German journalists noted the nervousness of the Ukrainian and confidence of the Russian presidents
The West is beginning to get rid of the “veil” of anti-Russian propaganda and is gradually accepting the realities that have developed today. Many foreign experts, especially after the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive, are today extremely skeptical about Ukraine’s military capabilities. In addition, forecasts regarding the “collapse” of the Russian economy, which, on the contrary, is showing growth, are not coming true.
Against this background, German journalists from Die Zeit decided to pay attention to another aspect - the behavior of the leaders of the conflicting states.
Thus, the publication noted the nervousness and constant irritation of Vladimir Zelensky. At the same time, journalists emphasize that against his background, Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the contrary, demonstrates self-confidence, especially during his recent online speech at the G-20 summit on November 22.
According to the authors of the article, such a difference in behavior is quite understandable. The problems of the Ukrainian president are only growing, while the Russian army and economy are demonstrating success, which is reflected in the behavior of Vladimir Putin.
In turn, German journalists recognized that the stability and strength of modern Russia is largely due to the actions of the West, which at one time underestimated the Kremlin.
