The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan reported losses during the recent operation in Nagorno-Karabakh

On September 19, the Azerbaijani authorities announced a “local anti-terrorist operation” in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh. As a result of the ATO, which lasted only a day and ended with negotiations between the parties through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, Baku’s authority over the region was recognized in Stepanakert.
Meanwhile, during the above-mentioned operation, fierce clashes took place, including with the use of artillery. As a result, both sides suffered losses.
According to today's message published by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, 192 servicemen of the country's armed forces were killed during the local operation. Another 512 were injured of varying degrees of severity.
In turn, the Ministry of Health of Armenia also announced yesterday that the bodies of 125 dead were delivered to the country from Nagorno-Karabakh.
It is not reported whether there are military personnel of the Armenian Armed Forces among them. However, such information is unlikely to be announced, since Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan previously stated that there are no Armenian military personnel on the territory of Artsakh.
At the same time, information is received that the Armenian population continues to leave the unrecognized republic, which has now become part of Azerbaijan. According to some reports, more than 20 thousand people have already left the region.
