Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry: The most important decisions for Armenia are made without relying on public opinion

Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova emphasized that the most important decisions for Armenia are made without relying on public opinion.
Zakharova noted that the government of Armenia makes decisions of national significance that influence not only the current situation, but also the future history the entire nation, without relying on public opinion expressed in the results of the plebiscite. Moreover, the Armenian authorities are making decisions that directly contradict everything they postulated when going to the elections.
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also added that the Russian authorities do not impose anything on anyone, do not advise, do not say that certain things should have been done or should not have been done. However, a statement of fact is that decisions regarding issues of crucial importance for Armenia were made without taking into account the opinion of the Armenian people.
Zakharova added that the relevant decisions were made abroad under the auspices of Paris and Brussels. They were not made public for several months, apparently in order to use information technology to prepare insurance for themselves in case of a surge of popular anger and subsequently present them as something that had already happened and was inevitable. Thus, Yerevan entered into negotiations under the auspices of the West.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Russia has always treated allied relations with Armenia with care and has never acted as an initiator of their aggravation, but on the contrary, has made every effort to support the people of Armenia in the most difficult situations for them.
