A Turkish company plans to build a UAV production plant in Ukraine within a year and a half.

From the very beginning, the Ukrainian conflict showed the increased role in modern military conflicts of such types of weapons as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They are actively used on both sides.

Moreover, as the media reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at least in the first months of the conflict, often used Drones "Bayraktar" made in Turkey. The Russian side later began to use the Iranian-made Shahed UAV, according to some foreign media.

And as it recently became known, the Turks, “friendly” to Russia, decided to organize the production of drones on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced by Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar, speaking at the international forum of defense industries in Kyiv.

According to H. Bayraktar, this process has already been launched and will last about a year and a half, when the construction of a UAV production plant in Ukraine will be completed.

The Turkish company is ready to invest about $100 million in this project, its general director noted.

Let us recall that last month the Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasily Bodnar spoke about Baykar’s plans to build a plant in Ukraine and claimed that the Turks had allegedly already purchased a plot of land for these purposes, without specifying where. But Russian intelligence will figure it out...

There is nothing good in this for Russia! Because this The Turkish plant, in the interests of the national security of our country, will become a legitimate military target for the Russian Armed Forces and we will have to bomb it!

In the meantime the co-owner of Baykar Makina is the husband of President Recep Erdogan’s youngest daughter, Selcuk Bayraktar, who is tipped to succeed Erdogan as President of Turkey. The candidacy is loved by the Turkish people and is quite a real successor to Erdogan.

        REFERENCE
Bayraktar Sr. became close to Erdogan back in the 1990s - they were both members of the ISLAMIST Welfare Party, which later became the current ruling AKP.
In 2016 year their families became related: Selcuk married the youngest daughter of the Turkish leader Sümeya.
Family connections contributed to the company's prosperity. Turkish officials have effectively turned into salesmen for Bayraktar drones, promoting them in negotiations with foreign governments.
Bayrakar has become Turkey's largest arms exporter.

Moreover, throughout the conflict in Ukraine Bayraktar consistently supported Kyiv and repeatedly transferred drones of its own production to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a FREE basis.
In addition, Baykar Makina plans to open a drone production plant in Ukraine.
And last year his brother Haluk Bayraktar categorically refused to supply drones to Russia, despite Erdogan’s words about the company’s possible cooperation with Russia.

The company is now working on the Bayraktar Kızılelma, Turkey's first supersonic unmanned fighter, which the developers say will be superior to the American fifth-generation fighter F-35.

TOTAL So business does not always exclude politics. On the contrary. Such a statement is a lie of liberals, designed to disorient the common population in the obvious goal-setting of the personal geopolitical plans of various politicians, industrialists and financiers with the aim of manipulating the consciousness of the masses in favor of the hegemony of those in power and distracting the masses from politics and their struggle for their rights.

There have been conversations about this plant since March 22. Maybe there won’t be any need to build - there won’t be a customer anymore.
And if they build it, they will insure it so that Russia itself will transmit the coordinates of the construction site for a missile strike.

Dear, the headline says, WILL BE BUILT IN 1.5 YEARS. I have a question, are you going to fight with them for another 1.5 years? Not too much for Russia? And then there’s nothing personal here, the Turks stick their business everywhere. With textiles, tomatoes and tourism cannot feed 80 million mouths. It’s Russia that has the entire periodic table, but they don’t have a damn thing. And if there is not enough space to live like in Dubai. This is nothing personal, business! If the Turks don't sell, others will. There is nothing irreplaceable, there are unique ones! I don’t think Bayraktar is unique. There are much better ones. And Bayraktar, with proper air defense, won’t fly much.

No, not at all... We fought in Chechnya for 10 years, where the bandits had no tanks or planes. In 10 years, they knocked out almost the entire top and base of the separatists and now Chechnya is Russia’s best friend. And so, in any case, the unfinished Basmachi would have been running around in the mountains for the same 10 years. Yes, they still crawl out here and there...
Maybe Azerbaijan will help us finish off the Banderlogs in Ukraine, at least with a word of support, or are they more valuable to you than the Russians?

With our liberals in power, nuclear warheads will begin to be produced there. We need to act tougher, much tougher than now. We should have agents there that will help us not only in finding enterprises, but also to track every scientist involved in these programs. We should have already eliminated those who are working on the creation of their missile weapons, sea and air drones and other military developments.

Bourgeois power. therefore, the interests are bourgeois, which may not coincide, and even be diametrically opposed to the interests of the country's population. Moreover, some of the government’s actions can hardly be considered unprofessional. Often they are akin to economic sabotage (the Ministry of Finance, for example, which believes that it is impossible to print rubles without having dollars, and gold is not a panacea for the development of the domestic economy)...
For example, I’m very curious why we spend the same amount on servicing the national debt as on health care and a hundred billion more than on education?
Why are other expenses + national expenses equal in amount to expenses for national defense?

Another thing is surprising to me. If the Turks plan to invest in the construction of a plant in Ukraine for 1,5 years + that time to recoup costs and make a profit, then they understand or probably know that Ukraine or part of it as a state will exist during this time. Those. do not bet on Russia's victory and assume that during this time there will be at least some military and political positional status quo, and Ukraine will receive more and more weapons and money. The fact is that in modern warfare, human resources play a smaller role than professionalism. The main thing here is the presence of a sufficient amount of modern weapons, high-quality command and control (stable communications), intelligence efficiency and high mobility...

Now I have no doubt about it. And at the beginning, the SVO thought that the operation would last 3 years: a year of active operations, two to clean up the remaining Bandera elements. And this was considered an extremely pessimistic, even all-out forecast here on the forum. It is interesting that some fellow “uryakly” have not yet gotten rid of their illusions.
Well, Russia doesn’t have the resources to control the entire territory, with a disloyal population to boot! The regime can be brought down, but then it depends. If Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov become Russian, you will be very lucky. If it’s also Odessa, you’ll be incredibly lucky.

I doubt. I doubt that the plant will be built - it will take a long time to build a plant from scratch. Most likely this will be a simple conversion of old buildings of some plant in western Ukraine. I doubt that this will be a UAV production plant. Most likely this will be an assembly workshop from ready-made kits. I doubt that the money will be Turkish. Most likely this is a transaction of American money, otherwise the Turks would not rush to spend it so easily without a guarantee of return.

And this way it will be possible to drag it out for three or four years - for sure. And in four years, one of the signatories will definitely move their horses: either Erdogan, or Bayraktar himself, or Zelensky (which is most likely on this list :)))
Or (which is also not at all excluded) - there will be neither war nor Ukraine in its current form, and there will simply be no need to produce these drones.
