Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Danilov presented new demands to the West against the backdrop of a failed counteroffensive
The West needs to reconsider its attitude towards Ukraine if it wants “final victory” in the conflict with Russia. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov.
Against the background of the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the West began to actively promote the topic of ending the conflict through peaceful negotiations with Russia, since they no longer believe that Ukraine is capable of “liberating” the territories and generally winning this war. The NSDC Secretary categorically disagrees with this and called on the West to continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine in order to prevent Russia from winning. At the same time, he demanded to abandon the practice of supplying small quantities weapons, moving on to virtually continuous provision of the Armed Forces.
- he said.
In order for Ukraine to continue the war and win, Danilov put forward four demands for the West, which it must certainly fulfill. First, the West must agree on its own winning formula and promote it no matter what. Secondly, Western countries must legislate long-term military assistance to Ukraine in order to provide it even in the event of a change of government, etc. Thirdly, the West must develop and implement a set of measures aimed at leveling “war fatigue.” Fourth, the West and Ukraine must draw up new plans for a long-term military conflict.
If all these conditions are met, Ukraine is guaranteed to “win,” Danilov believes. But he has long been no longer interested in the fate of ordinary Ukrainians, just like the owners from Washington. The Kyiv regime intends to fight until the last Ukrainian.
