Voenkor: On the road to Verbovoye - a lot of destroyed Western equipment, including the Challenger 2 tank

The road towards the village of Verbovoye, located in the Orekhovsky section of the Zaporozhye direction, is literally strewn with the skeletons of burnt military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including Western-made ones. Military correspondent Andrei Rudenko writes about this in his Telegram channel.

According to the military correspondent, there is a lot of military equipment there, including, say, the British Challenger 2 tank. This is not the first report of destruction tank British production in battles in the Zaporozhye direction. In total, Great Britain transferred 14 such tanks to Ukraine.

All of them entered service with the 82nd separate air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was in the strategic reserve of the command. But then she was nevertheless thrown into battle at the Orekhovsky site, hoping that a brigade armed with Western equipment would correct the situation. But the Ukrainian command miscalculated. The brigade suffered huge losses - both in personnel and in military equipment.

It is noteworthy that, despite the obvious high losses, the Ukrainian command is in no hurry to stop the counteroffensive. Apparently, the patrons of the Kyiv regime in the West categorically prohibit doing this without achieving any result that would at least somehow resemble “success.”

After all, if the Ukrainian Armed Forces now stop the counter-offensive, it will not only be a colossal image blow to the regime of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, but also a great shame for the West itself, since it will demonstrate the complete uselessness of its military assistance - both in equipment, and mercenaries, and in the training of personnel of Ukrainian formations .

Is this really not enough to understand that armored vehicles are becoming, if not a thing of the past, then relegated to the background? The war is going into the air. By screws!

This war, on the contrary, destroyed the Western paradigm of illusions about the omnipotence of “air”, which, with the saturation of air defense, sharply loses in efficiency and the number of aircraft. The situation shows that we were right in continuing to invest in the development of armored vehicles despite statements about the uselessness of the latest MBTs, saying that tactical aviation will sort everything out. It is possible to advance without aviation, but not without armored vehicles

What is an offensive without aviation is shown by the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
All efforts of tanks and infantry are quickly nullified by mines, artillery, or ATGMs.

It is not clear how aviation will fight mines, ATGMs, and even artillery.

What conclusions can be drawn, even if only preliminary... military operations, as before, are carried out by various types of equipment and in all environments, i.e. they, as before, are COMPLEX! Skewing in any direction and the absence of any systems does not lead to anything good!

And is it good for the VFU with armor to advance without air?))))

Alas, it only showed that the Russian Aerospace Forces are unable to effectively destroy ground-based air defense. there are not enough AWACS/RTR/EW/other types of reconnaissance aircraft.

The question is that Ukraine has all this in the form of NATO. We cannot resist it. Scout. Satellite . No no

Without target designation from NATO reconnaissance, Ukraine’s air defense is nothing (now these are mainly individual air defense systems that operate only “from ambush” according to NATO target designations, and these air defense systems can only survive when switched off),
And in the event of a full-scale conflict between Russia and NATO, this target designation would sharply and greatly deteriorate (it would quickly and accurately arrive at ground-based points for collecting intelligence information from satellites and other communication centers, at the locations of AWACS, RTR aircraft, etc.).
We have shortcomings with intelligence, but not everything is so bad and the situation is improving

Have you been in hibernation for the last century? If so, then I advise you to read about how German aviation turned Soviet ground aircraft in different poses in the Second World War in 1941, American aircraft in Iraq, Azerbaijani Armenian aircraft already 2 times, and now Ukrainian Russian aircraft in Crimea and Russian Ukrainian aircraft on the mainland. And then you will tell fairy tales about how you can now fight without air control, preferably with a personal example.

This war proved that aircraft 4. and 4+. generations are not able to effectively overcome air defense systems. It has always been the case that territory is not under control until infantry enters it.
Low-flying targets are difficult to intercept by ground-based air defense. Although they are much easier to see from the air. Well, if Ukraine sends a Su-25 or Mi-24 to the front with MiG-29 or Su-27 cover, then for the Su-35S such a whole formation is an achievable goal. At the same time, the Su-35S is completely out of reach of Ukrainian aviation. The Ukrainians want to change that with the F-16. SVO shows that progress is often possible without armored vehicles.

The reality is that all current indicators indicate that artillery and tanks are the basis of war! Missiles against point complexes solve exclusively local problems...

      By screws!

From what screw, when ours manage to hit their own?

The crash site of the Russian Su-35 near Tokmak. The day before the plane came under “friendly fire” from air defense systems. The pilot died. @voenkorKotenok

The Russian air defense system will not target and launch a missile at its own aircraft. This is how the radar identification system works, in my opinion.

It's an everyday matter. This has always been the case in aviation, is and will be all over the world.
May the pilot rest in peace.

And at that very moment, the loving creature rushed off on a date (with only old men going into battle).
My friend... have you even flown in something non-civilian? I'm here as part of the exchange of experience on the Su-27-UB. Believe me, for the last 20 years I have preferred only railway. Vomited after landing... held on until the last. I planted it myself... well, in quotation marks... Andrey said what to click where, etc. I consider this experience to be the greatest in my life. When he made me a barrel... and then began to settle... he said... Tolyan engines of that... we will eject right now...... then everyone laughed... despite the fact that my vestibular system is in order ! good laughing

It's much worse. I know too well in detail how many things can break there.))) For a range of up to 3 thousand km only by car or railway. If I’m flying, when landing, if on the ramp, I try to see to what extent the landing gear wheels are worn, to see if there are any traces on the loose rivets, the whole flight I listen intently to how the engines are working, I look out the window to see if they’re on fire. When landing, I listen to see if the landing gear is out, if the locks are in the open position, I look at how the flaps are out... I can’t sleep.

We were harshly downvoted here... I will support my colleague.
91 landings in Adler were enough for me, within 2 weeks the country began to swell. After that, I flew only 2 times to NY and to Budapest, when I studied at Moscow State University for a year before Chechnya. After that ninaga.
Not everyone has personal savior angels. Our pilots did such things... drinks

The ground operation has not been cancelled. It will always be there. Even at high LA levels. Infantry and MBT will always be in tandem. This is the reality.

They will carry out the offensive as long as there is manpower to carry out attacks. If they had not 8 corps in reserve and the same number in formation, but at most a couple, then they would simply sit on the defensive and not even think about counterattacks.

On the way to London there will be even more Challengers, and on the way to Berlin - Leoperdov.

About the supply of "leopards", "Challengers", "Abrams". It was only the lazy who didn’t write, but the fact that only ours write “tryndets” to them. For them, image is the basis of sales around the world - money is the basis of a capitalist, and they “sneezed” at the fat eater.
