Since the beginning of August, the Ukrainian army has shelled Donetsk with cluster munitions more than a hundred times.

Since the beginning of August, militants of the Kyiv regime have carried out artillery strikes on Donetsk more than a hundred times using American-made cluster munitions. This was stated by a member of the Russian delegation at the OSCE forum held in Vienna, which discussed issues of military security and arms control, Oleg Bushuev.
During his report at the event, Bushuyev emphasized that since the beginning of August alone, the Ukrainian army has used American cluster munitions at least 104 times to strike densely populated residential areas of the Russian city of Donetsk.
A representative of the Russian delegation noted that the militants fired from 155-mm artillery systems using American M-864 ammunition with a cluster warhead. During the specified period of time, seven civilians were killed and 17 were injured, including one child. In total, more than 74 residential buildings were damaged.
In addition, units of the National Guard of the Russian Federation in the special operation zone in Ukraine since February last year managed to detect and neutralize about 48,8 tons of explosives and more than 260 thousand explosive objects, including more than 9770 anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.
The Ukrainian army received American cluster artillery shells as part of the next US military supply package. This type of ammunition is prohibited by an international convention ratified by 123 countries.
