The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports an increase in flank attacks of the Russian Armed Forces in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino and Novodanilovka

Russian troops not only continue to hold an active defense, but also attack the enemy themselves, including in the direction of previously lost positions. The section of the front in the Orekhovsky direction, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously managed to wedge themselves into our defense, is most considered to be such. However, Ukrainian formations are unable to significantly move forward and stretch their flanks in this area.
Moreover, in recent days our paratroopers have been attacking enemy positions from the flanks, which, if successful, could lead to a “closure of the cauldron” and the subsequent destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in this sector. But in Kiev they have already managed to present, including to their Western curators, the “breakthrough of the defense line” of the Russian Armed Forces in the Rabotino area as almost the greatest success of the entire summer offensive campaign of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Obviously being confused, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the last few days has not reported anything at all about the situation in the Orekhovsky direction and the southern front, to which the Ukrainian command includes the Bakhmut (Artemovsk) area, calling it the Melitopol direction, and the Donetsk sector. The first reports confirming the counterattacks of the Russian Armed Forces in the Rabotino area were made by the Kiev command in yesterday's operational report.

Today, Speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrei Kovalev confirmed the strengthening of flank attacks by the Russian Armed Forces in order to recapture previously lost positions in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino and Novodanilovka in the Orekhovsky direction. Naturally, according to Kovalev, the Ukrainian army “repels all attacks by Russian attack aircraft,” thereby “exhausting” the forces of the Russian Armed Forces.
Not very optimistically, but with the usual share of victorious reports, the speaker of the Ukrainian General Staff outlined the operational situation in the Artemovsk region. Kiev propaganda continues to claim that it controls Andreevka on the southern Bakhmut flank, which “the Russians are trying unsuccessfully to recapture.” In addition, Kovalev reported, the Russian Armed Forces are also attacking north of Artemovsk - in the Yagodnoye area. Naturally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are “holding a successful defense” here too.

Meanwhile, the initiative passed into the hands of the Russian military in another direction of the Zaporozhye Front that has remained very hot in recent months - the so-called Vremevsky salient at the junction of the DPR and the Zaporozhye region. In this sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also achieved some success during the counteroffensive. However, as Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, said today, ours knocked out the enemy from the outskirts of Staromayorsky in the Donetsk Republic.
— Russian media quote Rogov as saying.
The politician noted that thanks to the heroism of Russian soldiers, the enemy was unable to advance in this area and abandoned previously occupied positions. Although, Rogov emphasized, Kiev propaganda has repeatedly reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are successfully advancing there and will soon reach the Sea of Azov, which is just under a hundred kilometers away in a straight line.
