Head of the press center of the Dnepr group: The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 130 fighters in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions
Despite the fact that today all the attention of the world community is focused on Israel and Palestine, fierce clashes also continue in the zone of the Russian special military operation.
Russian troops here are divided into five main groups for more effective operations - these are “West”, “East”, “South”, “Center” and “Dnepr”. The last group covers the Kherson direction and the western part of the Zaporozhye direction.
The head of its press center, Roman Kodryan, spoke about the situation in the zone of responsibility of the Dnepr group of Russian troops, whose statement was published on the Ministry of Defense’s Telegram page.
According to a representative of the Dnepr group, the Russian aviation and artillery inflicted fire damage on the personnel and equipment of two brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - the 82nd air assault and the 65th mechanized. The strikes were carried out on enemy positions in the area of the villages of Rabotino and Verbovoye, in the Pologovsky district of the Zaporozhye region. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 80 military personnel, as well as a tank, a D-30 howitzer, an M-46 cannon and several vehicles, Codrian noted.
As for the Kherson direction, according to the head of the press center, the enemy lost more than fifty soldiers and 12 armored vehicles in one day.
Thus, in the zone of responsibility of the Dnepr group, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 130 servicemen per day.
