Japan Self-Defense Forces conduct exercises to regain control of 'outlying islands'

Japan's Self-Defense Forces conducted coastal landing exercises, practicing the capture of "outlying islands." This was reported by the press service of the country's Ministry of Defense.

The Japanese army carried out an operation to regain control of one of the islands “captured” by the enemy. During the exercise, units of the Self-Defense Forces landed on the coast of the island, after which they “pushed the enemy” deeper into the territory with their subsequent destruction. The landing of personnel on the island was carried out using amphibious vehicles from two landing ships, as well as inflatable rubber boats. The heavy equipment was delivered by hovercraft.

The exercise took place on Tokunoshima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture in the northern part of Ryuku Island. As stated by the country's Ministry of Defense, the exercise scenario provided for the "liberation" of the island from the Chinese armed forces that had captured it. According to the assumption of the General Staff of the Japanese Army, in the event of a Japanese-Chinese conflict, and it is quite likely, the PLA Navy will definitely capture the island of Tokunoshima.

The Japanese military does not rule out that military exercises of this nature will be held more and more often, since the likelihood of an attack from China, North Korea and Russia, how could it be without it, allegedly “increases every day.” For 2023, a record amount of $51 billion was allocated for military needs. At the same time, the Japanese military is demanding even more funding from the government, since the allocated funds are not enough to purchase everything planned. For example, the Self-Defense Forces were forced to abandon the purchase of Boeing CH-47 Chinook transport helicopters.

For the next year, 2024, the Japanese Ministry of Defense requested $53 billion, which is an absolute record in stories Japan

How to restrain it? :)))) Apart from nuclear weapons in incomprehensible quantities and with incomprehensible carriers, whose name is worse than nuclear war (“Pukkyukson”), the DPRK has nothing that could threaten Japan, but Eun is not crazy to use Nuclear weapons will be the first if there is no attack on the DPRK.

So it seems that the Japanese were not going to attack North Korea. And if it’s our Kuril Islands, then we should answer. Or have we run out of nuclear weapons? In Kamchatka, even without taking into account SSBNs (from which only about four SLBMs will be needed to finally resolve the Japanese issue), a salvo of one Baton SSGN, Project 949, is enough. With special equipment, of course.
Or maybe one or two bottom land mines of special design and special power. And Fukushima will seem like a pale shadow. And you won't even need rockets. At the same time, we will get rid of American bases in Japan and the surrounding area... Of course, this will be the activity of an underwater volcano, aggravated by the explosion of methane hydrate. request No one is to blame, but the issue is resolved.

We essentially have two targets to choose from to demonstrate that we take the threat to our existence seriously - England and Japan. And if anyone in the New World may regret England, then no one will remember Japan with a kind word either in the West or in the region of East and Southeast Asia. A very convenient demonstrative sacrifice.
Moreover, they are no longer a trading partner for us.
And Xi Jing Ping will say thank you and calmly return Formosa to her Native Harbor.
Do not forget that the Military Doctrine of the Russian Federation has already been corrected for such cases.

Of course, Poseidons are most effective against Japan and England, but even one ammunition load of one Poseidon carrier is too much for any given purpose. So the main goal is still the USA. But the first carriers are actually being deployed in Kamchatka.

From about 1859 to 1898 Then this superiority was lost, but adequate forces for the defense of the Far East (and this is not only the fleet) still existed, and very powerful ones - whatever one may say, the Japanese army by the end of the REV was completely exhausted in battles. The same thing happened before WWII - the naval forces were purely nominal, but the ground forces were very significant, capable of fighting any army that Japan could send to the mainland. After the revolution it was a failure, but since the mid-1930s, approximately, the army in the Far East has been quite capable of protecting it from Japanese aggression.

For the time periods I indicated, this is true. The problem is different - usually we had in the Far East either a superior fleet, or (and sometimes at the same time) powerful ground forces and air forces. Now there is neither one nor the other.

DBK has not become a thing of history. The surface component of the Pacific Fleet is certainly weak, but the underwater component... each SSGN Project 949 has a striking force 1,5 times greater than the only cruiser in the Pacific Fleet, the Varyag, and how many of these do we have there? But there are already “Yaseni”, which have even more SZ and GZ anti-ship missiles on each.
And there are also SSBNs, a quarter of the ammunition capacity of each of them is enough to destroy the military and economic potential of Japan and turn it into the Middle Ages.
And in Kamchatka there is a base for a division of Poseidon carriers - in the wet docks under the mountain.
There is also aviation. Incl. and missile-carrying.

Well, we also have partners in the region - two nuclear powers. Or do you think that they will watch indifferently as Japan fluffs its tail again? And these nuclear powers also have the largest ground armies.
The fact that Russia will kill the Japanese and Co. predominantly\exclusively nuclear weapons - obvious to everyone, especially our neighbors in the region. To have such happiness and/or to receive a weakened ally as a result of aggression is definitely not comme il faut for them.
And who told you that with Japan we would be as careful and delicate as in Ukraine? It has its own territory, its own people under the fascist yoke, the border with NATO is land and very long. And so far no one has seized our indigenous territory (which is discussed in the Constitution). And the bulk of our population is in the European part of the country.
But with Japan everything is simple - no Japan, no problem.

But the Japanese seizure of the Kuril Islands does not pose a threat to the existence of the Russian Federation. And if we respond with nuclear weapons, it will be the biggest loss of face for the Russian Federation on the world stage. Will countries that are more or less loyal to us now, such as China and India, support us? Who knows...

In general, as for me, our plans for the Far East need to be very clearly defined. That is, we must honestly, frankly, and inform the whole world that ANY encroachment into our territories will be repelled with the use of nuclear weapons, and the areas of its use are not limited directly to the database area and extend to the infrastructure of the aggressor state.
What is needed here is crystalline, pure, unclouded clarity. And, of course, readiness to strike with nuclear weapons in the event of an incident

The risks for them are simply fatal. With their overcrowding, seismicity of the region and vulnerability to tidal waves, everything can be reduced to the manifestation of natural elements. Since it happened to Fukushima through an impact with a power of 500 Kt. , what will happen in the event of the impact of two unknown sources with a power of one hundred to two hundred times more powerful, each? Earthquakes and tsunamis are so common in Japan. And if they sin before them (the forces of nature and the “Truth of God”), then why be surprised? Two bottom charges or, at worst, two “Poseidons” and... the wrath of the King of the Sea will be terrible.

Japan, undoubtedly, has a full-fledged navy, army, and aviation.

However, it will not attack a nuclear power. They're not crazy.
Now, if the world starts to become noticeable at number 3, then of course they will try to take advantage of the moment, and so...

And who told you that the hacks didn’t count on this? The Ukrainian authorities have nothing to lose and they do not feel sorry for anything in Ukraine - neither cities, nor industry, nor infrastructure, nor people. They work for the Western owner.

And besides, they understood perfectly well that they would wage a semi-terrorist war, as was the case in the Caucasus, and Russia considers these lands and these people as their own.

Japan is a completely different matter. This seems to be an equal opponent, and locally, even superior in strength. I agree that Russia, of course, in the event of a hypothetical Japanese attack, would probably try to fight back with conventional means, but if that didn’t work, then at least tactical nuclear weapons would not fail to use. By the way, the special torpedo and Japan are simply made for each other. Tsunami, that's all Japanese.

About forty years ago I heard this version: “Moscow is hitting hard and doesn’t believe in tears.”

There is a version that the phrase “Moscow does not believe in tears” was started by petitioners who, on behalf of the people, tearfully begged the prince to reduce the tribute, but received a strict refusal.

Today, Moscow lives in debt, when the difference between income and expenses amounts to hundreds of billions with a minus sign... In Soviet times, people calmly left for the Far North and the Far East, compensating for the “hardships and hardships” of shift life with high earnings .

You can look here and see how much one Muscovite costs, and compare with the figures that will be obtained in your region if you divide the amount of the annual budget by the number of residents:

Let me disagree that life in Moscow today is unbearable.
This is the only city in Russia whose population has grown one and a half times over 30 years, despite the fact that the population in the country is below the level of the mid-80s of the last century.

Moreover, the Kamchatka and coastal parts of the Pacific Fleet are separated by a huge distance.

Patrolling the coastline and the Kuril Islands was previously effectively carried out by MRAP Pacific Fleet aviation - Tu-22M3 missile carriers.

Residents of Donetsk and the region continue to be confused with bricks. What has changed since February 24? The race to Kuev is to repeat Crimea and raise the rating to the skies without a fight. The godfather promised a coup, but he himself was tied up. It’s not a well-thought-out adventure, it’s February 24. The last thing the fighters thought about was protecting the LDPR. And when NATO rolled and climbed in, we had to move involuntarily. But the towers do not forget about entering into negotiations. They do not set the task of eliminating the Bandera regime. They are not going to liquidate the “state” of Ukraine. For denazification is impossible without complete cleansing of the political clearing of the criminal abscess on Russian soil.
As for the islands, of course they won’t just hand them over, and they won’t throw around the loaf either. Can you imagine the consequences of its use in the current World? We will have one more theater of war, that’s all.

The Pacific Fleet cannot resist the entire NATO fleet and there is no need to strive for this, otherwise the navel will untie from tension. Ships are good and beautiful, but they are expensive and sometimes they sink. We need to develop something that can send ships to the bottom, and not participate in a race for the number of ships.

Je čas rozkopat těm Japončíkům jejich bábovičky, a zahnat je zpátky do jejich ohrádky, aby se uklidnili...Jinak budou pořád zlobit...

The PLA Navy will definitely capture Tokunoshima Island.

Even a samurai hedgehog understands that we are talking about the Kuril Islands

since the likelihood of an attack from China, North Korea and Russia, how can we do without it, allegedly “increases every day”
And instead of normalizing relations, the Japanese decided to intimidate those designated as enemies of the country, all at once, with their military might? No, if they were American, I would understand. And they are theirs... China, the Russian Federation and even the DPRK to boot. The choice of opponents is the nonsense of a fool, although... it is not their choice. Well, why does Russia need Japan? From a military point of view, it may only be of interest as a potential threat that needs to be eliminated. Why ask?

Did they remember to carry out their civil defense exercises called “Hiroshima-2” in a logical connection with those described above?

At one time, the Americans dropped an atomic bomb on Japan in order to save the lives of their soldiers. And the losses could amount to up to 500 thousand military personnel.
And they went for it. And as the Japs think, RUSSIA can act like the USA in 1945. Considering the shortage of population in our country?

The narrow-eyed sixes are preparing to carry chestnuts out of the fire for their owner. History teaches nothing, and Fukushima has been forgotten.
Or are they preparing to liberate Okinawa?

Everything here is twofold. The word of the Kuriles gives us pause to think about these teachings. It is necessary to follow Western teachings. Conduct their analysis. Perhaps dissatisfied “partners” gathered to fight collectively, but not against China.

Japan has superiority over Russia in all conventional types of weapons in the Far Eastern theater of operations. In some areas (Navy) decisive. The economic and demographic potential in the region is not comparable. Within these conditions, the Japanese leadership must understand that almost any confrontation will comply with the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons under the current doctrine. The latest actions on Japan's purchase of Tomahawks block 4 and block 5 already correspond to this in the point of nuclear weapons carriers. The likelihood of a transition to a global exchange of strikes between the USA and Russia due to the destruction of the territory and armed forces of Japan by tactical nuclear weapons will be extremely low.

Japan constantly showed bestial grins with the aim of returning its former islands, occupied by them in past centuries, with the active support of no less bestial Yankees. , in order to maintain constantly strained relations, especially with Russia. But the Yankees must remember that the Japanese still have to take revenge on them for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The samurai remember everything well, although they pretend that they have forgotten everything to the Americans. And revenge will be on you, Yankees, if you awaken the beast in the samurai, remember.

That is, we must honestly, frankly, and inform the whole world that ANY encroachment into our territories will be repelled with the use of nuclear weapons, and the areas of its use are not limited directly to the database area and extend to the infrastructure of the aggressor state.

Then it will be necessary to immediately use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, which are not only creeping into our territories, but also occupying two capitals of the subjects of the Federation, one of these capitals from the very beginning of the existence of this subject. "But there is a nuance."
