American media: The United States transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces at least one Assault Breacher mine clearing vehicle based on the Abrams tank to break through the Russian defense line

The US Department of Defense, without officially announcing it, has transferred at least one Assault Breacher armored mine clearance vehicle to the Ukrainian armed forces. American columnist for The Forbes David Ax reported this.

The Assault Breacher is considered the "most powerful" engineering vehicle in the US military. The M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle is designed to clear paths for troops and military equipment through minefields. These vehicles were first used in combat on December 3, 2009, during a raid by American Marines in Helmand Province in Afghanistan.

It is noteworthy that the American authorities classified the transferred vehicles as “mine clearance equipment.” These mine clearance engineering vehicles were not included in the official lists of US military assistance published by the Pentagon.

Let us note that yesterday the United States transferred another package of military assistance to Ukraine totaling $125 million. It is interesting that just a day earlier Washington was going to transfer military aid worth $425 million to Kiev, but within a day something in the plans of the American administration changed, and as a result, the cost of the transferred package turned out to be $300 million less than expected.

The White House admitted that the United States is running out of funds that provide military assistance to Ukraine. The Republican-majority House of Representatives is already blocking further funding for Kyiv, despite attempts by President Joe Biden and his administration to push through aid to Ukraine in the same package as support for Israel.

And no one will say how many such quiet transmissions there were, and then we laugh, saying that ours are destroyed in the second round, but why in the second? They officially stated that they installed 15 self-propelled guns, but in fact there were 25, and it turns out to be complicated arithmetic.

Coordinal Richelieu!)) In general, the machines are not bad, they say they are the heaviest and most highly protected mine clearance machines among their kind. In my opinion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine only received one. Time will tell whether it will help during the assault on the positions.

The human factor should not be excluded either. It is human nature to see what he wants, and not what actually exists. This leads to errors in counting destroyed enemies. There are always more of them than actually destroyed. Especially if the front is standing and the results of the shelling are not always clearly visible.

There is another tricky point: when officials from the Ministry of Defense report that a huge amount of equipment has been “damaged”, they do not specify what is “damaged” and “destroyed” - these are completely different things. You can break the lens of a tank with a stone - and this will also be considered that it is “hit”.

Exactly. And for the military this is completely obvious. If civilians do not understand this and consider “hit” and “destroyed” to be synonymous, then this is a problem for civilians, because the military is not obliged to explain the meaning of military terms.

It seems to me that they burn just like any other Western wunderwaffle.

Moreover, in order not to waste such a valuable gift, it will most likely be “cleared” not where our mines are laid, but somewhere in a warehouse in Lvov. And even without this, the West is muttering that the horse races squandered all the “valuable gifts” at the front or sold them.

Assault Breacher armored mine clearing vehicle.
It is VERY effective and very heavy (72 tons), the latter can negatively affect its effectiveness when used in the fields of Ukraine

At least read the title of the article carefully; it clearly says at least one machine has been delivered, but no one knows how many will be delivered or have already been delivered. There were no official statements.

I looked through a few of my comments... I didn’t see Urya... you’re lying.
What do you suggest to become despondent? I don't see any reason? Despite all our problems, I am not going to add grist to the mill of enemy propaganda... Almost everyone has claims to power, but when we are urgently asked to remove it, we only unite more strongly... We don’t need any revolutions...
I'm not at the front, that's clear. But I help our volunteers with a little money, so that for my money the stupid heads of pigs will fly apart, and they will fly apart...
So to be sure... Hurray.... For the Motherland!!!! For Russia!!!!

And what does this have to do with hurray, as conflict practice has shown that not one, not two, not three machines of this level are capable of bringing a serious advantage in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
I don’t really understand whether the Ukro-Tugrics are needed so much or for another reason you are writing such comments here - with faith in a great mine clearance machine (or even three), which will save the situation at the front?

how many armored vehicles Assault Breachers, which should provide a “breakthrough” of the Russian defense.

I found where the legs grow from.
Columnist David Ax published such “sensational” information in his article for Forbes. According to him, Ukrainian troops received from one to six such vehicles, although their exact number is unknown.

One, two or three mine clearing vehicles, the front length is about 1200 km.
But you should never underestimate the enemy. Russia should not and must not make the same mistake as the West.

Should we expect that after this the Ukrainian Armed Forces will break through the Russian defenses? Or is it said for the sake of words? And out of the promised 425 billion, only 125 billion were given... It’s sad in Kyiv and no longer feels like dancing.

Something is called too loudly "a machine for breaking through defenses" - an abrashka without a cannon with an excavator blade. "Lotorea" is a more suitable name for it, or "Stairway to Heaven". Or whatever it was in the Soviet era of Stalin I. In the film "Circus" with Orlova: “I’ll go from a cannon to the sky!”
