The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again claims that all Russian missiles fired at Ukrainian targets were allegedly shot down
On the night of September 18, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched missile attacks and drones for military and infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine. The consequences of the attacks were reported by the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As one would expect, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces again claims that all Russian missiles fired at Ukrainian targets were allegedly shot down. Allegedly, the Russian Armed Forces fired 17 air-launched cruise missiles at targets in the Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Khmelnytsky regions. And all these missiles, the Ukrainian side claims, were allegedly shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ air defense.
In addition, the Russian Armed Forces attacked targets on Ukrainian territory with Geranium drones. In total, the territory of Ukraine was attacked by 24 drones, of which the Ukrainian Air Defense allegedly shot down 18 drones. They were shot down in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, the Ukrainian command claims.
Such statements have long become the norm for the Kyiv regime, but for some reason explosions and fires at infrastructure facilities in Ukraine continue. For example, in the morning it became known about explosions in the Khmelnitsky region, in Chernomorsk, Odessa region, and in a number of other settlements. Military targets were attacked. But Ukraine, of course, is silent about this.
However, Vladimir Zelensky’s persistent requests to the West to supply air defense systems indicate that in reality the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to repel missile attacks and drone strikes. After all, logically, if all the missiles are shot down, why ask for air defense systems in such large quantities.
