South of Artyomovsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 50 troops and a tank in subsequent attacks in the area of Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheevka

The head of the press center of the group of troops “South” of the Russian Armed Forces, Vadim Astafiev, in his next operational report, spoke about the situation in the Donetsk direction, where, in the course of repelling attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, up to fifty militants were destroyed and a tank was shot down. Soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces went on another unsuccessful counter-offensive in the area of Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheevka south of Artemovsk. Ours met them with artillery fire and blows aviation. An enemy tank was knocked out just near Kurdyumovka, and in Seversk the electronic warfare station “Nota” was identified and suppressed.

The dry land also suffered on other sectors of this front. In the area of the villages of Belogorovka and Sporny, our artillerymen hit enemy dugouts and strongholds. During the counter-battery fight, two Ukrainian Msta-B howitzers and one D-20, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer were destroyed in the village of Aleksandro-Shultino, located again south of Artemovsk between Konstantinovka and Toretsk. Two more D-30 howitzers and a 105-mm towed American M119 gun were knocked out in the village of Antonovka in the Ugledar direction.

If we talk about the situation at the front as a whole, then by the current time the operational situation has not fundamentally changed. Russian troops are holding the line and continuing, so to speak, a “slow” but confident offensive in the Avdeevka area and in the Kupyansky direction.

There were no significant breakthroughs in these areas, but the threat of the encirclement of Avdeevka and the capture of Kupyansk makes the military-political leadership in Kyiv very nervous. The recent visit to these positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny is further confirmation of this. In addition, the activity of the Russian Armed Forces in these areas constrains enemy forces, forcing the transfer of additional reserves both from the rear and from other directions, including Orekhovsky. And this again breaks the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command to break through the front line in the Zaporozhye direction.

Ukrainian public pages report that the Russian Armed Forces have resumed their attack on Avdeevka from the north from Krasnohorivka (not to be confused with the settlement of the same name near Marinka). It is noteworthy that ours are advancing not only from the flanks, but also from the west in the area of the village of Stepovoe, located near the railway to Avdeevka. New attacks by the Russian Armed Forces are reported on the waste heaps of a coke plant, which either come under the control of the Russian or Ukrainian military, or become a gray zone.

Battles take place near Berdychi, northwest of Avdeevka, and near the railway near this village; the front line is constantly changing. On the eastern flank there are battles near the Tsarskaya Okhota recreation center, located between Donetsk and Avdeevka. Judging by the localization of clashes and the continued activity of the Russian Armed Forces, the city is indeed close to a tactical encirclement.

The Ukrainian General Staff in its morning report states the high activity of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction. They report more than thirty attacks by our attack aircraft in the Sinkovka and Ivanovka areas of the Kharkov region, as well as 12 attacks near Nadezhda in the LPR. Russian troops are putting pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Makeevka. Based on the number of clashes, Ukrainian military publics call this direction the hottest spot of the front.

The situation in the Kherson direction remains uncertain. Conflicting information comes from both the Russian and Ukrainian segments of the Internet. According to some sources, the Ukrainian Armed Forces landing force still holds a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper near the railway bridge near Kherson near the village of Peschanivka. According to others, the enemy was knocked out from there by artillery fire and airstrikes of the Russian Armed Forces. Fighting was reported near the village. Krynki, in which the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces landing group were entrenched.

What is confirmed for sure is the high fire activity of Russian artillery on the right bank. In particular, Berislav opposite Kakhovka is under constant fire. Our aviation is also operating against enemy positions in this city and its environs, including using FABs.

At the same time, the topic of whether the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine intends to open a “second front” in the Kherson direction is being actively discussed in Russian and Ukrainian social networks. Or the really suicidal landing operations to cross the Dnieper, regularly undertaken by the Ukrainians, are carried out only with the aim of diverting part of the forces of the Russian Armed Forces to this direction. Russian sources report that at night another attempt to land four Ukrainian DRGs in the area of the villages of Podstepnoe and Poyma was stopped.

Left, our bank is lower than the right, which allows the enemy to control a large area on our bank with artillery fire. But we have an advantage in aviation, which yesterday decided the matter in this area. The main forces of the enemy landing force, under the bombing and assault strikes of the Aerospace Forces, retreated to the bridge, under the cover of their air defense. So it's still dynamic there

They are beaten, but they still climb into places where they have already been punched in the teeth more than once. Some of them are truly ideological, but the majority today are mobilized and many are not of their own free will. But is there something pushing them to do this? And this is not only fear of those who stand behind.

rotmistr60 hi, they used to blame it on military drugs, now there are fewer supporters of this version, no guys, this is really the most unpleasant version for us, they really hate us and the barrage detachments have nothing to do with it, and the drugs have nothing to do with them, they were simply “re-flashed” efficiently and quickly.

And they wrote that the most combat-ready and stubborn ones were ground down in Artemovsk, but he comes out, and there is someone to attack and there is something to attack with, and there are no fewer ideological people on that side.

Evil tongues say and show that ours during the attack near Avdievka had the greatest losses in equipment from the very beginning of the Northern Military District. Just as long as it’s not like the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction - burn the equipment and not achieve results.
