The President of Moldova, without evidence, accused the “team” of the deceased Prigozhin of attempting a coup in the republic

The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, made strange accusations against the deceased curator of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and his associates. The politician accused “Prigozhin’s team” of attempting a coup in the country this year.
As Sandu noted, Prigozhin’s people were allegedly planning to carry out a coup in Moldova in 2023. But the republic’s special services managed, according to her, to prevent a change of power.
Of course, the Moldovan president did not provide any evidence to support her words. Such accusations, not supported by evidence, only contribute to further devaluation of the words of the Moldovan president, and it is very strange that Maia Sandu herself does not understand this.
In fact, the political situation in Moldova remains tense throughout 2023. Sandu and her entourage, being completely pro-Western politicians, are not only trying to finally turn the country into a satellite of neighboring Romania, but are also moving towards involving Moldova in the Ukrainian conflict. The majority of residents of the republic do not support such a political course, but the current authorities are not interested in their opinion.
It is beneficial for Sand to pass off public dissatisfaction with his policies as the machinations of certain external forces, including Prigozhin, especially since the deceased PMC curator now cannot answer such accusations. In addition, the Moldovan president stated that Russia is allegedly preparing a change of power in the republic by interfering in the political situation in the country.
