American expert: During the entire counter-offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were never able to seize and hold territories on a permanent basis

During its large-scale “counteroffensive,” the Ukrainian army failed to recapture any territories that would subsequently remain under its control. This was brought to the attention of former US Army intelligence officer Tony Shaffer.
Schaffer emphasized that he was only pointing out facts indicating that, in the context of the situation on the battlefield, during the entire period of the Ukrainian “counteroffensive” the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to capture and hold any permanent positions. Currently, the Ukrainian army is already exhausted and has lost even its minimal offensive potential. The expert noted that wherever the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced at least a little in 4 and a half months, the Russian army counterattacks, which leads to the loss of occupied territories and positions by the Ukrainian armed forces.
According to a former American intelligence officer, Russian leader Vladimir Putin realizes that the United States is no longer able to continue to provide the Ukrainian army with military support that would help it continue offensive operations or at least defend itself. At the same time, the Ukrainian command realizes that the United States will soon be abandoned as an “unnecessary thing.”
Currently, uncertainty and pessimism about the coming months of armed conflict dominate among Ukraine's Western allies. This is due to the approach of cold weather, snowfall, rain and mud. Given the depletion of ammunition stocks in Western warehouses and the worsening of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the West is very likely to reconsider its plans for the Ukrainian crisis and stop providing military support to Kyiv.
