope that in captivity they will be helped, warmed, treated and fed...

Yesterday they showed this on the news on Central.
It was our assault. Heavy. Only when the Ukrainians ran out of ammunition did they decide to surrender. 5-6 people in one trench. Here’s the question: why do our people take such people prisoner? You just fought with them, you yourself or your comrade were wounded, maybe they even killed someone. That's right about 5 minutes ago. And here - in pure Russian from the trench = brothers, Slavs, the cartridges have run out, I’ve already thrown my last grenade at you, I don’t want to die. Ready to give up.
And you're like, okay. Giving up is good. You rush into the trench and expose your back to the unknown, treating his injuries and wounds.
I never thought that I would write something like this, but.. Milchakov is right (from DSHRG Rusich, he recently gave an interview for half an hour, which was scattered in a cart with quotes)
“If you didn’t surrender before the start of the battle, after the battle you have no right to surrender. You are the enemy. You wanted my death, you are my rightful trophy during and after the battle.”
This stupidly and banally saves the lives of those who show humanity from a shot, a knife in the back and gives an “outlet” for their already dead friends.
              I found a clipping.

This is a common situation with most prisoners in all wars. Or five minutes ago, or an hour ago, or yesterday.
But what you cited is classified as a war crime in all existing conventions on the rules of war.

I'll tell you one thought. The rules of citizenship in war do not apply.
There, human life can end at any moment. People sitting at the same table with you and having breakfast, joking and talking about their relatives or funny moments from life, 30 minutes later lie with unblinking eyes after the fight. People change a lot after something like this - they break down, drink themselves to death, constant stress, severe indifference sets in. They live by making swearing jokes and teasing each other. Without such comedians there is booze and crossbows.
I didn't come up with it. Read the memoirs of ordinary lieutenants, both German and ours. Not generals - those should not have written such things.
I recommend it, it’s about something else, of course, but the general despondency and indifference against the background of the German retreats can be understood. Just as an example. These are coming out of the Stalingrad cauldron.

                        Living example.
                        in the Israeli-Palestinian war.
The convention is being applied block by block.
Yesterday they showed - before entering an apartment - a live grenade is first thrown there, then a burst of machine gun fire is fired, and only then the Israeli somehow enters it.
How many people there were turned into mincemeat - these are acceptable losses. The American term is casual of something. They often hide behind it
everything is according to the convention.
The UN could not condemn the country of Israel for such military actions - America vetoed it.

about the fact that in Donetsk EVERY DAY 1-2 people die from an “accidentally flying” shell, even in our TV channel they are cowardly silent. And this fact has been tormenting me since 2016. You live, you live, a shell, no legs... you crawl, you crawl, a shell, no arm... And those who are unlucky are killed immediately.
and we can’t do ANYTHING.. they’re shooting from near Avdeevka, which we just started to really level to the ground last month.. Wasn’t there an order before this? Or didn’t Shoigu from Siberia see that this was possible? shame on ours, and pity on the Donetsk people who survived for so many years in this example of compliance with the convention, which a certain pacifist “no-war man” wrote about above.

The collective West was wiped out by these “conventions” when the Ukrainians brutally killed Russian prisoners near Kharkov last year.
There are no more conventions, and the sooner we realize this, the better.
By the way, the West also covers up (and therefore approves) the war crimes of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, and it doesn’t care about any conventions.

But what if there is an assault on long trenches and when they reach the middle, some of the enemies raised their hands, while the rest are still firing back with all their might? After all, you can’t lead a group of two or three people to your rear, why do you need to allocate a convoy, leaving your own people to accompany you?
Even just by staying in place next to them, you fall out of the assault and, therefore, expose your own people to even greater danger.
Eh, I feel like no one stands on ceremony in such a situation and it’s easier to “kill” everyone than to leave the battlefield. War....

There may be a lot of options, because in war everything happens. Of course, it’s a shame that they left him, you can only imagine what it was like for him - one day, another, and no one came. But for some reason, I remember that this was presented as a demonstration of the “reveal-chronicles” in Western news agencies with the corresponding voice-over... The “chronicles” presented how the “reveal-drone” helped a wounded vushnik get out to “theirs” ! For some reason I understood this...although it could have been a mistake! Maybe someone also came across such a plot in the TV program “60 Minutes”!?

You better think how many ruined lives are on the conscience of citizen Medvedchuk. There's definitely not one thousand there. It was this pretzel who wrote draft laws on the rehabilitation and praise of Bandera’s followers (at that time the same Zelensky was not even close), together with Vitya the lousy, they sponsored nationalists in western Ukraine in order to scare the residents of eastern Ukraine so that they would vote for them in elections. Medvedchuk’s ears are behind the murders of all significant commanders in the Donbass. I wouldn’t be surprised if his ears are also sticking out behind the attempts on the lives of the kings and kings - he’s removing competitors. When it becomes calmer in the liberated territories, this pretzel will appear there with the slogan - “with Russia forever”...

I remembered Putin with his story about his grandfather, who first shot a German in the trenches of the First World War, and the next night crawled to provide him with medical care. Sympathy for another person is the most characteristic feature of human consciousness, based on the associativity of our thinking. Almost every person can put himself in the place of another person, sometimes even an enemy. And sometimes it even happens on its own, and sometimes it’s impossible to shrug it off. And those who are unable to sympathize with another person usually cannot because of a nervous disease.

A thought just occurred to me - an analogy to your comment...

Exactly. Nowadays special effects are all around, but the acting and moral and ethical content 40 years ago were better even in Hollywood

This is a civil war. And the Anglo-Saxons left no other way out. Let the example be off topic, but in order not to lose a chess game, you have to sacrifice both pawns and pieces. There was no other way out, unfortunately, they locked us in.

Plagiarism. Chukhrai's film "Forty-First" already had a similar script. In it, during the Civil War, a beautiful Bolshevik woman and a handsome White Guard officer find themselves alone on an island. The beauty had forty killed White Guard officers on her combat record.
They fell in love with each other, but in the end the Bolshevik lieutenant was shot, and he became forty-first.

Yes. A beautiful story, although Lavrenev’s invention from beginning to end.
Just like our story, most likely, told not even from the words of the wounded soldier himself."named Alexey with the call sign "Babka"", and from the words "medics 1486 regiment".
The fact that in the gray zone a wounded unarmed Russian soldier met a wounded unarmed Ukrainian soldier, they looked at each other and crawled in different directions - I readily believe this.
But the fact is that our fighter, himself wounded and hungry, ate snow and froze his feet for five days, caring for a wounded Ukrainian soldier who "could not move independently", and only after the death of the Ukrainian did he crawl to his own people - it’s hard to believe.

I think I did the right thing. Cases where a woman betrayed her duty for the sake of her beloved man did not end well, as with Vorontsova and Maduev. A man loves today, not tomorrow. This is in that rare case when he really loves, and does not hang noodles on his ears.
Even if they continued the relationship, it’s not a fact that they would have succeeded. Burning with passion in an extreme situation is easy, but every day reaching agreement on everyday and sexual contradictions is completely different.

She signed her own death warrant, most likely a painful one.
And the viewer can only guess whether she did it out of duty to the revolution or because she understood that their relationship had no future, for her life was over.

I was always surprised by the story with the Storozhevoy BOD, when the team began to carry out the orders of the rebel, and all they had to do was hit him in the forehead with a shovel.
And there are plenty of such examples, including the “Decembrists”.

Those who stood on the stage of the Maidan (they are all known) in 2014 and started a massacre in the Donbass. The clown, having deceived voters, joined his own later. So they set one people against another. Russians were expected in Kherson and Nikolaev back in 2014.

I woke up among the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers with severe wounds to my back, lower back and buttocks. Next to him was a wounded Ukrainian who also could not move independently. The fighters provided each other with first aid and tried to survive in these conditions.

I simply cannot help but note the role of the Ukrainian soldier in saving his Russian brother, who, due to his wounds, simply could not bandage himself. It turns out that, in fact, the Ukrainian saved him.

War is civil war, we are at war with ourselves. In November, one of our relatives died on the Ukrainian side, one on our side, and both died in Zaporozhye. Both peoples lack the brains that for hundreds of years now the arrogant Saxons with pin-dos have been fighting against us, although they are trying to do it all with the wrong hands.

There is an old Soviet film in which Russian and German soldiers find themselves in a littered basement of a house. They can’t go out and sit together for several hours, telling each other about themselves. At the end of the film, an explosion makes a hole, they climb out of the basement and see battle around them. And they kill each other. A very good movie. WITH

      ----------

Good luck to comrade Alexey and may he recover soon. This is the first time I've read that this is a "civil war", which I agree with.

The loss of Western Russians (Ukrainians) is unfortunate and it is unfortunate that they do not understand that they are a tool for the US and Europe to continue to plunder at their expense and try in vain to carry out the genocide of the Russian people.
